“This was my first time leaving my dog home while going on vacation. I was nervous because he's 16 years old and I've never used a dog sitter before. But Guadalupe was great. She was very sweet with my dog, Motley, during the meet & greet. I could tell he was comfortable with her. She walked me through how to use the Rover app and was very accommodating, pleasant, and flexible with the holiday. She communicated well and I appreciated the text and photo updates. The house was exactly as I left it when I got back and I could tell my little guy was well cared for. Thank you, Guadalupe!”

About: I’ve taken care of lizards and dogs. I’ve trained my own dog, and he has been canine good citizen certified. My dog gets along well with other dogs but in the event of an issue I have pens and crates to separate animals with consent. I currently provide time to walk my dog each morning, afternoon and night with play time during the day as I work from home. I am very flexible. 2-3 walks daily, with play time or training once to burn energy. My complex has a dog park which I utilize about once a week

About: I have a lot of experience working with a reactive and anxious rescue pit-bull mix…my sweet baby girl, Abby!! It’s been a process but she’s made huge strides! So I’m quite familiar with having to be extremely vigilant on walks, training treats on hand, knowing when to cross the street to avoid triggers…etc. I fostered an adorable blue nose pitbull puppy! I house trained him and worked with him for a year. That was one of the hardest things I ever had to do…let that handsome boy go to his forever home! I also had a dog when I was growing up. The only way we were going o get her was if I was willing to take most of the care of her and I happily obliged! I was also the pet sitter in the neighborhood. I love all dogs! I’m currently not working so I have quite an open schedule! I’ve been a teacher for 21 years and I’m taking a break to do what I love…spending time with my girl, Abby, volunteering at Save-A-Pet, and helping people out by walking their dogs! I’m not able to have pets in my home because Abby doesn’t get along well with other dogs. I’m happy to do whatever a client wants me to do with their pet! I live a very active lifestyle, so if your pet needs to go for a few miles run not a problem! Also happy to just give scratches and make your pet feel comfortable while you’re away!

About: Ive never not been around dogs! I grew up with Malteses from 0-18 and as soon as I moved away for school I rescued my Husky mix and raised him from 5 weeks old. I’ve cared for many types of dogs, including rescues with troubled pasts, and high maintenance elderly dogs. I spent countless hours volunteering at my local humane society where I encountered & cared for so many animals with their own sets of needs. I’m happy to administer medicine, work on potty training, teaching basic commands, and anything else your pets might need. I do travel 3-4 days out of the week for work and frequently use Rover myself to find care for my dog. I know the struggle of finding and booking a sitter. While I’m only available part time each week, I strive to keep my availability up to date to make things easier for you. Due to my landlord’s rules, I do not offer boarding in my home. And due to me also being a Dog Mom I can’t agree to do overnight stays in your home as then I’d need to find care for my dog. I’m happy to provide drop ins, walks, and checking on your home. As far as care, I love detailed lists! Tell me everything there is to know about your pet, no amount of information is ever enough to share with me. The more details you share, the more I’m able to provide you the best service for you and the level of care that your pet deserves.

“Amy was very sweet to our dog. We left on a week long vacation and because he is labeled as a “difficult” dog no one can keep him overnight with other dogs. Amy visited him 3 times a day and made sure he was happy. We didn’t have to worry about him like we always do. She came on time, never had a call telling us she couldn’t make it. It was wonderful. Was going to be out of town for a week and could only get a friend to come by a couple days so wanted to make sure my four cats water was topped off and food dispensers kept working properly. Booked Kimberly for three day to drop in and just check on them, their litter and water. Even though they’re wary of new people I think it made a world of difference and she was able to see three of them and confirm they were fine, sending along pictures and a brief update.
