About: I’ve shared my life with three amazing cats, including one who lived to 22 years old—proof of a lifetime of attentive, loving care. I’m deeply familiar with the unique needs of cats at every age and stage, from playful kittens to senior companions. I’m comfortable giving medications, reading feline body language, and yes—even deep-cleaning litter boxes. Whether your cat needs a calm presence, energetic playtime, or quiet companionship, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I work full-time remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to easily accommodate pet sitting and drop-in visits. Whether your cat needs attention in the morning, afternoon, or evening, I can adjust my day to provide reliable, loving care. In a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, stress-free environment where your cat feels safe and cared for. I stick closely to their normal routine—feeding times, play sessions, medications if needed, and of course, keeping litter boxes clean and tidy. I respect your space and your pet’s preferences, whether that means extra snuggles or giving them space to warm up to me. I always send updates and photos so you know your cat is in good hands.

“This was my first time using rover and I’m so glad I found Gavin. He did such a great job watching over my two kitties while I was away. He was so kind and caring to them and he sent pictures every time he dropped by along with a quick message to update me on how they were doing. What I really thought stood out about Gavin’s care was that he went the extra mile and spent the time trying to win over my cats hearts with play times and treats to help them warm up to him. Whenever I’m away I won’t hesitate to contact him. I didn’t have to worry about them at all knowing that they were in good hands. Thanks Gavin! You rock! -Natalie”

“Daisy was amazing! She took care of my two cats for a week, and even coaxed the scaredy-cat out of hiding and got her to play a little. She left the house clean and tidy and my cats well cared for, and sent lots of pics.”

“My cat is incredibly skeptical of all new people but absolutely adored Melanie. She took amazing care of him while I was out of town, and rolled with all of the last minute changes to his care plan that we had to make based on the vet’s orders. Getting videos of him playing every visit helped me feel totally at ease and like my cat was also on vacation. 100% recommend.”

About: There has never been a time in my life when I haven’t had a pet! My dog Hazel Grace and I take daily walks together❤️ I work from home and have a flexible schedule so dog walking fits perfectly into the day and allows me to get outside too! Yes! We have a completely fenced in yard with plenty of room to romp and play. All areas of the yard are visible from inside. I also have a very friendly labradoodle who gets along with everyone.

About: I've had dogs, cats, homing pigeons and a therapy rat at various times my whole life. I'll walk, jog, hike, swim, play, train, give meds, and take pets to appointments. I'm responsible, reliable, patient and compassionate with your dear friend. I'm available for dog walks. I can dog and/or cat sit in your home or in mine. I put dog poop in the trash and I keep litter boxes clean. Pets with medical needs are fine with me. I can drive your pet, if necessary. I can handle pets' medical needs and drive them to the doctor, dog park or cat cafe. I have a 20 acre open area filled with trails and fun things to explore, right outside my front door.

About: Growing up and not having pets only made me love them even more as an adult! I have pet sat for many friends, including overnight and enjoy it each time. It’s like spoiling your nieces and nephews but in furry form. Pet care is just a bonus for me, it allows me to love on furry friends, as I do not have any myself. Simply because my housing does not allow it. Weekends are ideal but if it’s stopping by and checking in in the morning or evening, I am absolutely available! The great thing about animals is they can sense the kind of person you are and if they like you or not. Respecting a pets space is just as important as a humans space. I’m like their aunt, I’d spoil them with walks, pets, treats and lots of cuddles!

“Leigh did a great job in short notice to take out our two dogs on Christmas day. She sent pictures and the Rover card with the information on what she did. I would definitely recommend her and ask her again if I'm ever out of town.”

About: When I was 7, I helped train my cousins' dog, and from that moment on, I’ve been passionate about working with animals. I've cared for my family dog for the past 16 years, gaining experience with everything from daily walks to gentle training. Over the years, I’ve helped countless friends and relatives with their dogs, whether it’s house-sitting, basic obedience, or just giving them lots of affection. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’d love the chance to spend more time around pups, giving them the love, snuggles, and care they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work a flexible schedule, which means I can offer consistent attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. Whether it’s early morning snuggles, midday strolls, or evening check-ins, I make sure your pet feels loved and cared for as part of my daily rhythm. When caring for pets in your home, I always prioritize your pet’s comfort and routine. I respect your space, follow your instructions closely, and take time to build trust with your pet so they feel safe and relaxed. I’m attentive to their body language, stick to feeding and potty schedules, and double-check doors, gates, and leashes to ensure they’re secure and happy at all times.

“We were so fortunate to find Debra and lucky enough to have her house sit / pet sit our dog Rex for us twice with another stay on the calendar. We are looking forward to a longstanding relationship. Debra's attention to detail is very much appreciated. From administering medication to walks, talks and belly rubs. Our home as managed as specified, errands run and a happy dog. Communication is so very important and Debra is great. Photos of Rex daily, so very enjoyable. Crystal”

David K.
“David is amazing with animals, truly a cat whisperer. I’ve never been so comfortable leaving my fur babies with someone knowing they will be loved and cared for every day. My two kitties are somewhat skittish and have been completely social with David because of the time and care that he shows them each and every day. I highly recommend David for any needs you have regarding taking care of your loved pets.”

Susannah B.
“Susannah is the epitome of a kind, personable, lover of all creatures. Her calm nature makes everyone feel welcomed and cared for and she has a knack for connecting with animals big and small. She's spent ample time with our dog, Leon, and he still gets ridiculously excited if he sees her or if we even just say her name. Having volunteered doing relief work in various places around the globe, she also worked as a babysitter and lifeguard to put herself through college, then turned her attention to tending to plants, both as a farmer and landscape designer. Paying attention to others is her specialty. She also happens to be very punctual, trustworthy, and more than fair in her interactions with people. Every dog and their owner should be so lucky as to have Susannah take care of them. We can't recommend her highly enough.”

“Brooke is absolutely amazing! We've been using her over the last two years to watch our precious bulldog. She is kind, responsible and treats my fur baby like her own. I won't use anyone else! She's even great in an emergency, we were out of state and our dog had a severe hot spot so Brooke took her to the vet and cared for her until the end of our vacation. I can't say enough about her! She's the best!”

Santa Fe dog parents share their Rover experiences
Russell provided great care for our dog Blizzy! He was quick to respond to not only our inquiry, but also with photos and communication throughout the stay. We were able to visit the home at drop off and asked questions around Blizzy's diet, allergies, toy preference, behaviors; the care to detail was obvious. Would absolutely use him again to watch our Pets! Thanks again Russell!
