About: Experienced former pet owner and outdoorsy athlete available to walk, jog, sit, and/or board your furry family member. I’m a regular volunteer at our local pet adoption center, Sweet Paws. I feel comfortable with pets of all sizes and energy levels, and can tailor my care to your pet's personality. I am good at engaging dogs and making them happy or just helping your cat or dog relax.. I have experience with Obedience and some Utility training, I even taught my dogs to play hide and seek, which they loved! I am available most weekends and weekdays for exercising and/or boarding. I've been pet sitting for my neighbors for years, and am known as the pet lover on our street. I have a very clean driving record and own a roomy vehicle to help transport your pet(s) safely. I'm happy to help with your short term needs, but ideally look forward to a longer relationship with your pet and you. I currently work from home at a computer so I have some flexibility built into my schedule. I can work from your home if necessary while caring for your pets. I have a pet safe home with separate private rooms if your pet needs time to relax and adjust. I’m a non smoker with no pets currently and I’m sensitive to your pets routine and comfort. I’m able to walk your pet in a quiet area away from other dogs and crate your pet if you wish.
About: I’ve been a loving and devoted dog owner since I was ten. I’ve raised both small and large breed dogs from puppyhood. In addition, I’ve been a foster mom to many dogs of various ages and breeds through Great Dog Rescue. I enjoy getting outdoors, rain or shine, walking and playing with these wonderful animals. My dogs get are doted on with lots of cuddles and attention. I currently have a very friendly Bernese Mountain dog who gets along well with other dogs. I am available full-time to care for your fur baby. I could offer daily exercise and plenty of individual attention to your pup at my home or yours. I have a house with a big yard on a quiet cul-de-sac. Either in your home or mine, I would take your dog out on a leash to make sure it stays safe. Having hosted many rescue dogs, I know how to care for nervous animals and they have thrived under my care.
“Jade watched my two pups with very different needs (one is small, 15 years old; the other is 1.5 yo husky mix) for the day as we were going through town on a road trip. We needed somewhere for the pups to be while we did a non-dog friendly day. Jade was super responsive and accommodating. The dogs happily walked off with her without any hesitation (I trust them to read the situation). She asked good questions about their care, entertained the pup during the day by introducing her to a doggy walking pad inside since it was extremely hot out. She also quickly and easily accommodated an earlier pick up when we finished up early. While we aren’t local to use her again, I would do it if the need arises. Much better than a kennel! Pups were happy when we picked up.”
