Will definitely use their services again! Thanks again for everything !”

About: With a strong sense for dog body language and behavior, I naturally bond with dogs and know how to keep them engaged, playful, and calm. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a senior companion, I tailor their care to suit their needs and give them a fulfilling, well-balanced day. My schedule allows me to maintain consistent routines for feeding, training, sleep, and potty breaks. I offer a variety of experiences from city parks to nature hikes, giving dogs exposure to a diverse range of settings. I also provide basic training support including crate, leash/off-leash, recall, sport-based games like fetch and frisbee, and even task-based and obedience exercises—skills I’ve developed through 10+ years of experience with dogs from puppyhood to senior stages. As a graduate student currently on summer break, my schedule is wide open—and I’ve intentionally structured my time to prioritize pet care. I’m available for care throughout the day, whether that means early-morning walks, mid-day play sessions, or overnight sitting. My flexibility allows me to tailor routines around your dog’s unique needs, whether they’re energetic and need lots of stimulation or prefer a slower, calmer pace. I spend much of my time outdoors, and I love incorporating dogs into that lifestyle—hiking scenic trails, visiting off-leash parks, or just taking long neighborhood walks. I believe dogs thrive when they experience new encounters, and I work those moments of enrichment into every week. I live in a spacious, first-floor apartment with direct access to a secure patio and a neighborhood dog park—just steps outside my door. This makes potty breaks, quick outdoor play/walks, and socialization seamless and stress-free. Every day, our neighborhood hosts friendly dog meetups with well-behaved pups, offering perfect opportunities for your dog to engage with others in a safe environment. Inside my home, dogs will find a clean, calm, and organized space with plenty of enrichment. I have a variety of toys, training tools, puzzles, and games to ensure your dog stays mentally and physically stimulated—the goal is for no boredom and anxiety. I also keep a full range of grooming and cleaning supplies on hand, so whether your dog needs a simple wipe-down or a post-adventure bath, I’ve got it covered. I am well-versed in training methods and behavior management, so if your pup has specific routines or commands, I likely already have the knowledge and equipment to maintain their structure. I’m happy to reinforce crate training, leash manners, or any custom instructions you provide to ensure consistency while you’re away. I also have a well-socialized golden retriever mix who’s incredibly calm, friendly, and trained to model great behavior for other dogs. If your dog enjoys companionship, mine makes an excellent playmate. If needed, I can crate or separate the dogs for one-on-one attention or downtime—your dog’s comfort and safety always come first.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life- with experience ranging from puppies to older animals 16+. I also have experience with birds! I am comfortable with administering daily medication and post surgical care as well. I have a flexible daily schedule for any pet care needs that arise during the week or on the weekend. Available for short visits, walks, or play care in my home. Would also be comfortable taking care of your pet in their own environment. I have two private fenced yards available that are shaded by large trees, mowed zoysia grass, and a large and clean play area that is turfed. Pets are welcome both inside and outside throughout the day. I am able to let pets out for potty breaks and walks in their own home throughout the day as well.

