I left my 11 year old dog Ziggy with her for a week while I was on vacation and I could tell from the daily pictures and videos that she sent me how much Ziggy felt like he was at home. Normally when I get back from a trip Ziggy is overly excited to see me but he was calm and happy when I picked him up which I think speaks to how much he was cared for and how at ease he felt all week. “This is a guy who truly loves animals and had a lot of compassion. We sent out dog and cat to him for a week. We can tell our dog and cat we cared for. They said goodbye to him! My dog actually went to the door as he was leaving!! He dropped off our dog and cat because we were too jetlagged to drive. It was not planned and he was very flexible. Furthermore we forgot to bring the litter scoop for cat. He went out and bought one!!! He was a pleasure sending my pets to him for care. Can't say enough positive. Saint Shawn :)”

We were coming from out of town for a wedding and were looking for a sitter near the venue. Due to traffic, we were running late and Mary Jo was extremely flexible and accommodating and met us at the venue for the drop off. They say dogs can read energy and Rue was very quick to want to be with Mary Jo for the night LOL. She kept us updated with pictures throughout the evening and Rue seemed happy at pick up. We recommend Mary Jo and will definitely seek her services again if we are ever back in the area :)”

“Laraine is so good with my very nervous, shy and oddly quirky goldendoodle puppy, Pluto! He’s done a few daycares and one boarding with Laraine and she’s always got a new trick up her sleeve to encourage him to eat, drink water, etc (things he doesn’t do when he’s nervous!) She always makes sure he feels safe and comfortable when he’s with her and even put his bed next to hers when he was scared for his first night away from home. I’m always so nervous about Pluto’s pandemic puppy nervousness, especially since he’s timid around other dogs, but Laraine always looks out for him and makes sure to encourage him to interact when he’s comfortable (and he’s already attached to her!). She’s a wonderful caretaker and I wouldn’t trust anyone else more with my Pluto :)”
