“We feel so lucky to have found David; truly, we only wish that we had found him sooner! He is reliable, considerate, and, most importantly, our dog LOVES him. Our dog is older, with some medical issues, and can be standoffish to new people but David won him over almost immediately. We always have complete confidence and peace of mind that our dog is well cared for.”

About: I'm from Colombia, and there I had different pets that my family and I rescued through the course of 12 years, birds, parrots, iguanas, cats, dogs. I moved in 2018 to the US., lived basically a year in a pet free environment and couldn't make it longer like that. Because of that, my husband and I went to Colombia, got my two dogs that were with my family, Arya & Kathy (AKA the girls) and brought them with us to the US. And they come with us everywhere that they are allowed! Teaching things to the girls, playing with them, going for walks (and spoiling them a little) is a big part of our lives, and I can surely say that your pet would love being with us because he/she/they would certainly feel part of our family! <3 I'm currently a full time photographer, I edit and do social media management from home, so I'm basically around most of the time, if I have to go out for a shoot it won't be longer than 3 hours, and if it is a big event - it would more likely to be at night or the weekend when my husband is home. He works full time, some days at home, some others at the lab. We live in an apartment and have a huge terrace, there we have a pee-potty station for the girls for when it's too cold or rainy and it's hard to go for a walk! - I am a morning rooster, get up at 5 am, let the girls out or take them out for a walk around our building, offer them breakfast and with hubby start getting ready for work. I stay home and take them out every 3 hours, then a longer walk at noon before lunch and another long walk when hubby comes back from work around 6pm, then we offer the girls dinner. During the day, I need to take short breaks for my eyes and hands, and I use that time to decompress playing with the girls (+ your fur baby), and after our dinner and chatting about our day we all cuddle on the couch or play with the craziest squeaky toys haha! We have a big dog safe terrace, and two fur babies to keep your dog(s) company when they board with us! We don't really crate the girls, instead we have a metallic foldable gate that we set when we both are out so they don't feel the anxiety of been close to the door, but instead they get to be on their space with beds, bowls, & the living room (couch and puff chair) for them to hangout! When I'm home (the 80% of the time) they can walk around the whole apartment, join me on the couch or my office set up or just chill on their beds. We also have a dog spa in our building that allow us to shower, dry and groom them easier and faster in case your baby is in need of one! When dog sitting, I'll make sure to follow your instructions and to help your baby not feel alone!

“Nina is wonderful. She made me feel so safe leaving my 7 month old puppy. I was able to enjoy my vacation and my dog loved her. She has great character and is an educated woman. I was blessed to find her . I wish she lived closer to me.”

“Faith always does an amazing job walking Devin. He is a senior toy poodle with special needs who is very reluctant to walk with just anyone. She has a special ability to coax him along and is very careful to take great care of him. She is always on time and very responsive. Highly recommend.”

“Alexandra did an amazing job with our two kitties while we went on vacation. They were loved and well cared for, and she played a LOT with them! We definitely would recommend her!”

“Kenisha was amazing! I was traveling overseas for 11 nights and needed someone to come in to check on my 3 cats, feed them and clean up after them. She was so sweet and caring and my cats were happy. Even my extremely shy one came out and let her scratch her head. I highly recommend hiring this beautiful soul to take care of your pets.”

“Wendy was a wonderful, thoughtful caretaker of my fur baby. She asked great questions upon meeting my dog, and followed all of my instructions perfectly. I will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’m experienced with cats and dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life mostly big dogs. I now have small dogs and cats. But I have love for them all❣️ I have a lot of free time on my hands and would love to help any fur babies out there! My hours are flexible everyday I treat them as my own babies. Let me know what you’re comfortable with and I’ll manage! You can trust your fur babies would be in good hands.

