“Jessica was great! We were out of town 4 nights, and then our flight got delayed and she was able to adjust her schedule to stay a 5th night to take care of our dog. She sent photos and updates at least twice a day and I felt better knowing I had someone here at our house to care for our dog (instead of boarding him). Our dog has some anxiety and allergy issues and she took care of all his meds and gave him lots of love and cuddles. She also washed all the bedding, towels and took the trash out (which she didn't need to do but did it anyhow). Highly recommend! Thanks again, Jessica.”

About: Growing up, my family didn’t have pets, so I love my friends and family’s pets like they are my own! I am intentional and ask questions when learning from owners how to best interact with their pet(s). I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats, up to two of each at the same time. I prioritize playtime and being active with any pet I’m responsible for. I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs, and can adapt my skills and schedule based on their unique needs. My schedule is extremely flexible as I continue the job search post graduate school. I am able to support pet owners with short-term drop ins, frequent walks for high energy pets, and extended stays. I am available to care for pets in their own home. I aim to ease any stress by keeping their environment familiar and maintaining their usual schedule as much as possible.

About: I started in the veterinary field at the age of 15 as a kennel technician and cross trained in the clinic as a veterinary assistant. I then went to school for animal/veterinary science and graduated with valuable skills and education. After school I went into zookeeping where i cared for a variety of taxa including but not limited to carnivores and hoofed animals. After leaving the field and changing careers, I became a foster home for Oh My Dog Rescue based in the Des Moines IA area. As a Retail Manager my schedule is not consistent however I guarantee that I will check on your animals a minimum of twice per day unless otherwise agreed upon. I do best house/petsitting for clients who leave detailed instructions and emergency contacts. I bring structure and high quality care to the table in every home I enter.

About: I have dog sat my friend’s dog, her aunt’s dog, and my sister’s dog. Dog sizes range from small to large. I love taking dogs for walks. I also love snuggles just as much. :) I would be available Thursday night after 5:30 to Sunday evenings. I currently work all day Monday, Tuesday/Thursday afternoons (12:30-5:30), and Wednesday mornings (7-12). I am off on Fridays. I live in a secure condominium. The front and side doors are both locked on the building at all times. Only homeowners have keys. I have stayed in other people’s houses as well. I always make sure to leave the house looking clean when I’m done dog sitting. That way you don’t have to worry about cleaning up after me upon returning home.

About: I have worked with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages, I strive to provide the best experience for not only the pet but the pet parent as well! I have experience working at the Animal Rescue League alongside my own animals and friends and families animals I’m an open availability sitter I will always put the needs of someone’s animals at the forefront of anything! I have all the time and attention in the world to give your babies I love taking my boys on walks, to the park, and love giving them a variety of enrichment throughout the day! “I used Jess for several years when I lived in Iowa, usually a couple of times a year or more. I absolutely loved her. She did the little things that go above and beyond, like taking the garbage out - bringing in the mail and packages, leaving my house cleaner than she found it and even taking my pups to the dog park. There was one stay where my Sheltie choked on some food and she literally gave him mouth-to-mouth. She saved his life. We miss her a lot and can't recommend her enough!”

About: I have had my two cats and dog for 6 years. I recently went through stage 4 cancer and they have been by my side the whole way. When I was in and out of the hospital I needed help watching them. They are my family and I needed someone I could trust fully. I want to be there to take care of your family the way mine were taken care of. I currently do not work. I have a gym time scheduled daily at 7 am. I don’t have many other things that would prevent me from being with them most of the time. I can accommodate medications and strict feeding schedules. I can crate. I can also bathe or brush animals as well. When at your house, I can accommodate any schedule you have.

For dogs or owners with allergies I even make a peanut free treat that your special family member will love. I can't wait to meet your special friend.... or if your dog is like mine... well... your child. I'm am full time Work from home until Labor Day. After Labor Day I'm Work from home Friday-Tuesday. So I have plenty of time to give your baby attention! I have a fenced in privacy fence for your baby to run around. They will get plenty of pets, belly rubs and healthy homemade treats.

About: I’ve been & lived with animals all my 25 years of life so very keen to wants and needs—play, sleep, walks, food. What we all want as humans as well. Just look for a furry companion to share my time off with! I’m a nurse who works 3 days a week, so have a lot of downtime! Would love to talk your special loved ones on walks around this beautiful city! I have no pets in my luxury apartment so all my time and attention will be on your pet. We do have a fenced in area for easy restroom breaks.
