Doggy Day Care in Saint Marys

“This was our first Rover booking for a day of daycare. Our sheepadoodle was pretty anxious when we arrived. Scott did a good job of putting her at ease. His dog Brinley is gentle and did her part in making our dog less nervous too. It wasn’t long after we left that we got a video of her playing with 3 other dogs. That was very reassuring. We chose Scott because we liked that he and Jess were full time dedicated to the care of dogs. We liked that there would be other dogs there because we felt being busy with playmates would be a positive. It’s clear that Scott is serious about providing great care to dogs and it appears he has earned many loyal customers. I don’t think anyone should have any qualms about giving them a try! I am glad we did!”

About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. My kids are 10 and 7 and love taking our dogs for walks, hikes and playing with them in our very large back yard. I am home all summer and my school year schedule varies so I have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and play with them. I have a large fenced back yard and 2 pups friendly pups. I have the ability to take your dog to either a paved or dirt trail for walks or runs. My dogs walk 4 to 5 miles a day but I can definitely make the walk shorter if needed. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I can also crate the dogs. Our dogs love to lounge on our couches.

“Jen and her family are amazing and I think our pup Nila would go to their house to visit every day if she could. Nila initially had some anxiety from some bad past experiences when Jen first started watching her, and Jen was incredible at helping her feel safe and gain confidence back. And her own dog Mia does such a good job of respecting Nila’s boundaries but also encouraging her to play and get out of her comfort zone. Jen treats every dog with so much love and care as if it was her own, and goes above and beyond any expectations we had.”

“Melanie and family were so friendly that my dogs—a 4- and a 12- year-old Havanese—relaxed immediately. Melanie met us in the yard and the dogs trotted away with her without looking back. The dogs were with her for 6 hours and she sent multiple photos and status updates. We would definitely ask Melanie to watch our dogs again!”

About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! If you request that I come to your house I am very reliable, responsible and respectful. I can guarantee a boat load of scritches and belly rubs as well as time for “business”.

About: I love dedicating time to pets giving them care, love and fun time. I want to give them the comfort of a warm, attentive and loving presence. I am a stay-at-home student and among other personal activities, I am able to dedicate myself full-time to this service both weekdays and weekends, day and night. I live with my husband and my 14-year-old stepson and we are all pet lovers! Although we may all enjoy the companionship of your pet(s), you can have peace of mind that pet(s) will be cared for 100% by me! I live in an apartment building with lots of comfortable space, safe, with windows screens. There is a dog park in the premises, there are many trails around that we can walk and have fun. Our view is to a beautiful green area where many birds come around to hang out and sing.

She has a giant yard for them to play and he came home every time just so happy and relaxed! He slept like a baby both times! He clearly loved her, her kids, and her dogs!
