“Sylvia has been walking our dogs over lunch once a week for the last couple weeks and it's been so great. She gives us updates on how the walks went and pictures. She is patient with my shy, nervous dog, so he's starting to get more comfortable with her, which is really nice and was originally a big concern for us. Thanks, Sylvia!”

“Tyler is awesome! Our dog loves him and gets along great with his two pups who are angels. Since Tyler is a trainer he also provides so much amazing feedback for our pup. We look forward to booking him repeatedly! Thanks Tyler!”

“Vanessa was absolutely wonderful—so sweet and attentive to our needs! From the moment we met her, we knew our dogs would be in the best hands. She showed incredible patience and care, especially knowing that one of our dogs needed a little extra attention. We felt completely at ease leaving them with her, and will definitely be rebooking whenever we need someone again!”

About: Growing up, I was surrounded by lots of dogs—big and small. I am comfortable assessing how a dog will react based on their personalities and temperaments. I’m currently working part time, so I have lots of availability during the work week! As an animal lover, this job feels like the perfect fit. I have a fenced in yard and three dogs (2 dashchunds and a golden retriever) at home to keep your puppy company. I also have crates if needed.

About: I’ve been an animal owner on and off throughout my entire life. For the past two years, I’ve been caring for both small and large animals, including but not limited to four dogs, several goats, a pony, some pigs, and a whole bunch of chickens. I am comfortable with the varied temperaments and personalities of different animals, but at the end of the day they all need the same things: love, nurturing, food, shelter, and some enriching activity. I can perform basic training with dogs and puppies as long as there are ample training treats. Sit, stay, down, spin, and shake are included. I can administer oral medications to dogs, be it in peanut butter or simply placing in their mouth. I can brush your dog for as long as they want. Living on an open ranch allows me to offer these things to new animal friends. I’d love to take care of your furry friend for the day! I am currently available 7 days a week for dog walking, and I am available Monday-Friday for overnight house sitting. I work part time at my friend’s ranch, which takes 2-3 hours of my day. Outside of that I am available during regular work hours for dog walking and dog sitting. My schedule is very open. I am gentle, patient, and nurturing to all animals. I can be assertive as needed, and I build great relationships with other people’s furry friends. I have four other dogs and a variety of other animals living on the property where I reside. Each animal has their own distinct personality, but all are extremely friendly and love making new friends.

“Damaris was great. Available on short notice and very responsive and took my dog out to his favorite park for some much needed play time. Thank you Damaris! Would definitely book again and recommend!”

About: I have two cats, Mochi and Princess, and two dogs—Missy, a French Bulldog, and Yoka, an English Bulldog. I've been working as a surgical assistant at a veterinary hospital for nearly four years. In my role, I monitor patients under anesthesia and support them through the recovery process. I’m also experienced in administering medication to both cats and dogs. Animals are truly my passion, and I’m deeply committed to providing the highest level of care to every animal I encounter. I’m always here for all pet parents and committed to giving every fur baby the care, love, and attention they truly deserve. What you need i am here. My yard is fully fenced and divided into two safe turf-covered areas—perfect for playtime! Whether your pet needs help with crate training or just wants a cozy spot in bed, I’m happy to make them feel right at home.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 10 years old. Be it if they are wild and free or couch surfers, your pet will always be loved like if they are family. I am blessed enough to work from home so your pets will always have someone to look after them. Belly rubs demands will always be met as well as any needs they might have. I have a fenced in front yard and backyard to provide freedom when the jitters are jittering or nature is calling. With enough room to play fetch if that is their cup of tea. I also have experience with senior dogs and being on a routine if medications are needed. If your dog needs the safety of a crate because they can be anxious I also have one and can easily provide and accommodate any needs within reason.

About: Hello Rover parents, feel free to call me ALLEY. You’ve probably seen me on their competitor's app, but I came here because I heard great things about Rover. I previously had a miniature poodle, Siberian husky, and blue heeler. I have a 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback who's a gentle giant. I feel comfortable with all-sized dogs and walking three dogs with three different personalities. If your pup is active or lazy, I can be either. Regardless, I'm sure we will have fun. Available 24/7 for joyful walks and wagging tails. Let me know your pup's preference or your pup, and I will explore. I used to be an avid hiker with my previous dog. I'm somewhat active. OC Boarding I provide a fenced backyard, two dog beds, dog bowls, and a king-size bed (I know some dogs prefer to be on the bed); dogs are allowed on a couch/ bed. Available to accommodate owner preferences, including running, hiking (walks), visits to dog parks, and outings to dog-friendly beaches. SD Boarding Same services but I do not have a fenced backyard. I have a spacious townhome.

About: I've had pets from when I was a child until now. From multiple size/age dogs, to cats, and chickens! Your pets are safe with us! I'm looking forward to meeting you as im currently doing this full time! I can match your routine timeframes as needed, just let me know when potty/walks normally are. | have a son and two friendly (female) dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed as well.

About: I’ve had experience taking care of my aunts dog while she does away to travel. The dog I care for is 6 years old. However I’ve taken care of one of my dogs since he was 6 weeks old and my other since he 7 months old. My schedule is open besides regularly scheduled appointments Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am. There are plenty of hours in the day to stop by and take care of your pup as needed. I try to make it a habit of feeding them before I start eating my food and keeping them as close as possible to their normal schedule. Some days will be different but to keep the pup at ease I’d like to keep up with their routine but also create trust with pets and treats!

