She was very responsive from the beginning and flexible to arrange a meet and greet. Buddy and my family immediately had a positive impression of Cate, her family, and her nice home with spacious yard for dogs to play. Everyday, Cate would send me sweet messages and upwards of 6-8 pictures of how much fun he was having there. Buddy was so happy playing with her boys and taking long walks along the canal. Every new picture update put a big smile on my face to see that he was in such good hands. Cate makes an effort to give 1:1 attention to any dog she watches over, so she was thoughtful to ask if Buddy minded that his last day may overlap with another dog's first day. Luckily for us, our dog loves company so his stay became a fun-filled play date under her watchful eye. I appreciate that someone in her family was at home with him at all times. Buddy ended up bonding with her so well that he would follow her to the bathroom and wait at the door while she showered. Hilarious! Overall, Cate set a high standard for dog sitters because of she treated my dog as if he were part of her family and kept me updated several times a day. While Teddy was staying with her, I got 22 pictures and multiple videos through out the stay to let me know Teddy is doing just fine. She also sent me texts throughout the stay just to let me know how Teddy is doing. During the night, she even put a little sweater on Teddy to make sure he doesn’t get cold. My family and I were going to Canada and I was super nervous because I was going so far away, but Lourdes definitely made me at ease and my family enjoyed every single pictures and vidoes she sent us. She is going to be on the top of my very short list of people and places that I can trust Teddy with.”
