About: Hi, I'm Emily! I'm not just a dog lover - I've been a dog mom to just about every size and personality. Over the years I've had my own Chihuahuas, Labs, Olde English Bulldogs, American Staffordshires, and American Bullies. So I’m very comfortable with strong, energetic breeds as well as tiny lap dogs who think they run the house. I particularly love the bully breeds - no judgment, just structure, play, and lots of affection. I know how to read body language for both a nervous 4lb Chihuahua and an 80lb Lab who thinks they’re a lap dog. I’ve cared for a dog who required a strict daily medication routine, so I am meticulous about timing, dosages, and watching for side effects. Pills, liquid meds, special feeding schedules - I’ve done it all and I take it seriously. My home is calm with a structured routine. My husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. I keep a clean but dog-proofed home with a predictable routine for potty breaks, walks, play, and rest. We walk in the mornings and sometimes again in the evening if the weather allows. I only book one client at a time so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention! I promise to send lots of updates, photos, and videos so you never worry. Your pup will be treated like family here - safe, loved, allowed on the couch and in the bed and very well cared for while you're away. I have a securely fenced yard and take daily walks in my neighborhood for exercise. Inside, dogs have plenty of places to lounge, with dog beds, toys, and a quiet areas for naps. My home is non-smoking, no kids with one American Bully named Rosco. Rosco is neutered, two years old, about 80 lbs and loves other dogs. Rosco is a high energy dog who does best with dogs who are playful but also tolerant. Rosco also does great with smaller dogs and puppies. I am open to dogs over 40lbs but not more than 60lbs. I never leave dogs unattended for long without them being kenneled. I am home most of the day but utilize kennels when we’re gone for everyone’s safety. We follow a twice a day feeding schedule and I will gladly follow your instructions to the letter for feeding, crate time, and walks. I’m currently between jobs and have plenty of time for pet care. My husband works during the week and is around in the evenings and the weekends to help care for our pups. I have a fenced in yard a very friendly bulldog named Rosco to keep your pup company. I can also crate your pup if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 10 years. Most of my experience comes from small to medium size dogs, but I’m also open to caring for dogs of any size. Additionally, I have experience with senior dogs that may take an extra amount of care/support (I.e., administering medicine, helping them get around, etc.). Im currently unemployed, so id be able to drop in at any time necessary. I won’t be available during the first couple weeks of December, but other than that I am free. I will make sure to clean any messes or wash dishes while you are away. I like to keep the house clean while I pet sit.

About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. My kids are 13 and 10 and love taking our dogs for walks, hikes and playing with them in our very large back yard. I am home all summer and my school year schedule varies so I have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and play with them. I have a large fenced back yard and 2 pups friendly pups. I have the ability to take your dog to either a paved or dirt trail for walks or runs. My dogs walk 4 to 5 miles a day but I can definitely make the walk shorter if needed. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I can also crate the dogs. Our dogs love to lounge on our couches.

About: I have been the main caretaker of any animal I’ve ever had, some because I was the one who begged for it. And others because I just love animals so much that their care is only half the fun. I have experience with animals in all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. My puppy experience ranges from being the one who nursing a parvo puppy back to excellent health, she is now 3 years old and thriving. I also have a senior dog, who is such a joy but I think he forgets he has arthritis with all of his puppy antics. I also have a lot experience with teaching many tricks so don’t be surprised if your animal learns something new every time they see me! I work from home and have only two courses a day, so I have a lot of time on my hands to do a good pet care routine. My babies (my cats and hermit crabs) are on a routine or rather I am. We do feedings in the morning and have an hour of down time for everyone to “stretch” their legs before I go to class. I’m away for 3 hours before I’m back and during that time I can walk a dog if one is staying. And then I work from home so pretty much I’m at the animals beck and call whenever they need anything. I am in an apartment which lessens the risk of anything happening to your pet on my watch! About: With a lifelong ownership of dogs and cats, my experience expanded into rescue fostering in 2021. During this time, I have successfully handled pets that deal with separation anxiety, reactivity, handicaps, and limited obedience/cooperation. I am genuinely excited to learn more about your pet(s), their specific care requirements, and their quirks. I’d love to have responsibility of being your trusted caretaker while you’re away! I am currently working fully remote so am able to do all activities through the weekdays, and have flexible hours on weekends. I’m available to accommodate your schedule to the best of my ability. My home is pet-free, ensuring a comfortable environment for your pet(s), especially if they don’t get along well with other animals. About: Hi, I’m Ellie! I have over 10 years of experience with working with cats and dogs. I grew up with them, and have pet sat for quite a few people. I enjoy getting to know your pet and making sure they’re getting the care they need while you’re away. I can check on your pet in the morning and at night, as well as over lunch if close enough. I also can stay over! I do majority of over night stays. I make sure that the pet has their normal routine! I do not offer in home care but can stay at your place with your pet. I make sure that I know their needs and wants to make sure they have a great stay. For dogs and cats this includes when they go potty, get treats, have play time/snuggle time, etc. Currently I work 4 days a week in Ames, and three days off in the DSM area (Friday-Sunday). I mainly take clients in the DSM area but can be flexible with the Ames area! I talk with them about their current routine and what your safety policy is with your day. Are they friendly with other dogs or prefer space? Do they enjoy walks? Anything that helps with normalcy.

About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.

Not only did he and his family send pictures constantly but they replaced a toy that was accidentally torn while at their home.
