About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.

About: I grew up with a mini Pomeranian, such a fun and hyper little dog! Now, I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Shayla, she is my big baby and the best cuddle buddy. I am familiar with topical and oral medications, as Shayla has a skin condition that makes her very itchy and uncomfortable. I care for her like she is my child. I am very excited to meet, greet, and play with different doggies. I will give them all the time and attention they deserve while you are away. About: Hey there Rover. My pet-sitting journey started with caring for friends' and family's animals before joining Rover. After taking a break to raise my own little ones, I'm excited to be back! I look forward to keeping your furry family members safe, happy, and well cared for! I have a daytime job Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., so pets in my care should be comfortable during those hours. Outside of work, I'm available for walks, playtime, drop-in visits, and plenty of attention. To provide the best care and flexibility, I only accept Rover bookings during the weeks my children are with their dad. This allows me to fully focus on your pets and their routines while you're away. I can not board pets as my partners German Shepherd is territorial! But, basically I try to keep the same house rules as the owner.

My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”
