About: I've had small to medium sized dogs but that does not limit me to any other sizes. I enjoy having dogs as company and playing with them till we’re both tired. I work from home and will go to the office at least once a month if needed. My work schedule is 9AM-5PM but I would be able to take your dog outside throughout the day. I live in a friendly and quiet neighborhood and parks are also available near me. I have the flexibility to drive any distance between 5-15 miles away from my home. Please require any special instructions that you would like followed for your dog and any health concerns they may have. Can't wait you meet you and your furry friend! Thank you for your consideration.

I just love animals! , so I don’t mind taking care of them. :> I am currently working part-time in a university dining hall in the afternoons , where I work every other weekend. I have classes in the mornings; however, I am fully available during school breaks, and my sister and parents help me taking care of the pet when I’m not at home.(My schedule might change when classes start) I have a younger sister of 11 years friendly and loves pets. About: What sets me apart is the amount of hands-on experience I’ve had caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities, and needs. For four years, I cared for a senior dog until she peacefully passed away, which taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of providing specialized care. I’ve also cared for newborn puppies, assisted during a dog’s labor and birth, and helped families raise young puppies who needed constant attention and routine. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of temperaments. Some have needed three walks a day and lots of playtime, while others preferred quiet companionship and their personal space. I’ve also worked with dogs that required extra patience due to anxiety, age, or unique behavioral needs. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality so I can provide the care that’s best for them. I’m experienced with different feeding schedules and specialized diets, and I understand how important it is to stick to a pet’s normal routine. I believe consistent communication is just as important as great pet care, so I make sure owners receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication while they’re away. I previously provided dog boarding in my own home, but now that I have two dogs of my own, I primarily offer care in my clients’ homes. This allows your pet to stay comfortable in their familiar environment while receiving attentive, personalized care with minimal disruption to their routine. My goal is simple: to treat every dog as if they were my own and give pet parents complete peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in caring, experienced, and reliable hands. I currently work part-time and have lots of flexibility in my schedule and can fit petsitting and pet care very well in my schedule. I currently do not offer pet care in my home for the safety of your pet and mine, but I will ensure safety at all times taking care of your pet by following any instructions left and being aware of the environment and home I am providing the service in.

About: Hi, I’m Cherish! I’ve been passionately pet sitting since 2019. While I took a brief break from Rover, I am so excited to be back doing what I love most: providing top-tier, reliable care for your fur babies. Over the years, I have specialized in advanced pet care. I am fully confident and experienced in administering medications, including both oral treatments and injections. Don't worry if your pup is on the younger side, though—I have plenty of stamina to keep up with high-energy puppies who need lots of playtime! In addition to dogs I have experience with single or multi-cat households as well as exotic pet care like birds, turtles, lizards, chinchillas, and fish Dog Room and Care Services for Your Furry Friend Your beloved pet deserves the best and I am excited to offer a dedicated dog room in my home that provides everything your pup needs for comfort, including crates, couches, and cots. I guarantee your furry friend will have plenty of playtime and potty breaks, alternating every 2 to 3 hours between indoor and outdoor activities. Please note that all new guests are required to have a meet and greet prior to booking their stay, and unfortunately, same-day bookings cannot be accommodated. For any pups who may not be adjusting to the pup room I do allow them in other areas of the house.

About: Love dogs and would love a chance to play with yours! Used to be an athlete in college and definitely willing to run around to tire out your dog. Also I live close to a dog park and lots of great trails to walk on. My apartment is dog friendly and will be able to walk around my area at night as well without any issues. I currently have one dog, a toy poodle and a cat. Both are very friendly, although the toy poodle just wants to cuddle all day and the cat just wants to eat nonstop. The toy poodle Mocha, enjoys playing with dogs and people. My cat is also very friendly. I’m available to pet sit before 8a and after 5p on weekdays. If needed, I may be able to stop by midday on weekdays. On weekends, I am available all day. I will clean up after your pet and try to take in any mail/packages. I will also try to take out any trash from cat litter or food cans while you are away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fords
My dog is a sweet gentle boy who can sometimes be a bit afraid of new people. He was not only at ease but very happy to be with Gabby from the moment he met her. Gabby is a dog-lover. She’s efficient, a great communicator, and makes me feel very comfortable about leaving my boy in her care. Her reports confirm how much she gets him & enjoys him. She’s a dog-mom’s dream.

We had an excellent experience with Mackinzie walking our dog, Cooper, for 4 days, twice a day. She was punctual every single day, dependable, and took great care of Cooper. We really appreciated how she kept us updated after each walk and shared pictures and all the important information, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She was caring, responsible, and clearly treated Cooper with love and attention. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and reliable. We would definitely book her again!
Eva is so wonderful!! She is timely, communicative and very flexible. She was easy to coordinate with and book when we were looking for a dog walker while our dog was staying with my parents. We are very thankful to have found Eva for our dog and appreciate how friendly and caring she is!

Veronica and her husband Ryan were amazing, Shadow hit it off with them immediately! I will be using them for boarding in September and they were very accommodating when I said I wanted to do a couple walks with them before boarding to build a relationship with Shadow. I am so happy I found them and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for care for their pets.

I can not thank Tina enough she was wonderful ! I was nervous because my dog is new to my home and he is nervous still and this was my first time using a dog sitter lol so I had asked her if she can go to my house a little earlier then planned to check on my dog and she did and it was all incredibly successful !

Hannah was amazing with my Tallulah! First, she was available on such short notice and really helped me out when another sitter cancelled. She went above and beyond and made sure Tallulah was loved and cared for. I felt completely at ease. She was so accommodating since my pup is dealing with a few health issues right now. She wrote a long note at the end and sent lots of pictures. I highly recommend Hannah and definitely want to work with her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
