Mike, where do we begin. You are a wonderful person, he is SO prompt and on time. We truly appreciate that because at the end of the day, our dog who cannot help themselves needs to utilize the bathroom. You are so kind to athena, he brought a huge tennis ball for athena to enjoy and she is OBSESSED. We cannot thank you enough and will miss you.

About: Hi! My name is Veronica, and I’m a graduate student, athlete, and huge animal lover with experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m very active and love being outside, so dog walking and playtime are something I genuinely enjoy. Whether your dog loves long walks, needs extra patience, or just wants company during the day, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand how important trust and communication are when someone else is caring for your pet, so I always try to be dependable, responsive, and attentive to each dog’s routine and needs. I also send photo updates during visits so you can feel relaxed knowing your pet is doing well. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, shy dogs, puppies, and senior pets. I’d love the opportunity to meet your dog and help make your day a little easier! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I love being able to dedicate time to it each day. I have classes in the mornings and early afternoons, so I’m available for walks and drop-in visits in the after 3 PM on Mondays, between 1 PM and 6 PM on Tuesdays, and later in the day on Fridays, after 3 PM. I’m also flexible on other days depending on your pet’s needs! I’m great at sticking to routines, so whether your pet needs a midday walk, evening visit, or consistent check-ins, I’ll make sure they get the attention, care, and exercise they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to follow your instructions closely so your pet can stay in their familiar routine and environment. I take the time to build trust with each pet, paying attention to their behavior, energy level, and individual needs. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during walks and visits, and I’m mindful of surroundings to keep your pet safe at all times. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I have a 70lbs golden doodle and he is very energetic. I need to walk him at least 3 times a day and I enjoy walking with dogs. I used to help some friend to baby sit their dogs sometimes. I can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese, which enable me to effectively communicate with the dog owner. I don't have a job now and have a flexible schedule. I can do it every day to fit your busy schedule. Thanks very much. I have a fenced yard in a town house and a dog ( golden doodle ) which is very friendly to people. Thank you very much.

About: I’ve been around animals all my life and wouldn’t want it any other way! I currently have one rescue dog of my own, having sadly lost one of our pups three years ago. I regularly walk several dogs in the local area, and do regular drop-in visits for a family with three cats, when they go out of town. I also have experience caring for senior cats and dogs. I will always keep you updated with photos/videos promptly after each visit or walk. Rest assured, I will treat your fur babies as my own! My schedule is flexible and I am available most days, including weekends, depending on prior booking commitments. Caring for your pets is always my priority! I am mature, reliable, and responsible and will always treat your pets and your property as I would my own. I will check on your pet’s welfare first and foremost, then will keep them well loved and entertained throughout my visit/walk!

About: I’m Stacy! I have owned several dogs, birds & guinea pigs throughout my life starting at young age. My love for animals is undeniable. My most recent dogs were a Shetland Sheepdog & a Greyhound. I currently do not have any pets, as I enjoy traveling. Your pet will be in great hands, as I am very conscientious & reliable. I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for the last 20 years. I would like to balance my time walking dogs for those who do not have a flexible schedule as I currently do! I live in a quiet development with park like amenities. I do not have a yard so your dog will be walked on a leash in a private neighborhood with no traffic.

About: I love any and all animals, from snakes to dogs. I have a huge soft spot for pitbulls, shepherds, and rottweilers, since they get such a bad name but are fantastic pets! I am also trying to teach my daughter to work hard for what you want, and to be independent, and also that kindness is key. I would ideally be available weekends and during the week from 3pm on, but if additional hours are needed I would be willing to work something out. I hope to hear from you soon, and can't wait to spend time with your furbaby! *I am also willing to send you pictures of your pets if you want when I am over to let them out / take them for a walk. I currently work but would be able to stop in before work, possibly during work, and after work to walk feed & love on the babies. I will make sure all of your rules are followed. I will also stay in contact with you if that is what you want me to do!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. Lots of experience in caring for dog and dog walking. I also have experience in caring for a pet after surgery and administering medication. I understand how important it is for your dog to be comfortable while you are away from home. I work full-time, but I work from home two days a week. Those days I would be available for dog walking or checking in on your pet. Could do in-home sitting, preferably on weekends, but should be able to fit weekdays schedule also. I would be caring for your pet in your home. This would make them the most comfortable being in their own house. I will try to stick to the same routines that the owner does.

About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.

About: Hi! I’m Jackie, a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for dogs, cats, and senior pets. I grew up with dogs and have always been comfortable around them, their energy, and their routines. As an adult, I’m a proud cat mom, which has given me a deep appreciation for feline personalities, boundaries, and the quieter kind of companionship. I understand that pets aren’t just animals—they’re family, and trusting someone with them is a big deal. I’m patient, attentive, and very detail-oriented when it comes to routines, feeding instructions, medications, and comfort needs. I work from home, which allows me to be present, responsive, and flexible with schedules. I especially enjoy providing calm, reassuring care for pets who may be shy, anxious, older, or just prefer a quieter environment. Whether your pet loves playtime, long walks, or simply having someone nearby for comfort and companionship, my goal is always to help them feel safe, loved, and relaxed while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I work part time and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to be present, responsive, and attentive to pets throughout the day. I care for pets by closely following their established routines so they feel safe and comfortable in a familiar environment. I take time to understand each pet’s feeding schedule, walking needs, litter or potty routines, medications, and any special instructions provided by their owner. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, clean, and attentive, making sure pets receive plenty of companionship, enrichment, and reassurance while maintaining their normal daily rhythm. I prioritize calm, positive interactions and never rush care. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a quiet, low-stress environment with close supervision, lots of attention, and regular updates to owners. I’m especially mindful of safety, comfort, and cleanliness. I communicate regularly with photos and updates so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away, and I always adjust my care style based on each pet’s personality, energy level, and needs.

About: I provide more than just pet care—I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I have hands-on experience with both energetic puppies who need extra playtime and training, as well as senior pets who benefit from gentle handling, medication management, and a slower pace. I pay close attention to detail, communicate frequently with pet parents, and treat every dog as if they were my own. I work full time, but I work from home. I am available on most days and can be there for lunch routines. I am available during my lunch breaks for dog walks. I have one mini bernedoodle, who is the most friendly dog in the world. I can take care of dogs in my house, and am available for walks on my lunch.

I was very hesitant to use rover. I did not like the idea of random people just coming into my home. Then we found Nicholas and I am so happy we used rover. He has helped me out so many times and my 3 year old golden doodle loves him. I highly recommend using Nicholas if you’re looking for an amazing person to care for your dog.
