About: My family dog passed away in 2024, since then I’ve filled my doggy-shaped hole by volunteering at Coco’s Heart (dog rescue) and house/dog sitting for families in my area. I work from home, so I’m able to give your animals their much-deserved attention throughout the day! My experience ranges from young puppies just brought to rescue, teenage dogs, to senior dogs, all needing special attention in their own ways. I am punctual with medications, meals and bathroom breaks. I currently work from home, and while house sitting am able to provide around the clock care. For walks or part-time, my schedule may vary slightly. Maintaining and respecting my client’s home is of upmost importance when caring for pets. Keeping not only their environment clean and safe, but the owners as well is important to what I offer. Whether it’s expected or not, I will leave the place the same, if not better than you left it. I strive for frequent communication and avoid outside environments that may stress pets out.
“Valerie took Kodak on some adventures this week! She’s so flexible and willing to try new things to keep our puppy entertained and happy. She took him swimming at a lake and some public lands for new scenery. Valerie is proactive and super informed about our pets needs and health. Kodak loves hanging with her :)”

“Lulu loves walks with Alexandra. She is patient with our Lulu and goes above and beyond. She even brought up our garbage cans. We recommend Alexandra 1000% and will book with her again!”

About: I recently retired early, sold my small business, and am excited to spend more time doing something that has always been a big part of my life - caring for and loving animals. I have been a pet mom and caregiver for many years, looking after furry friends of every age, personality, and quirk. I have 2 kitties, one who is an outgoing crazy character and the other sweet and shy. We sadly lost our Goldendoodle recently and I'd love to share cuddles and walks with your dog(s). I am reliable, patient and calm - and treat every pet with the same affection and care I give my own. I recently retired so my schedule is very flexible for daily drop-ins, overnight stays, walks, playtime, and cuddles. Have a last-minute trip or unexpected work meeting? I have the time and treats! When caring for your pets, I put their safety and comfort first. With many years of experience caring for pets, I know that each is unique, with different personalities and comfort level with new people. I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is for everything to feel just as safe, calm, and familiar as when you are there. I follow your routines closely, keep your home tidy, and pay attention to all of the little things that help your pet feel secure. What sets me apart is that during my career, I traveled quite a bit and hired pet sitters to stay with my kitties and dog. I know, from a client's perspective, what was important to me and my fur babies. I will send you daily updates and photos (unless that's not your preference), so you and your pets can feel completely comfortable and stress-free.

From bouncy puppies who need patience and consistency to sweet senior pups who enjoy a slower pace, I love them all. I’m happy to help with basic training, stick to routines, and make sure every pet gets plenty of love, attention, and tail wags while you’re away I’m in school, but I make plenty of time for pets! I can fit walks, playtime, and care into my daily and weekly schedule, so every pet gets attention, love, and fun while I balance school. I keep pets safe, happy, and comfy wherever they are! In your home, I follow your instructions and make sure they have food, water, and lots of love. In my home, I create a cozy, pet-friendly space with plenty of supervision, cuddles, and fun so every pet feels safe and cared for

About: I've been taking care of people's cats and dogs alike ever since I was a teenager around the Edina neighborhood. I moved to Woodbury around 2019 where I adopted a cat. I grew up with dogs but I've wanted a cat too so now I'd say I'm proficient with both cats and dogs. I work part-time. I have flexible schedule on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.so I'm pretty much available all day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I'm available to stay overnight if that is a need for the pet. I always make sure to establish trust between myself and the pet and the pet parent. I also understand animals need time to adjust to new people and every animal is different. Some also need more space to adjust and I'm that person that will give the time and space the animal needs.

I love to spoil all dogs and make sure they know they are loved and cared for! I am currently only working weekends, so I will have plenty of time to play and care for your pup! I am open during the day throughout summer M-F. We have an invisible fenced yard and I am always keeping an eye on my dogs, especially if they are outside! If I am walking the dogs I make sure their leash is attached at all times! I am a very trustworthy person. I am always taking the best care of my pups. I feel that safety and trust is very important when caring for animals.

