About: I've had small to medium sized dogs but that does not limit me to any other sizes. I enjoy having dogs as company and playing with them till we’re both tired. I work from home and will go to the office at least once a month if needed. My work schedule is 9AM-5PM but I would be able to take your dog outside throughout the day. I live in a friendly and quiet neighborhood and parks are also available near me. I have the flexibility to drive any distance between 5-15 miles away from my home. Please require any special instructions that you would like followed for your dog and any health concerns they may have. Can't wait you meet you and your furry friend! My 2 senior cats need daily medication (oral pills and topical cream) and Laura was comfortable with this situation. When we booked our vacation, months ago, they didn't need any medication, so finding the right sitter leading up to our time away was stressful for me, but Laura was great and helped me feel more at ease while on our big family vacation. About: I've always loved all animals since I was a kid but have a special affinity for dogs and cats. I lost my sweet pup, Ewan, in 2019 to Hemangiocarcoma (a blood cancer) and to this day I still mourn him and can feel his presence in my life. I also lost my dear cat, Figaro, last year to natural old age causes. I'm a very good dog and cat dad and miss them terribly. In the past few years, so many friends and family have asked me to pet sit their fur babies and they always remark that they know their dog or cat is in the best possible hands with me. That they can actually relax on their trip because of how responsible and devoted I am to their pets and how much their pets adore me. Everyone has been encouraging me to sign up for Rover and now I'm finally doing it! I honestly believe Ewan and Figaro guided me here in their own way to spend time with your beloved kiddos. I look forward to getting to meet you and your pets! I work remotely from home as a story consultant and my longest sessions are around 2 hours, so I have most of the day to hang out with your fur baby! If your pet is staying at my place, they'll most likely hang out with me in the large loft area where I work. So they won't be left alone (unless they're the type that needs their space!) The minute they tell me they need to go out for a walk or really just need attention, I'm all theirs. If they're used to taking naps or sleeping on the bed at night, that also is fine by me! :) If I'm at your place, of course I'll abide by your exact rules for them. I follow instructions well and provide plenty of photo updates so you can relax and know your fur baby is in good hands!

About: I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and patient looking after your pets, and I always try to give them lots of attention, affection, and exercise based on their individual needs. I currently offer drop-in visits, house sitting, and walks. I know every pet has their own personality, so I always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have a senior dog of my own who has a special diet and is partially blind, so I understand the extra patience and attention some pets may need. During walks, I keep her close to me, help guide her safely up and down stairs, and carry her when needed. I also administer her eye drops daily and make sure she stays comfortable and relaxed. Caring for her has taught me how important gentle, attentive care is, especially for senior pets or pets with special needs. I have a fairly flexible schedule! I’m currently available weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as full availability on weekends for over night house sitting, drop in visits for both cats and dogs, and dog walking! Visits include feedings, fresh water, potty breaks, walks and playtime! I’m happy to help keep up with your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. For walks, I focus on making sure your dog has a safe and fun outing.

About: I’ve had multiple animals growing up, I’ve always been the friend/ family member that was asked to care for pets. I’m very patient and adapt very well to different routines and conditions. I only work three days out of the week so i’m pretty available for your needs! I have a dog of my own and he’s always had time to be walked and fed on time! My dog is a quiet shy guy, he free roams in the house is walked regularly and fed on time, I’ve mostly done check ins at the clients home, never had any issue following their routine with feeding or walking.

For four years, I cared for a senior dog until she peacefully passed away, which taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of providing specialized care. I’ve also cared for newborn puppies, assisted during a dog’s labor and birth, and helped families raise young puppies who needed constant attention and routine. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with a wide range of temperaments. Some have needed three walks a day and lots of playtime, while others preferred quiet companionship and their personal space. I’ve also worked with dogs that required extra patience due to anxiety, age, or unique behavioral needs. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality so I can provide the care that’s best for them. I’m experienced with different feeding schedules and specialized diets, and I understand how important it is to stick to a pet’s normal routine. I believe consistent communication is just as important as great pet care, so I make sure owners receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication while they’re away. I previously provided dog boarding in my own home, but now that I have two dogs of my own, I primarily offer care in my clients’ homes. This allows your pet to stay comfortable in their familiar environment while receiving attentive, personalized care with minimal disruption to their routine. My goal is simple: to treat every dog as if they were my own and give pet parents complete peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in caring, experienced, and reliable hands. I currently work part-time and have lots of flexibility in my schedule and can fit petsitting and pet care very well in my schedule. I currently do not offer pet care in my home for the safety of your pet and mine, but I will ensure safety at all times taking care of your pet by following any instructions left and being aware of the environment and home I am providing the service in.

About: I am single woman traveling regularly. When I am not on the road I love having pets around and taking care of them and playing with them. I would like to sit at their own place more than having dogs at home but I will try that. I’m currently working three hours in the afternoons. I have plenty of time to take long walks with a dog or play inside with them. I am living in a fenced house at the moment with plenty of room for running in the backyard. I can also fit a couple of crates if needed.

About: Greyhound lady with over a decade training and caring for dogs, including certifying two rescued racetrack greyhounds as therapy dogs through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. I've cared for five rescue dogs over the years — four greyhounds and a pug mix — handling everything from puppy adjustment to senior care, including medications, mobility needs, and end-of-life support. I use calm, positive-reinforcement handling and I'm skilled at reading a dog's stress or comfort level in real time, so walks stay relaxed and enjoyable. I'm also experienced with nervous or reactive dogs, having safely de-escalated an unleashed dog confrontation while working a mail route. My own dog takes 1.5 hours walk per day. We love Donaldson Park and the Highland Park Meadows, Johnson Park, Cheesequake and Morristown National Park for treats. Safety comes first on every walk. I read each dog's body language and comfort level before we even leave the door, and I adjust pace, route, or duration accordingly — a skill I built training two rescued greyhounds as certified therapy dogs. I stay alert to hazards like other loose animals, traffic, and extreme heat, and I know how to calmly de-escalate a tense situation if one arises. I treat every pet with the same patience and care I give my own rescue dogs, and I communicate clearly with owners before and after each walk so they always know how their pet is doing.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old, when I got my first dog. Over the years I've cared for dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets. As a mom, I'm responsible, patient, and used to keeping a busy household on routine. I'm comfortable following each dog's individual routine and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. When your pet stays with me, they'll be treated like part of the family. I work during the day, but my grandmother is home all day, and my son is home after school and loves animals. Pets will have plenty of company throughout the day while I'm at work, and I'll provide their walks, playtime and attention before and after work. Overnight boarding is welcomed! I have a fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time, along with a comfortable home environment. I'm happy to follow your pet's routine and can crate your dog if needed or preferred.

I currently have cats , a dog and fish in my home. I’m always looking to care for animals! I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and have lots of experience. All my pets are super friendly , and my dog howie loves the company of other pups 🐶❤️ I have a backyard allowing the pups to play but I will also go on long walks several times.
