“I would like to start by saying, in general I am a skeptical person who does not trust people with my dog because like others, my dog is my child. With that being said, I needed a dog sitter short notice while I went on a family vacation to Africa and prior arrangements fell through. Hesitant, I knew that a sitter would be best for me because I didn’t like the idea of boarding him at a facility. My dog weighs 4 lbs and is still a puppy, he seeks love and companionship. We needed someone to watch him during a long trip, and since he had never stayed with her before, she generously offered not one, but two meet-and-greets. The first was to meet us and Apollo, and the second allowed him to get comfortable in her home before his stay. From the very beginning, Amy was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming. Her family was just as excited to have Apollo and made him feel right at home. She took the time to listen to all of our instructions and learn about Apollo’s preferences, and she truly embraced having him as part of her family while we were away. Throughout his stay, she kept me updated with pictures and messages about how he was eating, sleeping, adjusting, and whether he seemed anxious. Her communication was excellent, and she was always so accommodating and thoughtful. Apollo was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for, which gave me so much peace of mind while traveling.
