My two dogs have separation anxiety and firework anxiety (it was July 4th week) and she went above and beyond to make sure she was there for them and followed directions to make them as comfortable as possible. She was also great at sending updates and pictures which helped us feel comfortable while away. We will definitely use her again for any other dog sitting needs!”

“Akaycia did a great job with Lily, Penny and Sophie. Everyone was well taken care of and happy. They almost seemed upset that she was leaving. Lily and Penny can be quite a handful with them both being puppies still. They can be full of energy but she handled them great. Also we had no expectations of her cleaning the house up from two shedding Collies but she tried her best to do it even though we never showed her where the vacuum was. Will definitely try to hire her again if we go anywhere.”

About: My journey began when I worked for the Humane League in Lancaster. From there, I started caring for friends' and families' pets over the years, as well as my own. I have owned both cats and dogs; currently, I have a Great Dane/Labrador Mix and a mini dachshund. My experience caring for dogs includes bathing, ear cleaning, teething brushing, walks, fetch, feeding, medication administration, and just hanging out! All breeds WELCOME, both BIG and small! I do work full-time, but I am available during the week, early mornings, evenings, and nights. Since I do not work weekends, I have open availability. I do not work holidays, and am available during those times as well. I look forward to caring for your fur babies! Pet parents can trust that I will follow whatever instructions are provided to me. My professional job is in Human Resources, so I understand the importance of following the rules, and I believe in caring for a pet the same way I would want mine cared for.

About: I have been around dogs - as small as a Yorkshire and as big as a Shepard - my entire life as I grew up in a family that has always had pets, so caring for them has always come pretty naturally to me. From a young age, I have been responsible for walking, feeding, and spending quality time with our family dogs. Over the years, I have also helped friends are relatives by taking care of their dogs and cats while they were out of town, making sure their pets were always happy, well taken care of, and comfortable in their absence. I am a patient and attentive person, who truly enjoys being around animals. I treat every pet like my own and always make their safety and well-being my priority. I am generally available on weekdays from 8:00AM to 4:30PM. This allows me to provide reliable midday walks, drop-in visits, and consistent care while you may be work during the day I am happy to accommodate regular or last minute bookings within those hours whenever it is possible. My priorities are your pet's safety, comfort, and routine. I provide care in your home, where your pet feels most familiar and secure. During visits and walks, I make sure pets are always supervised, safely leashed when outside, and kept in a stress-free environment. I follow any specific instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I pay attention to each pets behavior and comfort level, and I take a patient and gentle approach to build trust. I can also provide updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands. I have a reliable car and can travel to your home easily. If requested, I can also take dogs to nearby parks, always ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the trip.
