About: Hello my name is Crystal, I was born and raised in the bay area and I love dogs! I live in Oakland andI have been looking after pets since I was a kid, many of my friends have pets and they always ask me to watch there children (pets). I love to cuddle with dogs so if you have a lovable dog that would be added satisfaction. I live in the Fruitvale area close to a few parks and and track field, I have a gated apartment complex with a nice back yard as well. I am very friendly and love friendly pets, I would love to take care of your dogs I'm a great sitter. If you have any additional questions please ask me anything. Rates: I charge by day not night, so the weekend will include 3 day charges. Any pet sitting after the 24 hour period $25 charge. I don't mind early drop offs or late pickups but I do like to note that there will be an additional charge.

About: I've had cats and dogs since I'm very young, and currently a bunch of cats in my backyards. Pets are good friends for your bad days. I love them as much as I love my friends and family. I'm currently a university student, I have plenty of times during days without school! Plus walking with a pet will help with my academic journey a lot! I would let the pet be if I were to be at my client's home. Some dogs can be energetic and I would ask where is allowed to fool around with the pets. It all depends on the pets.

About: Experienced pet parent to both dogs and cats with years of caring for friends' and neighbors' beloved companions. I provide attentive in-home sitting, overnight care, and enjoyable walks. I've successfully leash-trained older dogs and I love giving pets the exercise and affection they need. Your loved ones will receive the same care I give my own pets - consistent attention, plenty of play time, and a comfortable environment that feels like home. I work (mostly) at home. My own dog gets 4-5 walks per day during the week. Weekends are variable, but I try to have her outside for a good bit of the day. I live in an apartment. Outside time will have to be under my control when we go out for walks and pee breaks. Others' dogs can be crated if that's what makes them comfortable, but I typically let them hang out with my dog around the apartment. My dog is a voracious eater, so if other dogs are slow eaters, I'll have to separate their food (and maybe them for a bit) from my own.

“Monique and Costa walked my 100-lb Great Pyrenees for 2 weeks while I was out of the country and did a fantastic job. I got frequent updates and they were even able to set up play dates with my dog’s usual buddies. They are reliable, friendly, and have a growing pack of super sociable and fun pups. I was instantly confident in their ability to manage the personality and size of my dog and I appreciated their communication and flexibility when I had to make last minute changes. Thanks Monique and Costa, and I would highly recommend to folks checking out their profile!”

Kelly W.

“Kelly has watched our dog and 2 cats many times over the last year and is very reliable, responsible, kind. I highly recommend Kelly to take care of your animals to know that you are leaving your beloved family members in great hands and do not need to worry while you are away.”

Mia A.
“Mia has a gift for working with animals. She started having pets at a young age with fish, mice, hamsters and birds, taking joy in interacting with them, feeding them, always being the first one to notice any health concerns. As she grew older she went to zoo camp, to SCPA camp, and she graduated to counselor sharing her love of animals with other children. Over the last few years she has regularly walked her many dogs, cleaned up after them, made sure they received needed vet care and nursed them back to health after surgery or illness. When younger, she would walk her two Chihuahua mixes, and helped care for them as they aged, became less mobile, and needed extra attention and medications. As a young adult, she raised one puppy Pit Bull from 6 weeks (now 5 years old), and adopted a mistreated Pit/Lab mix, who is now her best friend and companion. She is excellent at ensuring their routines are followed and spending quality time with them. She uses treats wisely, and has trained her dogs to follow her lead, sit and wait when commanded. She ensures regular vet care and gives medications, applies lotions and other vet-prescribed care with kindness. As she has started dog walking and care professionally, she has been a reliable, trusted caregiver. She has demonstrated her capacity with all types of dogs and her understanding that dogs not only need food, water and walking or play, but also interaction, reassurance, and love. I admire her ease with and love for animals, and am glad she can share her gift with other pet owners.”

Salina L.
“Salina is a great dog sitter! Her love for animals immediately shows through and she has the ability to put dogs at ease with her calm energy and warmth. Salina has a strong background in veterinary care. She pays close attention to details and instructions. To help put pet parents at ease, Salina has a certificate for cat and dog first aid training from the American Red Cross.”
