About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

I pay close attention to detail, communicate frequently with pet parents, and treat every dog as if they were my own. I work full time, but I work from home. I am available on most days and can be there for lunch routines. I am available during my lunch breaks for dog walks. I have one mini bernedoodle, who is the most friendly dog in the world. About: *** PLEASE NOTE *** WE HAVE OUR OWN PERSONAL DOGS IN OUR HOME. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A BOARDING IF YOUR DOG IS NOT DOG FRIENDLY!!! I have over 10 years of experience working with dogs. I have experience with all ages, breeds, and temperments. I am pet first aid and CPR certified. I am also a professional dog trainer. My life is centered around the business I have built. My home is set up to accommodate dog boarding and daycare specifically. I am available everyday (including holidays) for daycare/boarding and I am available for walks, drop ins, and training sessions Monday to Saturday. In my home, I have designated areas for different age groups, energy levels, and even a specific room as a quarantine space if a dog is injured or sick and needs a quiet place to rest alone and away from the others. They are allowed on all the furniture as well as the beds. Dogs are only crated at owners request. I try to make them feel as at home as possible. I have a fenced in yard as well as a dog run I built on the side of my home to allow multiple safe places to play. I also mirror your routine as close as possible.
“Kimberly walked our dog while we were travelling to a relatives house out of state for a Christmas get together. Her rates were reasonable, she was nice, personable, and professional, and most importantly the doors were locked, the dog was ok, and all of our stuff appeared completely untouched when she was done. Would recommend.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
