About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

About: My journey began when I worked for the Humane League in Lancaster. From there, I started caring for friends' and families' pets over the years, as well as my own. I have owned both cats and dogs; currently, I have a Great Dane/Labrador Mix and a mini dachshund. My experience caring for dogs includes bathing, ear cleaning, teething brushing, walks, fetch, feeding, medication administration, and just hanging out! All breeds WELCOME, both BIG and small! I do work full-time, but I am available during the week, early mornings, evenings, and nights. Since I do not work weekends, I have open availability. I do not work holidays, and am available during those times as well. I look forward to caring for your fur babies! Pet parents can trust that I will follow whatever instructions are provided to me. My professional job is in Human Resources, so I understand the importance of following the rules, and I believe in caring for a pet the same way I would want mine cared for.

About: I have been around dogs - as small as a Yorkshire and as big as a Shepard - my entire life as I grew up in a family that has always had pets, so caring for them has always come pretty naturally to me. From a young age, I have been responsible for walking, feeding, and spending quality time with our family dogs. My priorities are your pet's safety, comfort, and routine. I provide care in your home, where your pet feels most familiar and secure. During visits and walks, I make sure pets are always supervised, safely leashed when outside, and kept in a stress-free environment. I follow any specific instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I pay attention to each pets behavior and comfort level, and I take a patient and gentle approach to build trust. I can also provide updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands. I have a reliable car and can travel to your home easily. If requested, I can also take dogs to nearby parks, always ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the trip.
