“Elizabeth was prompt with her visits and reports. She made me feel secure about being away from Tula. Everything was in order when we returned. I would trust her to check on her again if needed.”

“Loren takes great care of my boy and gives detailed reports about how the walk went, which is great for an anxious pet parent like me! 10/10 will hire again!”

“Alaina is super conscientious and great at communicating while you’re away. She’s a pro in the sense that she gets it when you tell her one cat likes this, the other likes that. She’s been there and gets it straight away. It’s a real peace of mind to leave town confident your cats are in good hands. This was our first time using Rover/Alaina. We’ve had other sitters years ago who had a ton of extra rules and made things a little challenging. Not Alaina. Super flexible and on the ball. I loved her updates and when we got home both cats were calm and happy. It was kind of like they were expecting Alaina. Waiting on their perches for her regular visiting time which was when we got home. Then, surprised to see us but not needy and stressed out. So happy to have found a great cat sitter for our future trips. Thanks, Alaina! Cortado and Bonzie send their love.”

“Faith was great with our Gina. She even made sure to ask questions about care for Gina, to make sure that she would have everything she needed. It was a last-minute booking, and faith made us feel comfortable, leaving our fur baby in her care.”

“Michelle was absolutely fantastic! She was punctual, communicative, made sure Roux La La got her meds, and gave her lots of love. Michelle has a warm energy that my kitty took to right away. I'm so grateful to have peace of mind while I'm traveling, knowing that I can rely on Michelle. Roux La La and I look forward to more bookings with her.”

About: I have had dogs in my life since i was 11 years old (27 years). Last october i had to say goodbye to my companion of 11 years, Wanda. I am not ready for another dog of my own and want to be around your dogs as much as possible. I believe in reciprocal relational dynamics between humans and dogs are the best approach to training and trust, not dominance and control. I would like to care for your dog by building a relationship with them based on their personality and needs. Would love to meet you and your dog! I am currently a self-employed carpenter and bee keeper. My schedule is very flexible and i can work with you and your dogs schedule and needs. I live in a household with 3 other dogs who are my roommates', so I cannot board at my home, but am more than happy and available for caring for them at yours. I am good with all size and age of dogs.

About: Hi, I’m Britt — a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet sitter. I had my sweet pup Abbie for 10 wonderful years, and since her recent passing, I’ve deeply missed having a dog around. I’m not quite ready to adopt again just yet, but I’d love to share my home and heart with your pup in the meantime. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless friends’ dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I work remotely (as does my partner), so your dog will have constant company, attention, and care. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a spacious yard that’s fully enclosed with double-secured fencing — perfect for safe play and lounging in the sun. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs and understand the extra patience and TLC they may need. Whether your pup is energetic or a couch cuddler, they’ll be treated like family here. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet — I’d love to hear about your dog and how I can help! Right now, I’m freelancing remotely through November — my main job runs from November to June, so I currently have a super flexible schedule and work from home full-time. That means your pup will rarely be left alone and can expect lots of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m available for daytime care, overnights, or longer stays depending on your needs! I’m currently in a pet-free home, so your dog will get all the attention without the stress of sharing space with other animals. I live in a cozy New Orleans shotgun-style house that’s easy to section off depending on your dog’s needs — whether they like their own space or prefer to be close by. We also have a double-secured fenced yard that’s great for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. While this profile is just for me, my partner is also home full-time and a calm, animal-loving presence. He’s especially patient with dogs who may be shy or nervous around men. I’m happy to accommodate crate training, medication, or any specific routines to help your pup feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me.

“She gave great updates and pictures of both my cat and dog. You could tell she really enjoyed being with them and they loved having her come and play. I will be recommending her to all my friends and use her again!”

“Chloe was wonderful! She was quick to respond to messages, arrived on time, was so caring and sweet to our puppy, and respectful of our space! I would absolutely recommend her and would book again without any hesitation! Thank you Chloe for keeping our pup company and giving her lots of love!”

“Lindsay was great with my cat! She followed all the instructions that were given, sent daily pictures/videos and updates, and made sure that my cat was well taken cared of and loved. Would definitely book her again. Thanks, Lindsay!”

