About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for 20 years. I love playing and walking dogs especially. I can also babysit and house sit if needed. I am retired so I can take my time with each pet to make sure they are healthy and content. I know from experience this gives the owner peace of mind when they have to leave. I provide pet care in your home and neighborhood, whether it’s in the house, backyard or going for a nice long walk. It all depends on what the owners would like.

About: I bring the magic where ever I go, especially to visit the dogs and cats of Charleston. I love to take them on adventures to Hampton park, Magnolia Plantation, the island beaches, or around Colonial Lake. Some of my regulars include the 2 cutest Dachsunds downtown. I’m experienced with all breed and sizes! I am a local contractor so my schedule is very flexible. I can do mid day walks or drop ins as long as I don’t have a job to do! I will always take your dog on regular walks and play with younger dogs or any who have the energy. I know how to pet the grumpiest of cats without them walking away! I will give your pet a lot of attention as I know they might be missing you and want them to be relaxed as possible!

About: Dogs have been part of our life forever, and now we share our adventures with our playful 2.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog! We’re pros at beach zoomies, exploring trails at John’s Island County Park, and playing with our friends at the dog park. Your furry friend will be treated like part of the pack—playtime, snuggles, and endless tail wags guaranteed! Your dog(s) can have their own separate comfortable suite in our home or can mingle and play as much as they'd like with our pup, whichever you/they prefer! Conveniently located on your way to Kiawah/Seabrook Island, we are here to make your time away from home comfortable and convenient! We have a unique living situation where we live above the bicycle shop we own so one of us will be “home” most of the days. Our schedules aren’t consistent but if we aren’t “home” running the shop, we won’t be away from home for longer than 3 hours at a time. In our home, pets are treated like family, and every day is a new adventure! The mornings always kick off with fetch in our yard. While we’re in the process of building a fence, our yard is tucked away off the road, next to a quiet driveway leading to a storage facility—plenty of space to play safely! Our dog (and yours, if you’re comfortable) then heads to work at the bicycle shop, where she’s the official greeter and mood booster, soaking up love from coworkers (furry ones and human ones) and guests. Midday breaks are all about chasing tennis balls and soaking in extra snuggles. After work, the real fun begins! We head to John’s Island County Park’s dog park or Beachwalker Park for epic sunset zoomies on the beach. Your pup will enjoy endless playtime, love, and adventure with us—it’s a tail-wagging good time every single day! Your dog(s) can join in on all the fun with the other pups and people or can be kept separate while still being comfortable, getting lots of play, and all the love they need!

About: I've lovingly taken care of puppies and dogs continuously for more than two decades. Let me help put your mind and heart at ease like a trusted family friend. I have years of experience walking dogs, pet sitting, and training both new puppies and adult dogs with exclusively positive training techniques. I also have experience taking care of cats (kittens, adults, and senior cats) as well as senior and sick dogs. Family members, friends and co-workers have all entrusted me with care for their sweet pets, both at their homes, out on walks and adventures, and at my Johns Island home that has a 1/3 acre fenced yard. My current companions are a shy and sweet two-year-old pitty mix and an incredibly mischievous and outgoing eight-month-old pitty/staffy mix. I'm skilled in new puppy care, house/potty training, teaching basic commands, crate training, and thorough puppy socialization using (among other techniques) methods recommended by Kerry Nichols in her fabulous book, "Puppy Brain". I'm experienced in administering medications for cats and dogs that need them, as well as gentle exercise for senior dogs. I'm available for daily walks, exercise adventures to parks and beaches, and puppy/dog/ cat sitting at your home — for clients on Johns Island, Kiawah, Seabrook, and the Riverland Terrace neighborhood of James Island. In my previous professional life, I have been a nonprofit executive for twenty years, and decided to take an extended sabbatical. I'm using this time to spend more time in nature and with friends and family. I'm currently free most days (except Tuesdays through the end of May) for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the work week and on weekends. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, due to an increasing number of people who request bookings and then turn into ghosts (👻), I have to start permanently blocking people who do not respond to my messages after they reach out to me. It’s an absolute epidemic, sadly. You can always let me know in your booking note that your plans aren’t fully solidified or that you are exploring your options. That’s understandable and fine—just don’t ghost! I love taking your pups for walks around the neighborhood or your local park. I also take great care (as much as possible) to stick to your pets established routine if that’s what they need. Do they usually walk early in the morning? That’s what we’ll do! Do they usually play catch or fetch in the afternoon? Let’s go! Does your cat get a treat before bed? They will get their treat. I know how stressful it can be on you and them when you can’t be there yourself.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of all ages and more recently with cats, from young puppies to senior dogs. Through years of hands-on care, I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and understanding each dog’s unique needs and personality. My schedule is very open, and I will be completely available from May 2nd through June 20th for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. After June 20th, I will be working weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, but I will still be available for morning visits before work, afternoon/evening care, overnight stays, and weekend bookings.
