About: Hello! I’m a long time pet lover and house sitter (of my own place) I have interacted with many pets of my friends and worked at animal shelters. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! Until then, I guess I’ll just pet sit…. I work from home on most days, so my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to look after pets such as spending quality time, potty breaks, exercising via walks and playing with cat toys. When I care for pets in their home, I take care to read all of the instructions and look after the home. This can include administering medications, accommodating different diets and walking styles (such as the slow walkers, the sniffers, the neighborhood watchers). I make sure to leave the home the way I found it because that is what I would like if I was the pet parent.

About: As a person who has been the primary care taker of my pets since I was 8, I know the right way to take care of animals and know how hard it can be to find quality care for our furry friends. With 2 cats of my own and with several previously owned dogs, I know I can provide excellent care to all kinds of animals! I also have a Veterinary Assisting degree, so also being able to alert owners of any health issues to be wary of is something I take seriously! Pet care is a daily task, as such I am able to do daily walks and be able to do other care tasks throughout the day so that your pet feels enriched and loved even when you’re away. I understand dog behavior to a good degree as I studied it while in school to earn my degree, so being able to safely walk a dog even if they are reactive is something I feel comfortable with.

About: Please Read All Before Contacting: I am currently only available for overnight stays from 5:00pm- 7:30am during the weekdays and am available for an extended time frame on the weekends and holidays for an extended rate fee. For all bookings I require a meet and great before the booking dates. This free meet and greet will last around 30 mins so I can meet the fur baby and the family, get acquainted to your home and pets life style. We will talk about the needs during the meet and greet. I will take notes, but I do require for written information or instructions to either be sent to me or left at the home for me. I will not accept a booking without a meet and greet. These are very important to make sure we are a right fit for each other. Keeps everyone safe and at ease. ALSO: Your time and my time and communication are very important to me. When we schedule a meet and greet please be sure that you are certain that you do require my services and are able to meet. Please, communicate with me if your plans have changed in a timely manner and I will do the same. Failure of communications prevents other fur parents to reach out to me regarding care for their fur babies for those dates. I have spent 17 years taking care of all kinds of doggies and kitties. Before becoming an Independent contractor on Rovers platform I would care for coworkers and friends pets in their home during their vacations or business trips. I have established trust with many people. I Love these fur babies like my own. Enjoy building this bond with them that lasts a lifetime. I will only sit in your fur babies home where they are in their element and feel most comfortable. This also means that you get a house sitter caring for your home as well. I like to make sure that I leave the space as clean or cleaner than when I arrived . This means that I will be cleaning up after myself and the fur babies when I am there. I love being active and will provide your fur baby with the necessary mental and physical stimulation they needs. I will take care of your fur babies and your home like my own. About: I’m not just someone who pauses to care for your pet; my love for animals goes beyond measure. I’m committed to ensuring that the time I spend with them exceeds all expectations. I’m a graphic designer - most work I do is from home. So my schedule is very flexible and on the go! I can work and sit in while watching your animal! 😀 I have a dog myself - she is hardly ever caged and is trained to stay out and behave accordingly. She is very energetic. But LOVES people and other animals.

About: I am a nurse finishing Nurse Practitioner school taking time to focus on studies and family. I love to play and give lovings to them! I am currently finishing my degree to become a family nurse practitioner, so I am pretty open. I am available after 7:30 in the mornings. I have a cat who is very spoiled and loved. I make sure to spend time with pets and make sure they feel loved and safe.

About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!

About: I’m the person who talks to your dog on the sidewalk in a funny voice. I fur babies & I’ve had pets my entire life. I am a full time mom to a sweet 6 year old son. Being outside and walking pups is our favorite thing to do together! I promise I will take great care of your fluffy family member and I look forward to meeting & cuddling them soon! I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of wiggle room for checking in on your fluffy family member and loving them and giving them cuddles and walks and food or whatever they need that day. I’m so excited to meet the love of your life. I live on a large piece of property so if your baby can be off leash, I can have them off leash comfortably or if you prefer they be on leash I can do that too. There is plenty of room for lots of exercise. I have a very friendly, one year-old dog and a very friendly three-year-old cat. They love other animals! I also have a six-year-old son and he is an animal lover as well. If your Animal doesn’t like kids or other animals, I’m probably not a good fit. But I do not have my son on the weekends so I could pet sit for you on the weekends when my son is not around if your pet doesn’t like kids. I’m so looking forward to meeting your fluffy family member!

About: For many years I've been my family and friends go-to animal sitter and daytime/evening caregiver. I take pride in their trust in me caring for their babies. I have two fur babies of my own. My availability to provide animal care outside of my home is Saturday and Sunday during the day or extended evening hours with the occasional holiday. I work remotely Monday-Friday, I’m happy to accommodate your pets needs during the hours of, 6pm-10pm, Monday-Friday. Also, experienced in administering medications not limited to injections such as insulin, subcutaneous fluids, etc. Each service can be customized to your needs and discussed over the phone in terms of caring for multiple animals at your home. Trust is a significant factor when it comes to putting your animals in someone else's care, it's important to follow any instruction that you leave me for your pet while always keeping you updated and taking your pets safety first and foremost. All of my clients and animals are treated as I would expect my animals and myself to be treated. They become my family when I care for them. I am also very knowledgeable about toxic materials including plants, food, etc. For birds, dogs and cats. I am cautious and constantly aware of my surroundings. I prefer to be preventative when it comes to animal care.

About: Lifelong pet owner and animal intuitive. I have worked with all types of pets providing assistance with special care in addition to walks and general care. Care only provided in your home. At this time I do not have a pet companion but miss them dearly. Once I have an established routine in the area I will be in search of another furry walking companion. I am relocating back to the WNC / Landrum area after being a nomad for 5 years. I am available throughout the Saluda, Hendersonville and Landrum area and am doing human caregiving throughout the WNC area. If your dog agrees I am open to taking them on local hikes. About: I have been working with animals for the past five years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. Your animal is safe with me; you don't have to worry. I aim to make open and transparent communication my top priority. If something goes wrong or your animal gets sick I will always contact you.
