“Samantha has been such a lifesaver! All my dog needs is a quick trip outside to potty during the work day, but Samantha goes above and beyond every day. She gives Mona pets and out-of-crate time and will refill her water or change her blankets if that’s needed! I can tell how much she loves dogs because she is a great caretaker! She is also a great photographer and gets better pictures of my dog than I ever have. Because of Samantha, Mona is much less anxious when I am gone and she no longer pees in the house! I am very grateful for her!!”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up in Alaska raising ducks, chickens, rabbits…even a ferret! I’ve always had dogs and a cats. I currently live with a senior pup and a young cat. We have several backyard chickens too! I worked as a professional dog walker/pet sitter for a number of years in Connecticut. I’m used to being outside rain or shine. I also know the importance of being able to adapt to each pets’ individual needs including special diets or medication. I work from home with a lot of flexibility so with proper planning and coordination I can be there to meet you and your furry friends’ needs. I have a fenced yard and a dog who doesn’t mind the company of other well socialized animals. We do have a cat and small child so please consider that before booking. If staying at your home, I will treat it just as my own with respect and consideration for you and your family and your privacy.

“10/10 experience. Jackiellen was extremely kind, communicative, sensitive to my overwhelm lol. She was able to give Soph her meds in just a few minutes!! Excellent experience all around. We’ll be in touch for future visits.”

About: Animal lover with flexible schedule, calm and patient energy. I'm very active so available for long walks or runs! Always attentive to details and specifics for each pet in my care. I'm a full-time creative (painter and graphic designer), so I enjoy setting my own schedule and can easily accommodate to your pet's needs during various times of day. I can work remotely and this allows me to be available more often. I am comfortable learning each pet's needs in their home environments, and adjusting to what makes them feel most comfortable. Happy to come to you so that your pet can experience their typical daily routines.

“Heather was amazing with our two cats! She was able to give one her pill each morning without trouble. Plus they ate well for her and she sent lots of pictures and lovely notes! We would absolutely hire Heather again.”

“I cannot recommend Mia enough! Mia had an incredible level of patience and understanding towards our anxious adult dog and our energetic puppy. They were both happy and sleepy when we got home, greatly appreciated!”

“Justine was fabulous with our cats and we will definitely request her again! Our shyest kitty warmed up in record time. She kept us up to date and was proactive with packages and such. 10/10!”

“I definitely recommend Catey, particularly if your quadrupedal babes tend toward anxiety or need confident medication administration. This is the first sitter I've ever hired who wasn't already familiar with my cats and our home. I was nervous because of my boys needs medicated eye drops every 12 hours, which isn't his favorite thing by far, and he also generally takes a while to get comfortable with new people. Catey's super calm and solid demeanor was evident from the get-go, and this helped my boy a lot. Meds went off without a problem. Everything that needed doing for both cats was done, and my boys were chill as can be when I returned home. Catey was also super communicative and seemed like a solid, kind person in general. I couldn't ask for more from a sitter!”

“Lori is amazing with Joey—I trust her completely. There are only a handful of people I’d feel comfortable leaving him with, and she’s absolutely one of them. She’s great at communicating how he’s doing, sharing updates on his mood and how the visit went, and always makes sure he gets plenty of love.”

“Jeremy took great care of Albus, following directions to a T, feeding him, walking him, and checking in on our boy while we were gone. He also brought in packages! Would use Jeremy again.”

About: Please call me Jay. Since 2015, I've cared for anxious, reactive, or happy-go-lucky pups. From a shelter environment to dog walking, doggy daycare, and vet emergency rooms, I've had hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I'm currently studying positive reinforcement training and have successfully supported 20+ dog with day to day enrichment and desensitization and self calming. I am able to care for animals for around 30-40hrs a week. I am used to working a full time job with animals and enjoy being able to spend my day working them. Your home is your safe place and your dog's favorite place to be. I work hard to make sure your dog's routine is followed and your home stays just as neat and clean as you left it.

About: I’ve cared for family dogs and a cat my whole life, including senior pets with complex needs—so I understand how important patience and gentle care can be. For the past 5 years, I’ve also pet sat for friends and neighbors, from energetic puppies to older animals needing medication or extra help. I recently moved from Atlanta to the Portland area for a full-time job, and leaving my family dogs behind was one of the hardest parts. I work 4 long shifts a week, which makes having a pet of my own tough—but I have plenty of free time, love, and experience to offer yours. Pet sitting and walking helps fill that gap in my heart, and I treat every pet like family. I work full-time Wednesday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm, but I’m available for walks or check-ins before or after my shifts. I have open availability on Sundays through Tuesdays and plenty of flexibility to offer quality time with your pet. I’m also available for overnight stays—even on my workdays, as long as I can head out by 8am. Pet care fits naturally into my life, and I genuinely enjoy making time for it. While I can’t have pets in my apartment, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in your home where they feel most comfortable. I offer overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks, and can help with feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. I’m also happy to transport pets if needed. I treat every animal like they’re my own—keeping them safe, happy, and relaxed while you're away.

“I had a great experience with Jayson. He accepted my reservation on relatively short notice, has the warm demeanor I wanted in a caretaker for my 2 kitties, followed my care requests to a T, and was highly responsive and a clear communicator. I will happily be a repeat customer!”

“Julianne was wonderful! My kitties ended up warming right up to her and they were happy to have her around. She was very good at keeping me updated and sent me lots of photos. Highly recommended and will absolutely use her again if she's available! ?”

“Kayla was wonderful! She’s very sweet and clearly loves animals like I do. I booked somewhat last minute and she was very accommodating coming for a meet and greet late in the evening. I felt very safe leaving my two kitties with her. They even came out for pets which they rarely do with strangers. I would definitely book with her again ♡ ︎”

“Jay is incredible! My dog is sensitive and reactive, and she can be a challenge for dog sitters (hunger strike, anxiety barking etc). But now, when she sees Jay’s car pull up, she gets wiggly and excited because she knows her friend is here! I can tell that have a great time together, and when I’m back, my dog isn’t extra nervous or clingy. What makes Jordan stand out from other dog lovers is her keen understanding of dog behavior and safety. Jordan has helped train my own dog, Hazel, in improved recall, listening to commands and even a few tricks. She has watched and walked Hazel many times, and she has always returned happy, healthy, and even reluctant to leave!
