About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 10 years. Most of my experience comes from small to medium size dogs, but I’m also open to caring for dogs of any size. Additionally, I have experience with senior dogs that may take an extra amount of care/support (I.e., administering medicine, helping them get around, etc.). Im currently unemployed, so id be able to drop in at any time necessary. I won’t be available during the first couple weeks of December, but other than that I am free. I will make sure to clean any messes or wash dishes while you are away. I like to keep the house clean while I pet sit.

About: My own furry family consists of 3 wolverines (chihuahuas), 1 pit/boxer mix, 3 horses, 2 cats and a gaggle of happy, laying hens. About: Hi, I’m Ellie! I have over 10 years of experience with working with cats and dogs. I grew up with them, and have pet sat for quite a few people. I enjoy getting to know your pet and making sure they’re getting the care they need while you’re away. I can check on your pet in the morning and at night, as well as over lunch if close enough. I also can stay over! I do majority of over night stays. I make sure that the pet has their normal routine! I do not offer in home care but can stay at your place with your pet. I make sure that I know their needs and wants to make sure they have a great stay. For dogs and cats this includes when they go potty, get treats, have play time/snuggle time, etc. Currently I work 4 days a week in Ames, and three days off in the DSM area (Friday-Sunday). I mainly take clients in the DSM area but can be flexible with the Ames area! I talk with them about their current routine and what your safety policy is with your day. Are they friendly with other dogs or prefer space? Do they enjoy walks? Anything that helps with normalcy.
“Jess was such a great choice to watch my Sammy boy. We were gone from 5/22-6/1 and had no idea it was getting VERY warm here in Iowa. We did not yet have our window air conditioners in. At one point, it got to 85 in our house. I was able to have a neighbor install the window ac’s. Jess was concerned for Sam and offered to stop by to check on him (on a day that wasn’t originally on the calendar). I truly appreciate her doing that! About: I’ve had cats my whole life and have always enjoyed caring for them. My cats have some medical needs so I’m open to discussing anything like that. I have also been around dogs my whole life, including watching neighbors and family member’s pups. I typically work irregular hours but will update my availability when I know!! I have weekends off and after 4:30 for sure every week day I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to roam and shade to cool off. If I’m coming to your home depending on it you have a cat or dog, I love to play and give animals lots of pets. But I will also follow the given instructions with food, water, and litter box if necessary.