“Mindy is always great with Scout! I appreciate how communicative she is when she enters the home. She sends lots of pictures of Scout playing, being a goofball, and overall enjoying her company! I tell Scout “Aunty Mindy” is coming over and he quickly runs to the door to look for her.”

About: I raised my dog from 2 months old to a healthy 5-year-old maltipoo and helped my parents care for two senior dogs. I’ve grown up around animals—cats, dogs, hamsters, and guinea pigs—and bring that lifelong experience to every pet I care for. I’m confident with both puppy training and senior care, and I always strive to make pets feel safe, loved, and right at home. I am currently working part-time, so will be available weekdays before 8am and after 3pm, and on weekends from 8am to 12pm for pet care! I offer dog walking and drop-in visits, making sure each pet gets fresh food, bathroom breaks, and plenty of love, attention, and outdoor time when needed.

About: I have an incredible love for animals. I even learn their temperament to better understand them. I'm the type of person to get down on all fours to connect and play with your pet. I'm sure we'll have a strong bond before the visit is over. I love taking them for walks because I love to exercise and they love it too! I work from home so I have a bunch of spare time and love to give. My attention will be on your pet 90% of the time if they're with me, even if I have multiple pets. I can even teach your dog some new tricks. You ever heard that saying "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" well that's not true when it comes to me. I create such a bond through trust that we basically start speaking the same language. Hope to meet you and your lovely pretty soon! I’m currently working from home, so I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be present and attentive to your dog throughout the day. Whether it’s overnight boarding or daycare, your dog will receive plenty of outdoor time, interaction, and care. I take them outside for exercise every 2-3 hours, and in between, they can relax in their crates provided by you. I’m also available for drop-ins and dog walks, making sure your pets at home are well taken care of, fed, and exercised. No matter the time of day, I’m here for your pets! When your dog stays with me, safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a large yard where they can play and get plenty of exercise under my close supervision. For overnight stays, the dogs will stay in the crates you provide, which I make sure are covered with blankets and kept warm with space heaters when needed to ensure they’re comfortable no matter the weather. I also keep a close eye on dogs that may not socialize well with others to make sure everyone feels safe and happy. At your home, I make sure your pets are well-fed, exercised, and comfortable, providing the same level of care and attention as I would with my own.

About: I have taken care of dog cats and animals ever since I can remember. As a child, a teenager and college student, I had a monopoly on taking care of my Neighbor’s pets. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior dogs, multiple animals and even birds. I prioritize Service and Care and don’t like to keep you guessing. I value communication while you are away from your pets. I currently do freelance contract work, sometimes from home, and sometimes from other locations around New Orleans. I have a flexible schedule with periods of time to easily step away and spend time with your dog or cat! I have three cats and a sizeable fenced in yard. Your pet’s health, safety and comfort is the highest priority to me. I can’t wait to meet them!

Saint Anthony pet parents share their Rover experiences
Faith was WONDERFUL. My pups are very wary of strangers, and this was the first time they had someone new care for them while I was out of town, and Faith was an all-star. She gave the sweetest/funniest updates about the dogs and took excellent care of them. Highly recommend!!

Samantha is excellent! It was my first time leaving cats for a week and Samantha made it easy for me to be away and not worry. She gave updates twice a day with photos, and patiently answered my text questions. Samantha went above and beyond the required. Great communication skills. Reliable, responsible, and flexible. I highly recommend Samantha!

Nikki was wonderful! She was professional, on time for all drop ins, great with using the Rover card and adding pictures of my dog. Nikki even noticed that my senior dog was having some anxiety due to fireworks and gave him his anxiety meds and replaced his potty pads. Highly recommend- will reach out to her again for pet sitting!

From our first conversation, I knew I was making the right choice choosing Amberly as our sitter. She's attentive, communicates well, flexible, very generous with her time, and went above and beyond to make our very needy dog comfortable and happy. Amberly really helped ease my anxiety about leaving our pets and did a fantastic job taking care of them all.