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and spending time with them. Taking care of pets and playing with them comes naturally to me, and I truly enjoy making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the day on both weekdays and weekends. Whether you need morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening care, I can adapt to your pet’s needs and your routine. I have a large, secure backyard where your dog can safely run and play. I also have a friendly dog that can help keep your pet entertained, but if your pet prefers to be alone, I can easily keep them separated. I prioritize a clean, safe, and loving environment where your pet can feel at home.

About: I truly believe that caring for animals is one of the most rewarding experiences life can offer, and I bring not only responsibility and patience—but genuine love and respect—to every pet I care for. I’ve always had an immense amount of patience, which I think is one of the most important traits when working with animals. I’ve nurtured my senior dog through his final days, which taught me deep compassion, gentleness, and how to adjust care to meet the needs of an aging or ill animal. I've also rescued a terrified kitten from a shelter—she scratched me out of fear at first, but with time, calm energy, and consistency, she eventually trusted me. That moment when an animal lets their guard down and chooses to trust you—it’s honestly indescribable. It’s like a silent bond that forms, and it makes all the effort worth it. Since I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Life took me through school, and as a recent graduate, I’ve had to balance my goals with financial realities, but that hasn’t stopped me from pursuing my passion for animals in other ways. While I’m not in a clinic yet, I still want to be around animals as much as possible—to learn from them, to care for them, and to understand their unique personalities. That’s what excites me most about pet sitting: the opportunity to meet animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments—each one a new experience and connection. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, a calming walk, a slow introduction for shy pets, or just laying quietly together while they nap—I adjust based on what makes them feel most safe and happy. My goal is always to ensure that not only are they well cared for, but that they feel truly comfortable and understood in my presence. This isn't just a job for me—it's a meaningful way to stay close to a lifelong passion. I'm so excited about the opportunity to be a part of your pet's life, even if just for a little while. I work a hybrid schedule at UC San Diego - this allows me to work from any setting during my at home days and I have an open morning availability in the weekends and if needed I’d be more than happy to do evenings during the weekends. I would take the time to ensure the best possibe time for your pet by ensuring that all doors are locked, food and water bowls are filled, sanitary pad/litter boxes are cleaned and checked and to ensure the proper amount of walking is giving to your pet while maintaining full supervision and awareness of surroundings during exercise.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by many animals. I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats that I help care for. I used to work at PetSmart where I helped care for the store pets, as well as, helping pet parents. I also did volunteer work for a couple years at a dog shelter where I used to feed them, walk them, take them to a dog park to play with them, bathe them, and clean up after them. One of my dogs got pregnant 2 years ago and I help deliver her puppies and took care of all 5 puppies for months before they were old enough and found loving homes for them. I currently work at the mall. I am an assistant manager at Spencer’s. I am more than available to stop by for drop in visits before and after work. I am also available to do home visits and stay at the home at the times that I am not working. My typical pet care routine is feeding my cat around 9am, I feed our 3 dogs that we have in our backyard whom have a lot of free space to fun around and play, then I occasionally feed my sisters’ cats if they need the help. On my days off my cat typically likes to hang around me and just sleep most of the day, but on the days that I work I will feed her dinner around 7pm.

I have experience with puppies, seniors, disabled & specials needs animals, cats, dogs, birds, and tortoises. We’re a very active family & we have more animal friends than we do human friends. We quite like it that way. We have a big yard and two frenchies who live a chill but active lifestyle. We live in a safe neighborhood & love going on our daily walks.

About: I been taking care of dogs for a lot of time, I really enjoy to take a walk with dogs even if they are puppy’s I had a several dogs having puppies and I had take care of them. Alia N.
“Alia has lovingly cared for our dogs, goats, cows, cats, chickens, pigs, and horses at S&S Friendly Ranch for years. She knows each animal’s quirks—who likes extra scratches, who sneaks snacks, and who demands the prime napping spot. Alia is endlessly reliable, full of heart, and makes sure every creature, big or small, feels safe, loved, and spoiled in the best way possible.”

Damaris A.

“Damaris was great. Available on short notice and very responsive and took my dog out to his favorite park for some much needed play time. Thank you Damaris! Would definitely book again and recommend!”

Ethan C.
“Ethan would be a good candidate for rover since he has been working with Animals as a vet tech. He cares for animals and pets as if they were his own. He treats them like family. He has a lot of respect for every kid of furry animals. He loves to play with them and take them to walks because it creates bonding moments amongst them. Even my frenchie loves him since the first time he met him. They get along so well that he takes care of my frenchie when I go out of town for work. I highly recommend Ethan to be part of Rover Family.”

Kenia S.

“Alley's amazing care for my pet, Bubby, has been a true blessing! Her attention to detail, genuine affection, and reliability have given me peace of mind whenever Bubby needed care. Her bond with her own dog was a heartwarming display of love and dedication and gave me confidence Alley was the right sitter. Alley's passion for pets, coupled with her extraordinary pet parenting skills make her a remarkable and trustworthy caregiver and I'd recommend her to everyone.”

Zaiel B.

“Excellent communication, reliable, and Zaiel is great with my dog!”

Timothy H.
“As Tim’s wife, I can confidently say that his love for dogs runs deep. He’s been caring for them since he was young. When we moved overseas, we originally had just one dog, but during our time abroad, we adopted Yuki, a special pup who had been passed between at least five homes due to medical issues and the challenges of international pet travel. Despite all that, Tim didn’t hesitate, he made sure Yuki came home with us to San Diego. Five years later, she’s still with us: happy, healthy, and thriving. That’s the level of commitment and care Tim gives to every dog he meets. If you’re looking for a sitter who will treat your dog like family, give them personalized attention, and ensure they feel safe and loved, Tim is absolutely your guy.”
