“Michelle was great with our anxious senior pup! He has separation anxiety and she created a very calming environment for him to hang out at and had a great system to ensure that he was comfortable. She was communicative and easy to plan with. We’ll definitely book with her again!”

“She's great. My dog has never been with anyone but family and she is able to comfort him. With my schedule changing, it is wonderful having her as a backup for work. Like I said, she's great.”

“Vanessa was able to do a meet and greet with my pup before the daycare visit, which I appreciated! She was quick with communicating with me leading up to drop off. My pup came home tired which is exactly what I needed!”

“Kenia was awesome! I needed dog sitting for a few hours while out of town. She communicated quickly, which I appreciate. When we showed up, she greeted my dog so warmly that I knew he would be in good hands. We would definitely go back to her if in the area.”

“Our dog Ziggy loves going to Josh's! Josh has a perfect outdoor and indoor set up and gives Zig lots of attention and love while he's there. Ziggy always comes back super happy.”

About: I have had pets since I was born. I raised small breed dogs (family dogs) when I was younger and went in to raise 2 large breed dogs at my current age. I have trained my dogs since they were puppies and have often received compliments on their behavior. They enjoy time outside, snuggles on the couch, and homemade treats. All of which I’d offer to any dog in my care. I have a spacious home with plenty of room to run around. I am skilled in giving medication to all sizes and ages. My Aussie is not keen on meds so I’ve had to learn ways to get around that. I love all animals and someday hope to have a farm once my husband retires from the Navy. I do not work. My husband is the worker. I’m the homemaker. So I have plenty of time to do drop ins, check ins, etc and will not leave your dog for long periods of time. I have my own car, so I’m able to make it from point A to B without issue. I also have a routine that my own dogs follow, so I’m up everyday by 8am. I have 2 crates already located in my home. I hsve 2 dogs of my own. A female pitbull (Erza) and a male Aussie (Killua). I have a garage that I allow them to run around in for exercise (I’m working on making it into a doggy play room for my dogs, but it’s large so it’d fit up to 8 dogs). I have have 3 Furbo cameras in my home, so on the off chance I have to not be home I am able to view them on camera. I can also send recordings as needed.
“Such a great experience! We previously brought our dog to a daycare facility, and recently took her to Charlie and Shanna’s for the first time. They were super responsive via message and even had a phone call with us since we couldn’t do an initial meet and greet. They’re extremely flexible, and it’s so clear how much they care for your pet. Couldn’t recommend them enough!”

“Chau was so helpful with our two dogs and very patient with our anxious one. She was so communicative and updated us with pictures multiple times a day. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Adrian was amazing! She was super flexible with my changing plans. I love that she gave a full update at the end of the stay so I knew he was in good hands! Totally recommend:)”

About: Hello! I’m a Zoology student working toward becoming a veterinarian and a Military Conservation Agent veteran. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, including emergency care and working alongside veterinarians, and I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. With my background, I can also provide informed medical guidance when needed. I’m especially a great fit if your dog needs extra care—such as medical support or recovery monitoring. I can administer medications, closely track their condition, and offer cross-border vet services to Mexico, either accompanying you or independently taking your dog for care. My goal is to keep your dog safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. As a full-time student, I work around my class schedule and maintain a high level of flexibility. My only fixed commitments are my lab sessions, but outside of those times, I can adjust my availability to fit your needs, including early mornings, evenings, and most daytime hours. I have professional experience handling high-drive even dangerous animals, including wolfdogs and wildlife. I know how to manage strong breeds safely and calmly. I respect your home and property. I use professional handling techniques to ensure safety during walks, and I am fully capable of providing basic medical care and behavioral support if any issues arise during my stay."
“My furbaby has really bad separation anxiety and Lisa was so sweet and wonderful that the next day he ran right up to her excited to spend another day with her. She's loving and will treat your baby like her own!”

“Kaitlin and Verle are great, they’re very nice and communicative. My puppy enjoyed his day there and you can tell they care about giving your dog the best day possible with them. I’d recommend them!”

“Zaira was very sweet with comforting Rosie who was a bit sad when mom and dad left for a bit but we loved the updates and pics and felt safe knowing she was getting love while we were out!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - San Ysidro
Vanessa was absolutely amazing. We contacted her needing a sitter immediately after booking with another person who ghosted us after agreeing to watch the girls. She answered immediately and 15 minutes later our babies were with Vanessa. She kept us up with photos and updates throughout the day. We ran into traffic 2.5 hours of LA TRAFFIC and knowing we were going to be late she was so sweet and accommodating with our situation. WE COULD NOT HAVE PICKED A MORE PERFECT SITTER! We will definitely use her as our permanent sitter.
