“Angelica is very quick and responsive. My really shy cat warmed up to her quickly which gave me so much peace of mind to be away and have her care for them while I have to be away.”

“Thanks to Berenice, we were able to make a last-minute trip. She does her best to accommodate and always takes care of the extra things, like a forgotten plant or mail. We can book travel without wondering what to do with our pet while gone!”

“Cathi was a lifesaver. We had a trip planned and a few days before we were supposed to leave, our cat, MacAroni had an emergency that required medication 3 times a day. I was on the verge of canceling our trip when I came across Cathi's profile and saw she had experienced administering medication. I reached out to her and received a response almost immediately. We chatted for a bit about MacAroni's care requirements and I knew right away that she would take good care of our boy. She kept us updated with pictures and texts the entire time we were away. I could not have asked for a kinder, more welcoming person to leave him with. She was truly wonderful and I will DEFINITELY be working with her again in the future. Our pets are part of our family, and she welcomed mine into her home like he was part of her family. Highly recommend Cathi!”

“Samantha cared for my kitty for five days over thanksgiving. She did a great job caring for my kitty and giving her love and attention, and providing good updates with every visit. I will be happy to hure her again.”

“We’ve had Kaitlin house sit and take care of our cat, Louie, again. She goes above and beyond and Louie loves her staying with him. She does an excellent job and we will definitely book her again. Kaitlin is the best cat/house sitter we’ve ever had.”

About: Hi, my name's Kat and I'm a cartoonist who works remotely and would love to be your dog’s new friend! I grew up on a farm in middle of nowhere Tennessee taking care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and all sorts of critters. Rescuing dogs with my mom instilled a love of animals in me that's remained a constant throughout my life. I have over a decade of experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, using positive reinforcement techniques heavily inspired by Patricia B. McConnell's The Other End of the Leash. I'm an active human who runs, hikes, or hits the gym every day, and can easily handle whatever level of activity your pup needs to stay healthy and happy. I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible. I run and hike most days with my malinois and am happy to add any high energy pups to our routine! I'm very attentive to what clients need regarding their animal’s care. My own dog is a very playful young malinois who loves guests. I have a fenced in yard for regular play and potty breaks, and live next to Taylor Mt so nature walks are a staple of our day!

About: Hello, we are Peter & Shannon. We have both had pets throughout our lives and, over the past decade +, have taken care of own dogs and others' dogs in all stages of life. From puppies to seniors with special needs, we know that every dog is special and we aim to provide care, affection, and play to is unique to each dogs ability and preferences. We are comfortable providing medications and incorporating any medical necessities into our daily routine as needed. We do not have children and our dogs (and yours) are absolutely our babies. Currently have one dog, Violet, a very friendly and outgoing doodle who loves meeting and playing with new friends. Violet is quite intuitive and has shown gentleness with more senior or less energetic dogs but she also can "turn it on" and play, play, play with those who are interested. We recently lost our 10 year old labrador, Charley, to cancer and have so much extra love to give to your fur baby. Peter and I mostly work from home so your dog will have both human and canine companionship the majority of the time during their stay with us. When we both venture out, we are not typically gone for more than 4-5 hours. We go on daily walks and frequent excursions with Violet and can easily accommodate the routine needs of your dog(s) as well. Our home is clean is comfortable with lots of dog beds (although you are more than welcome to bring your own) and toys for playing. We do allow dogs on our furniture but, of course, will ensure that we enforce any of your home rules as preferred. We have a fully fenced back yard which we love to spend lots of time in when the weather is nice and we enjoy taking lots of adventures to the Russian River, the beach, and local parks.

About: I have grown up around cats and dogs, taking care of them as well. I have also trained, fostered, and raised service dogs from 8 weeks to 18 months old. I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Zoology, furthering my knowledge of furry friends. I have a love of animals and can guarantee I’ll treat your pet like my own :)) I am looking for a job before I leave for a research technician position in the fall. I am able to look after a pet during any time. I will make sure to play with your pet and take them on walks as able but also keep them comfortable and recognize when they need to relax. I will treat them like one of my own while making sure they behave as I’m asked to do so.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs, including shy rescues, playful puppies, and senior pets. I’m gentle, reliable, and deeply passionate about animals. I’ve volunteered at a cat lounge and understand how to build trust with nervous pets. What sets me apart is my patience, strong communication, and the love I put into every visit—I treat every animal like family. Pet care fits easily into my routine since my schedule is completely open. I’m available daily for feeding, playtime, walks, grooming, and any special care needed. I love animals and always prioritize making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow routines, respect their space, and create a calm, trusting environment.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and have been taking care of them for most of my life. I have experience training dogs, caring for senior dogs, and transporting dogs from shelters to rescues. I have also volunteered at local rescues in my area. I have plenty of time to care for pets! I am a full time college student, but have few classes in person, giving me a lot of flexibility schedule wise! My family has two dogs who I love very much. They get constant walks, love, and attention. I treat clients’ pets with the same love.

About: I enjoy walking dogs and spending time with cats. They are usually attuned to people and I am attentive to their needs with calm energy. I have an open schedule. I enjoy spending time outdoors. I am energetic when needed enjoying physical exercise. I am mellow having calm energy indoors. I have worked in other people's homes before and am considerate of their space and respectful of their belongings. I take charge when needed to get pet to respond.

About: Though i’m more of a cat person, i love dogs very much as well. I’ve always walked dogs for my neighbors, as well as my own dog, Sophia! I am at a point in my work life where I am relatively free, leaving me lots of time to spend with your fuzzy friends! One thing I am always extra careful of is making sure I respect animals boundaries. I will never force an animal to be social, and I prioritize comfort and safety at all times.

“This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience. Cynthia provided timely communication and sent me a lot of pictures of my kitties during her drop-in visits. She even got my shy kitty to come out to play. ?”

About: I currently own 2 dogs whom I walk, feed, play with, and care for on a daily basis. With that experience, I’d be a positive and responsible caregiver to your pup(s)! Weekdays I have the most availability to see your dog, and you can hire me SAME DAY without scheduling in advance. Some weekend times I will have available, which may require a few days advance notice. This is most important to me: making sure your pet feels secure and comfortable. I’m very patient with pets and do my best to keep them safe.

Keith R is a five stars! We are gone for 2 weeks, far away, and he did everything, everything! Our kitty, long hair, white Persian Kitty, 15, she's a little shy, but she loved Keith! Keith brushed her coat, petting with love. He also emptied our mailbox across the street, watering the plants outside, watering the new gladiolus for my daughter, and and more! I already gave a big top. Thank you thank you thank you, Keith! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌹 Faith