About: My name Alex Fridman, nice to meet you! Over the years through Rover and other dog sitting sites, I have gained a customer base and it’s been a lot of fun! My customers' dogs range from Germans, labs and doodles so I have experience walking and caring for all sized dogs. I also have two dogs of my own (a Goldendoodle named Brooklyn who is 80 pounds and a Yorkie named Coco who is 8 pounds) and I love them to death! So I do have experience dealing with small dogs! I have been volunteering at Lucky Dog Refuge in Stamford and have been loving it. I am just a very big dog person and any time I can get out and walk dogs, especially the ones that need it most, I am all for it. If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I’d love to come and do a meet and greet to make sure this is a good match and that you are comfortable. I can provide customer references if needed, just let me know! Thank you for considering me and hope to hear back 😊 I have, through my full time work, have met coworkers throughout the years in which I dog sit for. During these dog sits I would walk the dogs, ensuring they go potty and also feed them if necessary. It meant a lot to visit these pups and it honestly would make my day seeing them. I have a golden doodle and yorkie of my own who I love very much. I honestly don’t know what I do without my pups. They bring me a lot joy and laughter everyday and on most days, hanging out with them on the couch, are the best days!

“Poppy LOVES spending her hour with you! She is always so tired from her walk and the photos we get are amazing! You are so flexible and always so accommodating! We know Poppy is well taken care of when she’s with you”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14 and I love it. Having 2 dogs of my own I know what it’s like to find quality pet care so I like to provide families with the relief of knowing their four-legged baby is being well taken care of! Through my experiences, I’ve learned how to be attentive to dogs cries, whines, whimpers, etc. and body language which helps me make sure they get what they need. I’m currently a college student and am home for the summer. I work at the grocery store 3 days a week so during those hours I wouldn’t be at the house but other than that I will be there! I can’t leave during work but as my hours are short, it has not interfered with my ability to tend to the dogs! I work with each pet parent to make sure I have all the details of the pet’s schedule. In my home, pets are always viewed as members of our family. I believe that pets require the same love and attention that people do so that’s what I share with my clients as well!

maria alexandra v.
“I do not think it is an exaggeration to say that Maria loves dogs more than kiddos - and this is a woman who has been hailed as a phenomenal nanny by several families over the last several years. Many people will ask to pet new dogs that they meet, but Maria truly falls in love with every single one. In fact this is true of all animals, but she does have a special place in her heart for doggos. I probably do not have space to write all the stories I could about this part of her life, but here are a few. In addition to the dogs she has cared for while nannying (5 in total), she has had no less than 4 dogs of her own. She has raised newborn puppies, and she has rescued dogs (and cats) that she found abandoned in the street, or that were left by families that could no longer care for them. In fact just the other day she turned the car around when she believed she saw a dog being tied to a pole on the side of the road, but thankfully the owner was only taking a rest and did stay with the animal the entire time. Maria is from Colombia, which has a complicated dog culture. There is an abundance of dogs throughout the country, but they are not always well cared for, and many end up as strays. I personally witnessed her nurture a hungry stray dog while staying at a fancy resort. While the proprietors tried to shoo the animal, thinking it was being bothersome, Maria was actually encouraging the dog to approach. She then calmed him into trusting her so that she could give him some food and water, and he later followed us to our cabana and slept outside. We currently have two dogs in our family, and if I didn’t see it with my own eyes every day, I would not believe two dogs could ever be this happy and comfortable. She does not simply provide them food and water. She rolls around and plays with them whenever they bring her one of their favorite toys, and she lays down with them on whatever surface of the house suits them in the moment. They have so many choices, with 3 beds of their own, a comfy couch and ottoman, and even occasionally our own bed. She bathes them, grooms them, cleans their teeth, and even paints their nails (yes really!). To them, I may be one of their “humans”, but she is truly a part of their pack. Arya, Kathy (our mini French poodles), and Maria would love a chance to share their love with the special furry member of your family, and I promise they will be so very well cared for!!”

Ivon Melissa C.

“Poppy LOVES spending her hour with you! She is always so tired from her walk and the photos we get are amazing! You are so flexible and always so accommodating! We know Poppy is well taken care of when she’s with you”

kaitlin s.
“We have a 10YO Rhodesian mix and a 4 month old Great Dane. From the time we brought our first home, Kaitlin has been playful, loving, attentive and proud. In his later years, when she is home visiting, she is the first to jump in and help with his love and care and meds. In addition, she balances her time and attention between him and our new puppy. And I could not ask for a better partner with our new Dane. Her willingness to jump in and take over the new-parent responsibilities (crate training, feeding, outdoor time, sleep schedule, clean-up, etc.) highlights her love for dogs and a level of responsibility many of her peers haven’t reached yet.”
