About: Hi my name is Leah and I am a college student and lifelong animal lover! have years of experience caring for all kinds of animals from bunnies to alpacas to cats & dogs and everything in between. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. From energetic puppies/kittens to senior pets, I’m comfortable providing attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. About: I worked as a dog walker for a year where I walked 6 dogs at a time usually walking around 36 dogs per day. I would also brush out feed and give the dogs water and any meds they may need for the day. Lastly I grew up with dogs my entire life so I know how to care for them very well I an currently babysitting and looking to walk dogs in my free days as a summer job. I am available most days and am happy to do any length of walk or visit needed I have a fenced in large yard and 2 very friendly dogs so if I ever needed to bring your dog to my house it would be completely safe

About: I have a lot of patience for animals and I love entertaining them, whether that’s playing with them or going on a long walk. For the younger ones, or ones that just have more energy, I would love to run them and keep them in shape. I am super flexible this summer, aside from a few weeks of travel, so whatever works for you works for me. My main priority is going to the gym, but other than that I’m all yours! Whether it’s feeding, walking, brushing, playing, or simply snuggling, I’m always giving my full attention and affection. Also, I think mental stimulation is often overlooked in animal care so I try to incorporate fun games and activities.

About: I have two cats, lily and Iris and they are my babies! I also spent a year dog sitting two sweet girl dogs in my neighborhood. I love spending time outside and getting my steps in, so taking dogs on walks is something I really enjoy! I’m a very caring person and understand that not every dog or cat is the same! They all have special quirks and things they enjoy and I love being able to cater to that and make sure they feel happy and safe. I am entering my final year of grad school and am looking to work this summer and sometimes during the year! I work at my internship during Monday’s and Wednesday’s. I am also taking a few online courses, but I am flexible! I can do drop ins a few times throughout the day :) When I’ve dog sat I enjoy mainly to spend the sunny days outside with a fenced yard so that they are free to get fresh air. When inside I like the pet to be in my site range in case they need to go to the bathroom or are about to either eat or get into something they aren’t supposed to. I have taken a cat outside one time and he had been on a leash within a fenced yard. My own two cats are indoor, though when it’s nice I open a window or door that is screened for them to look outside. I do not believe in using spray to punish or train cats. I think electric collars can sometimes help with keeping a dog in the yard but not always necessary. I am very alert on walks and accommodating play time outside with the weather changes.

Tyler was wonderful! Our 2 cats have pretty basic needs, but they do not like strangers and we had never left them alone with a non-family member, so we were apprehensive about taking a week-long international trip. When we met with Tyler we emphasized that it wasn’t unexpected for him not to see the cats at all when he came by to feed them, and that he didn’t need to try to find them or stay and spend time with them if they didn’t want to come out. Imagine our surprise when we got a video from him the very first night with our big orange scaredy-cat rubbing up against him! Even our suspicious little tabby girl, who’s often skittish even around US, felt comfortable enough to walk into the kitchen and eat her food while Tyler was still there. He sent us a video or a photo or 2 each visit along with a quick update on how the cats were doing, which was perfect; we got peace of mind without distraction from our trip. We agonized for literally months over how we would arrange cat care after moving further away from our families, but now we know that we will be booking with Tyler any time we take a trip! It’s an enormous relief to have someone we can trust and that the cats actually feel comfortable with. Tyler is a lifesaver and we can’t recommend him highly enough!