I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your furry friends! I’m most available Mondays, Fridays, and weekends, and I’m also available for morning and evening visits Tuesday through Thursday! It is important to me to follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions you provide. About: Hi! My name is Ashley. I am originally from Superior. We just recently moved to Woodbury from Appleton. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs and the level of care and communication I provide. I’ve had dogs my entire life, including hands-on experience caring for a diabetic dog, so I’m comfortable with medication routines, special diets, and consistent care. I’m confident with high-energy dogs and patient with puppies and seniors who need a gentler pace. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home often and able to provide attentive, structured care, along with regular updates and photos so you always feel at ease. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are very open for walks and drop-in visits, as I’m home and have a flexible schedule on those days. Tuesdays and Thursdays also work well when my schedule is open, and I’m happy to communicate availability in advance. Weekends are often available as well and may vary slightly depending on my family’s schedule, but I do my best to remain flexible whenever possible. Overnight care is also something I’m excited to offer when my schedule allows, as I understand how comforting it can be for pets to stay in their own home while their owners are away. I’m always happy to discuss scheduling needs and will be clear and communicative to ensure the best care for your pets. I care for pets as if they were my own, closely following their routine and your instructions. In your home, I focus on consistent feeding, walks, medications, and any special care needs. For walks and drop-ins, I make sure each visit includes quality time, attention, exercise, and affection, not just a quick stop.
About: My pet/house sitting adventures have taken me across the country, from Oregon to Hawaii to South Carolina. I have cared for a variety of breeds and personalities, from high-energy pups to mellow seniors, and I enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique quirks and routines. Our family absolutely loves animals, but we do not have any of our own. We love welcoming special guests into our home and giving them 100% of our love and attention while they’re with us ❤ We also enjoy caring for pets in their own homes, where they may feel most comfortable. I'm attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and special care instructions, and I’m comfortable with everything from daily walks to medication administration. We’re a blended family with one child (age 14) who lives with us half the time, and two children (ages 8 and 4) who are here full-time. They're gentle and very respectful of animals, and they love to help when families and pets are comfortable with it. Depending on your preferences (and your pet’s comfort level), my kids may join me for some or none of the time. We’re flexible and will prioritize what helps your pet feel relaxed and loved. Thank you for your time! I’ve worked remotely for 14 years, which gives me the flexibility to provide care either in my home or yours. I’m typically available on weekdays and many weekends, too. We do not have a fenced-in yard, however, our family loves to spend time outdoors and go on walks. We would love to include your pet(s) in our adventures, if you're comfortable with us doing so!
About: I’ve spent years caring for my own pets, ensuring they’re happy and healthy. I’ve looked after my grandma's cat multiple times and other puppies and kitties for friends. I stand out from other sitters because of my deep passion for animals and my hands-on experience. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I take the time to understand each pet's unique needs. I love to give extensive play-times when possible, and lots of pets! Whether it’s administering medication for senior pets or providing a nurturing environment for lonely kitties, I’m committed to giving your furry friends the best care possible. I'm currently working part-time as well as attending university, so my schedule may be busy, but I am more than willing to work around it to accommodate for proper pet care. My Sundays are always open and Fridays are usually open as well. Let's work something out! I live in a safe, well-secured apartment complex beside a golf course, so plenty of room to give walks if needed. I also have two kitties with separate rooms, based on if your furry friend needs company or just some alone time! I am committed to ensuring that every pet is happy and healthy and feels safe in its environment.
About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and abilities through volunteering and pet sitting. While I’ve only formally trained my own dogs, I’ve gained plenty of real-world knowledge by working with everything from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups who need a gentler touch. I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely passionate about making pets feel loved, safe, and happy while their humans are away. Whether it's a long walk, some playtime, or just quiet cuddles, I tailor my care to each pet’s needs—because every animal deserves to feel at home, even when they’re not! I work full time but fully remote from my home office so I am available for morning, lunch, or after work walks or feeds when you are rushing to get to work or travel. I typically do not care for pets in my own home as my dog is picky about which dogs are around and I don't want to put anyone at risk. I am happy to come to you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
