“Bella was amazing with my cat Evie! She was responsive and communicative, cared for Evie exactly as asked, and sent several pictures each day. Evie can get anxious when I’m away, but she was perfect and happy when I got home, so I know Bella did an excellent job with her! I’m so glad to have found Bella as a sitter for Evie!”

About: Hi there! I’m Alec — a lifelong dog lover and experienced handler with a special place in my heart for working breeds. I share my life with Jupiter, a shepherd-husky mix. Through training him, I’ve gained extensive experience with high-drive, reactive dogs and understand the patience, structure, and consistency they need to thrive. I know it can be so hard to find caregivers who understand higher energy dogs, and I want to give you the confidence to enjoy your time away from home and your pup. I treat every dog like my own — with empathy, respect, and a good dose of playtime. I currently work part time. I only accept reservations on days I do not work in order to give your pet the attention they fully deserve. I prioritize safety, structure, and calm energy in every home. I tailor routines to each dog’s needs, keep environments secure to build trust. Whether walking, feeding, or supervising play, I’m attentive and proactive—especially with energetic or reactive dogs who need patience and consistency. Although I'm happy to walk and drop-in with dogs who exhibit dog aggression, your dog must be non aggressive to board with me.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 8 years, including my own who has chronic pancreatitis. I’m comfortable with special diets, medication, and senior dog care. I treat every dog like family—patient, loving, and attentive to their individual needs. Whether your pup is high-energy or needs a gentler pace, I’ll provide safe, thoughtful care tailored just for them. Before getting my own dog at 19, I grew up in a home that always had two dogs. Helping care for them was a constant part of my life and taught me the responsibility, empathy, and joy that comes with loving animals. Additionally, I’ve been volunteering at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, which has deepened my experience with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds. I'm currently in graduate school, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pups! I'm available for walks and in-home visits on Tuesdays, Fridays, and some weekends (just ask about weekend availability). I make pet care a priority and will always treat your dog with the same love and attention I give my own. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort. I follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes—and make sure your pup feels secure while you're away. I always respect your space, keep things clean, and treat your home and pet with care and kindness. My goal is to maintain a calm, trustworthy presence so your dog stays happy and stress-free in their familiar environment.
