When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow feeding instructions, walk schedules, medication routines, crate preferences, and any household rules to help pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. Safety is always my top priority during walks and drop-in visits. I pay close attention to leash handling, surroundings, weather conditions, and each pet’s comfort level and behavior. I’m especially mindful with large dogs, anxious pets, and multi-pet households to ensure everyone stays safe and calm. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are being well cared for while they’re away.

Usually when I get home, my cat cries for a day as she is so happy to be back on her routine with me. This time she hardly peeped, letting me know that Jordan had been a pretty good substitute. I really wish I could keep Jordan a secret but I guess I need to share how good he is.”

About: Hi, I’m Katie. I’m a college student and I don’t have many years of experience, but I’m looking to gain some. I’m probably the biggest pet person you’ll ever meet and I hope I can help you and your dog or cat. I currently am a college student and I don’t have a summer job or anything so I’m just looking for something to do on the side and keep me busy and something that will fit my schedule while also enjoying time with animals I have a fenced in yard with a boxer half lab who is very friendly with medium to small size dogs and does well with cats. I’m looking to make sure the owner is happy but even more to make sure their pet is happy.
