About: I have taken care of both puppies and adult dogs. I have a flexible schedule and can drop by more than once daily if needed! I’m retired and have an open schedule. I can do multiple visits daily if needed. I also have the flexibility to do longer visits if needed to provide socialization and comfort for your pet! I don’t have the ability to care for pets in my home, but I’m available to go to my clients’ homes as frequently as needed. My policy is to be very respectful of my client’s space while spending quality time with their pets! I can accomodate any special needs and I follow instructions well!

I'm currently working part-time, so I'm available Monday-Thursday from 1:30-5pm (potentially earlier or later, depending on location), and all day Fridays (although Friday I will be working, just remotely). I have availability on weekends as needed, I'm pretty flexible. When caring for pet in your home, I treat your fur baby with the same love and attention I’d give to my own. I will follow your routines and preferences, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, litter duty, or just hanging on the couch. I always double-check doors, gates, and instructions to keep your pet safe and your home secure. Your pets will get plenty of love and attention while you're away.

About: I've been caring for friend's and neighbor's pets since I was a teen, and I would love to come give your pets some affection and exercise while you're busy or away! I've lived with many dogs with many different personalities, and have experience working with reactive, anxious, and high-needs dogs. I adopted my (2yo) dog as a puppy and have been learning a lot about puppy training too! I practice positive reinforcement training and I'm happy to turn our walks and play time into opportunities to work on your pup's training. I'm available to come play with your dog, take them for walks, and make sure they get lots of loving attention! I currently work as a field botanist and my schedule is variable throughout the year. When I’m in town I can be available most times of day with advance notice. I try to keep my calendar updated a month or two in advance with my availability. I'm happy to follow any requests, rules, or special needs you have for your pet. I find treats to be a great way to befriend most pups- unless you have particular treats for your dog, I'll typically have treats to share! If your dog takes some time to warm up to strangers, or has trouble walking in places where they may interact with other dogs, I am more than happy to work through their needs with you and the pup.

You can enjoy your vacation or any other plans at ease while your pet is under my supervision. Your senior and/or disabled pets will be cared for with the attention they require. Does your dog have a lot of energy? I also enjoy being outdoors and doing enrichment/training. If you have any special requests, I will make them happen to the best of my abilities! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby(s)! I work part time doing childcare and have plenty of time to care for your pets, home and would love to tend to your plants too! Please note that for house sitting, I will occasionally need to leave for up to 8 hours if I am booked for childcare in advance, but not often. Please check in if your pet requires around the clock care and I will let you know if I am able to at that time. Otherwise I am with your pets majority of the time :) I have the most gentle and loving senior retriever and a sweet playful senior husky who will happily keep your pets company if they come to my home for boarding/doggy daycare. Sorry, I am unable to host cats due to our husky’s small prey drive. Standard protocol is to keep our dogs separated in our home and muzzled while socializing during the first couple of days at minimum to ensure everyone’s safety :) if your dog has a muzzle, please bring provide it. If I am doing drop-ins or overnights, I will happily keep your pets in their usual routine while respecting you and your home. Your home will look just as you left it and your pets will be in great spirits.

I understand that leaving your pet with someone can be unnerving, but I will do my best to make sure this is a fantastic experience for both you and your pet! Regardless if your dog has energy for days, or is a couch potato and would rather curl up on a blanket, I can accomodate both types of dogs. Dogs will have full access to my couch and we can go on walks daily. Car rides are also an option if your pup enjoys car rides! My dog, Sarafina, and I can't wait to meet you and your pup!
