About: After a break from pet sitting, I have decided to start taking bookings again for walking/drop-in visits. I am also open to overnight stays at your home depending on circumstances. I have always had a soft spot for animals. They bring me such happiness and I honestly feel like we are not deserving of the love that they give! I have great anxiety when I have to Board or find care for my own pets, and I strive to bring comfort and compassionate care to others who may feel the same way! I work from home which allows me to constantly be present for the needs of my own animals and the needs of pups that are visiting my home. I have a large fenced in yard in a safe community. About: I started babysitting at around 13, from then on through high school and into college, I found a love for caring for both animals and children. As I got older I began routinely house/pet sitting for my aunt who had 4 cats and my grandma who had 3 dogs. Most recently I house sat for a MSgt in Abilene Texas who had 2 cats and 2 dogs for a little over a week. From birth I've always had my dog companons, I currently have 2 dogs of my own.(Deiliah, and scoob) Ive volunteered at several animal shelters delicating alot of my time to the ones who need love, and for the simple fact... How can you be sad surrounded by furry doggos...that's right you can't! I take my dog on daily walks, bathe her, love her, and play with all her favorite toys! walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
