“We were so thankful for Lela! And our big, loud dog loved her! She’s easy going and accommodated our last minute change of plans. Thank you so much! We will definitely book with her again.”

“Dani exceeded our expectations while taking care of our cat. She was very reliable and left the house looking tidy. She played with our cat and took care of his food, water, and litter boxes. We highly recommend her for cat care!”

“Kristina was awesome! She watched my cat Tikka for me on a very last minute request and sent me updates every day! Definitely recommend, all of her animals were super cute and sweet and Tikka came home happy and with new friends!”

“Axel was great! They went above and beyond, sending multiple photos of our sweet boy a day. I truly appreciated the care to detail and kindness Axel showed our kitty. It made our trip more enjoyable knowing we could we had someone we could trust spending time with Adrian. Would definitely book Axel again!”

“I needed to board two of my cats and am so happy to have found Kyra. Since they are indoor/outdoor cats it didn't feel right to kennel them at a veterinarian boarding location. At Kyra's they had the entire living room and were able to sleep on the couch. The cats were happy when I picked them up even though they couldn't go outdoors for obvious reasons. I highly recommend Kyra and would book her again for boarding or housesitting once my old cats have accepted the new ones.”

“Victoria was a great help taking care of my senior cat while I was away. She responded quickly, sent photos each day, did an excellent job with cat care, and respected our living space. I would recommend her to a friend without hesitation.”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, and grew up with multiple cats and dogs around me at all times. I've always loved animals and found joy in caring for them, including walking, playing, bathing, and feeding. I have experience caring for dogs and cats from ages 0-17, including providing special routines and administering medicine. I'm currently working part-time in the area, so I will have plenty of time to meet new animals. My schedule is quite flexible at the moment, so I am available most days. For me, a pet's health and happiness take precedence, so I always treat a pet as if they were my own, giving them all the attention they deserve. Some pets can be shy, so I always try and meet them where they are comfortable.

About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.

“Makaia is awesome! She took amazing care of my little fur baby! I was stuck working a long shift at work, and was worried my puppy wouldn’t get enough exercise for the day, so she offered to bring over her pug to play! Makaia sent me pictures, so I could see how much fun my puppy was having, and is always very quick to respond! I would definitely recommend her!!”

“Fantastic sitter! Always highly recommend. Communicative and good with my cats, I can tell she really cares about them and they always love to see her.”

Tamara M.
“I know it’s hard to be away from your fur pups, but just when you think there is no doggy day care that “will care for my babies like I do”……there is a solution, it’s Tamara. She has been caring for my pups like they are her own. The fun takes place at her home and in her yard. One on one care, naps when they need it, treats and so much play time. It’s truly their home away from home. My Weimaraner mix has been with her for almost one year and I just rescued a senior Yorkie who, thankfully, blended into the fur family with Tamara’s experienced love, touch and supervision. My pups can’t wait to get there in the mornings!! I have never once worried about their care.”

Paige looked in our kittehs for 3 days and was absolutely great. She was kind and personable when she visited ahead of them to meet them, and the girls received excellent care and lots of attention. She shared really cute photos of each visit. We will definitely rebook with her in the future! 🙂
