About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. My mom is a biologist so she taught me from a very young age how every living thing has a soul and a place in this world. She would pick up mice and spiders that got into our home with her hands and take them outside (instead of killing them). Needless to say, I am very comfortable around animals. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets my whole life and I consider myself pretty good with them, even when meeting stray cats or other people’s dogs in the street; I am very patient with them and always let them feel confident with me before I pet them. I have never house-sat for dogs before but I have taken care of roommate’s and friend’s dogs while they are at work or out of town, feeding them, and taking them for walks, etc. I have house-sat for my mom’s cat before (at the end of 2021, actually, for her birthday) which you can read about in my testimonials. Full-disclosure – I’m currently looking for a part-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a car so I can drive over to you, just let me know what your daily and weekly needs are so we can figure out a schedule :) I’m currently not allowed to have any fur babies at my apartment so I will give your pups all the attention and play-time they want. Like I said above, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace but, of course, take care of their basic needs like food, water, and walks. Just let me know how they do with other dogs on the street and with other humans – if they’re shy, really energetic, etc.

About: I’ve always been an advocate for all animals in receiving love and care when needed. I feel like there’s a synergic effect with pets. Not only are we helping them but they’re helping us have a better day. My favorite thing to do with pets is staying active such as walks or to just play with them. I am able to fit per care in the afternoons or early in the morning. I work remotely so I am able to be free between consults to have some time to hang out with some pets. I have my roommates cat with me napping all day during my consults :) I would be making sure the per is receiving enough nutritional intake the owner suggests and helping them feel comfortable with paying attention to them and offering the best pets and rubs they deserve. I love to just be there for them when needed.

About: I have had dogs in my life since i was 11 years old (27 years). Last october i had to say goodbye to my companion of 11 years, Wanda. I am not ready for another dog of my own and want to be around your dogs as much as possible. I believe in reciprocal relational dynamics between humans and dogs are the best approach to training and trust, not dominance and control. A individualized plan of care for handling and visits to the home, will be discussed with each client prior my services starting. I have experience handling dogs, cats, small animal such as hamster, hedgehogs and some exotics such as bearded dragons and birds. I have many safe handling procedures when walking and caring for your pet. I will not use retractable leashes or collars that are prong, choke or shock collars. Please let me know ahead of time if you use these items, I will be happy to bring my own leashes and harness for us to use, ones that I feel provide security and safety for our walks together. Collars with identification must be provided if my visits involve leaving your property. I will be happy to do small things like bringing in packages/mail, water plants etc for no additional charge if requested And I never have a problem with texting a picture during our visits!
