About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s been caring for dogs since I was five years old, starting with my first dog, Skipper. I currently have two rescue mixes—a 14-year-old boxer/husky and a 7-year-old pittie/husky—which has given me a deep respect for senior dogs and the quirks that come with them. I have a particular affinity for dogs with special needs and hands-on experience caring for dogs who are deaf, highly anxious, or require daily medications. I’m patient, observant, and take each dog’s routine seriously—your dog will be safe, understood, and well cared for (even if they pretend not to like me at first). Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I’m available throughout the day for walks, feedings, medications, check-ins, and supervision—not just quick drop-ins. I adapt my day around a pet’s existing routine, not the other way around, and I’m available on weekends as well. Translation: your fur baby will be thoroughly cared for, closely monitored, and occasionally wondering why I’m still there. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow routines closely—feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any house-specific instructions. I’m attentive without hovering and respect both the pet’s space and your home. Everything will be left exactly as you left it, and your pet will be safe, settled, and properly cared for by someone who knows what they’re doing, regardless of how unimpressed your dog or cat may seem.
“Hayleigh was a dream to work with! She was very flexible when my schedule changed and took amazing care of my babies. She took a lot of pictures and spent ample time with them both! Will definitely book with her again !”

“Cathy was fantastic looking after our cats. We got lots of photos each day, which our previous Rover didn’t do. We will definitely have Cathy watch our cats next time we head out of town.”

“Andrea has done an incredible job at letting our shy pup go at his own pace. We also appreciate her excellent communication with us about how each visit has been going and in arranging schedules. Darwin is more and more excited each time she visits!!”

I’ve had pets since childhood and have house-sat for neighbors, family, and friends, ensuring their pets were happy and well cared for. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when leaving your pets and home in someone else’s hands. I’ll provide attentive care, keep your pets happy and comfortable, and ensure your home stays safe and well-maintained. I’m also happy to send regular updates so you always know how things are going. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets—feel free to reach out! My 9-5 job is fully remote, which means I’ll be around to keep your pets company throughout the day. I’m available most days of the week and am happy to travel and stay in your home to ensure your pets feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I live in a quiet, two-bedroom condo with no other pets, making it a comfortable space to board cats and small/medium dogs. Since I work from home, I can provide plenty of attention all day, and take your dogs outside regularly for walks and fresh air. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s routine, including crating if needed. I also offer house sitting to keep your pets comfortable in their own home while you’re away.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. I’ve been watching and caring for pets for friends, family, and others since I was around 12 years old. I also have a little pup of my own named Gus, and he’s a weenie dog! 🐶 He’s definitely my best little buddy, and having him has given me even more experience with the day-to-day care, routines, and attention that dogs need. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, cuddles, and love. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your pets, and I’m happy to provide updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while you’re away! Pet care fits really well into my daily schedule! I have a flexible schedule and am available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. Since I have my own dog, Gus, I’m used to keeping a consistent routine and making sure pets get the care and attention they need. I’m happy to work with each owner to follow their pet’s normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of cuddles. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in their home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. About: I'm a dedicated and compassionate pet caregiver with experience caring for both large and small dogs ranging in age from 1 to 13 years old. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality, preferences, and routine, and I take pride in providing attentive, individualized care that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I am highly detail-oriented and make it a priority to maintain your dog's regular schedule, including feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, medications (if needed), and daily routines. Consistency is important for a dog's well-being, so I work hard to ensure they remain on their normal schedule while you're away. My goal is to create a positive, fun, and loving environment where your pup feels cared for and happy. Dogs in my care receive plenty of attention, cuddles, and physical activity, typically between 30 minutes and 1 hour of exercise per day, depending on their age, energy level, and needs. Before services begin, I prefer to meet both the dog and their family. This allows me to learn your pet's routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions. I also like to familiarize myself with the home, including the locations of emergency contacts, cleaning supplies, and other important items, so I can provide the safest and most seamless care possible. Communication is extremely important to me. I provide timely updates, regular photos, and detailed check-ins so you can feel confident knowing your furry family member is in caring hands. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind while ensuring every dog receives the love, attention, and quality care they deserve. I am a full-time employee with flexible starting and closing hours. I work remotely once a week. Weekends are open as well. When I am presented with tasks, I make sure that all my responsibilities are taken care of. I allocate appropriate time to ensure client and self-satisfaction. When I put my mind to it, I complete my tasks to the best of my ability. I enter and exit the house the same way I arrived, always maintaining the client’s privacy and security. If I notice any damage or an emergency arises, I communicate immediately, offering opportunities for additional service and support. I treat the home as if it were my own, showing respect and care in every detail. I bring the same level of attention and compassion to the client’s pet, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am deeply caring, compassionate, tidy, and regimented in all that I do.
“Missy was so wonderful with my puppy Corbin! I had zero concerns leaving him in her hands. She was very communicative, followed directions, was respectful of my home, and was detailed in her updates. The photos she included in her updates were the highlight of my day! I could tell she really enjoyed her time with him and he was having fun and felt safe with her. Thank you so much, Missy!!!”

“Tiffany it’s so wonderful, and my fur babies fell in love with her. This was the first time I left them with a sitter, so I was very nervous. Once I saw the pictures and how they interacted with Tiffany all my worries were gone.”

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
