About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time outside of these times. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have a passion for taking care of them. I have an older dog and a cat at home, so I’m used to giving pets lots of love, attention, and the extra care seniors need. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I am currently a full time student at Lewis and Clark Community College so I have plenty of time to care for animals on the side! When I’m caring for pets on walks or in your home, I always make sure they feel comfortable and safe. On walks, I’ll go at their pace, make sure they stay hydrated, and give them plenty of time to sniff and explore. In your home, I’ll stick to their normal routine, give them lots of love and attention, and keep things clean and calm so they feel right at home even while you’re away.

About: I work 8-4:30pm Monday through Friday, I can do before work and after work depending on the time and area pretty much always available on weekends feel free to reach out 😃. I have been around animals my whole life. As a child we had three American Bull dogs. I have taken care of animals for friends when they were out of town until they return home. I personally have a dog named Simba, he’s very loving and loves attention. We go on walks and play fetch, he gets spoiled with toys weekly. Pet care fits into my schedule because I can drop in before and after work. Weekends I’m free all through out the day so plenty of time for extra attention! I work from home three days out of the week Monday - Friday and go in twice a week. I follow all owner rules and like to send pictures and videos of their happy fur babies. I care for Simba by taking him potty regularly making sure he has plenty of food and water. We go for walks when the weather lets us.

About: Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to read through my profile. I’m stoked to start this journey. I have loved and taken care of friend’s and family’s dogs for years. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow, I absolutely love them all. I have a 11 year old black lab, who’s slowed down a lot. She is my everything. She just can’t move like she used to and I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk. I understand these are your babies. My house is also open with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I have predominantly had dogs and cats. I treat all animals with the utmost love and care. I have had pets through full life cycle so I understand the varying needs based on age. I currently work full time but am off Friday through Sunday so looking for people that need weekend help. About: I’ve always had a heart for little critters, both wild and domesticated. I love to get to know them and care for them and give them as good a life I can for whatever part I have in it. About: I have been caring for pets of every single kind since I was 8-9 years old. Everyone around me has for sure given me multiple jobs to take care of their animals. I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve handled hundreds of cats so I am used to every personality. I have also cared for reptiles, amphibians, fish, farm animals, and rodents. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. I have experience with cats and dogs affected by cerebral palsy, deafness, blindness, and other special needs. I am experienced in administering multiple forms of medication. For people interested in boarding, I have a fenced yard and an 11/yo, 15 lb Shih Tzu who is very friendly. He is laid back and prefers dogs who are also laid back, but has never shown aggression with high energy dogs. I typically walk the dogs I watch at least once a day, but that can vary on the age and/or the activity level of the dog. I can also take them to a park, weather permitting! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.

About: I’ve had a yorkie for the past 14 years, but started to really take care of her when I was 12. She recently passed, but I still have a love and passion to take care of animals. About: I’ve had animals of my own since I was little. Growing up I would often pet sit for family. More recently, I’ve rescued two cats within the past 3 years. They’re my world! I’ve recently started pet sitting for my friend on occasion and wanted to find more pet sitting opportunities because I enjoy it so much!
