About: I grew up being around dogs my whole life. We typically had at least 2 and they have always been treated as family members. I lived with a cat in college and brought my own baby home shortly after. We have two cats at home, and I would love to spend even more time with animals!! I work full time and live in the same city. Depending on the weekend, I don’t typically have a lot going on and would love to be around animals more. I am pretty active so I would gladly take walks! We have two cats that are strictly indoor. They basically have free rein of the house. I understand that pets can be reserved around unknown people, so I am willing to build that trust and just hang out if needed.

About: I have been animal sitting, more specifically dog sitting for two years consistently now, but have taken care of animals for 10 years. I tend to take on extended stays, which include taking care of the home. The longest stay I’ve had was two months for two sweet yorkies. Not only can I take good care of your animals, but my job as a nanny has honed my house keeping skills! I have two mini Aussie-doodles and an orange cat at home, my pride and joys :) all animals deserve a lot of love, and doing this job is a total win for us both! I am timely, clean, organized, and I LOVE taking soooo many pictures of all of the animals I get to meet. Meaning I will be sending you lots of photos you can treasure while you are away and when you get back! I am available for boarding any day of the week! I work 7:30-3 PM on Monday-Thursday, and 7:30-1:30 PM on Friday. I do not get a lunch break, so the animal would need to get through the day without being let out until after the above times. I am not busy without my out of work lifestyle, meaning I would be in the home (for boarding) when I am not at work. This would exclude time for going to the gym. Drop in’s are available any time I am not at work! After chatting and meeting with my clients, we will find the perfect routine for your fur baby! I understand each animal has a different daily routine and has different needs, so I can accommodate to that! I ensure quiet, playful, and gentle environments with lots of pets, cuddles and attention to keep the animals stimulated and happy.

About: I have professional experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs in both daycare and boarding environments. My responsibilities included supervising groups of dogs, providing meals and medications when needed, maintaining clean and safe play areas, giving dogs individual attention, and making sure each pet was comfortable and well cared for during their stay. I also have experience grooming dogs, including bathing, brushing, drying, and general coat care. Working in a professional pet-care environment taught me how to handle dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs while keeping their safety and happiness a priority. work full-time in the afternoons and evenings, so I have great availability for pet care during the mornings and early afternoons. I’m also available on my days off and can work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. Before every booking I do a meet and greet so we can go over your pet's routine, quirks, medical needs, and anything that makes them nervous. I want to know where the leash lives and what your vet's number is before you ever leave. You'll get daily photo updates, and I'm always reachable if something comes up.

Makayla was absolutely wonderful—super sweet and thorough when she came to meet our cat and go over all of the instructions. While we were away, she checked in every day with thoughtful notes and the cutest photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. About: When I was 8 years old, some of classmates in school started talking to me about their pet cats they had. It was at that moment I knew I wanted a cat too, so I went home and begged my parents relentlessly to let me get a cat. After a few days my mom budged and she took me to the pet store to take home a new fuzzy friend and he remained my best friend for the next 12 years. We took on another cat a few years after getting the first one and I made sure that both them were equally loved and today have 3 of them. My mother did pet sitting for multiple years, primarily dog sitting at our house, with a few house visits for cats that I joined with. I helped with administering medications, cleaning litter-boxes, and playing with the cats. I frequent cat cafes often and I always stop for stray cats I find when I'm traveling. The cats I meet seem to be magnetized to me and always seem very happy to see me despite never having met them before. When I travel, my cats will sit outside my room door and meow loudly to be let in, and then when they are let in and realize I am not in there, they mope around and bug my mother instead. My schedule is very open because I am in the process of looking for work as a SCUBA Diving Instructor. I am available all 7 days of the week and almost any time of the day. I understand that it's easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle than it is to get a cat to do something it doesn't want to do. I understand cat behavior and body language, and the importance of respecting their boundaries. I'm willing to brush, feed, play with, provide medications, clean litter-boxes, and any other needs that your cat has.