About: I have always loved animals, especially anything furry! Growing up we had a family dog, and as soon as I got my own apartment I got a puppy. I'm a dog mom to two fur babies, Chopper (17!) and Mumford (12). Taking care of my own dogs has provided me with a wide range of experience - puppy training, post-surgery care, pill and liquid medicine administration, grooming, leash training, canine cognitive decline management, and so much more. Chopper and Mumford are more like part of the family, than pets, and when it comes to the quality of their care, I treat them as such. If you choose to trust me with your fur baby(ies) please know that I will do the same for them! I am a very detailed-oriented and reliable person, and welcome detailed pet care instructions. My goal is to take care of your pet just as you would. I had chopper when I was an undergraduate and in graduate school, and got Mumford later when I was working as a geologist in a corporate setting. I know how hard it can be to make it home to let out a puppy that's being house trained, squeeze in a walk before it gets too hot out, or find the energy to help your furry friend burn off some energy after a long day. I understand, I've been there, and I want to help! As my dogs have started to age, they just can't go on walks or play like they used to, and I really miss that interaction! I love to go on long walks and runs, and would be honored if I could spend that time with your fur baby. Of course, cuddles, playing, and practicing tricks are also an option too! Currently my schedule is VERY flexible. Normally I work as a massage therapist/ health and wellness consultant, but I've been taking a break from that due to construction at our house and helping out my family. Most mornings (except for Thursday) I'm free between 6-10:30 AM. Thursday I'm free after 10:30 AM. Afternoons and evenings are flexible, it depends on the day. However, the more notice I have, the more open I can be with my schedule. The prices I have listed on Rover are more for infrequent/ one time visits, but I am willing to give a discount/ agree to a weekly rate if you are looking for regular help. Please feel free to text me to set up a time to talk about scheduling details/ questions. Over the years I have helped out friends by house sitting, walking their dogs, and pet sitting. When caring for other people's pets, I respect their homes, and keep them updated on how things are going overall. Please let me know if you would like to receive updates and/ or pictures.

About: Hi, I’m Kendall. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and truly enjoy caring for them. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for walks or drop-ins throughout the day. I’m also comfortable administering medications if needed. Your pet’s well-being is my priority, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own. 🐾🐶 Because I work from home with a very flexible schedule, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m able to step away throughout the day for walks or drop-in visits, and I love the break that spending time with animals provides. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their usual routines as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding, giving medications, playtime, or just providing companionship. I make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space. I’ll keep you updated with notes and photos so you know your pet is in good hands while you’re away (as a dog mom myself, I know how important this is!❤️)

Mary G.
“Mary watched my two sweet little dogs multiple times each up to 2 weeks at a time while we were traveling and they were so well cared for and loved. Mary is a true animal lover and took such great care of them. They love Mary (as do I) and get excited when they see her. Anyone should feel very secure and have comfort knowing Mary is taking care of their pets.”

Kendall N.
“For years we worried about our dog while we were traveling, annoyingly anxious about whether our dog is playing enough, being well taken care of, loved, etc etc if you’re a dog owner you know the drill. Finally we found Kendall and couldn’t feel luckier. The constant photo updates of activities and care and attention make us feel like our dog is also on vacation, which makes us enjoy ours. Would recommend Kendall 14/10”

This was our second stay for our lil chocolate Pomeranian with Scarlett and David and they were wonderful with helping our little guy get comfy and relaxed during his stay. Scarlett was so great with communicating and sending updates with photos and videos throughout his stay. She remembered all of the details that we provided for her, his schedule, and was sensitive to our lil guy’s needs. Our Pomeranian seems to have loved his stay and he was healthy and happy at pickup!

Jose is the awesome! He takes such great care of my dog Ford—I totally trust him. He’s super attentive, sends me video updates (which I love!), and even works on basic training with the dogs. Ford is always happy to see him, and I can tell he’s in great hands. Highly recommend!

Amor is incredible. Sunny tends to be quite nervous in new environments, and I was concerned he wouldn't adjust well, especially since this was his second time staying with someone on Rover since being adopted. But within just a few hours of dropping him off with Amor, I began receiving frequent updates, photos, and videos. Amor is genuinely caring, compassionate, and fully dedicated to the well-being of the pets she cares for. Sunny had such a positive experience with her!

Thank you, Alessandra, for taking care of Cooper for daycare over the past two days! Cooper had a wonderful time with her. Alessandra is a responsible and kind person, with excellent communication throughout. I really appreciated the photo updates, which gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Alex was a great match for my mini-doxie, Biscotto! Anyone who has a dachshund knows they aren't too comfortable with strangers and prefer their owners, but Biscotto was super excited to see Alex by day 2! Can't recommend enough! She was communicative and available whenever we needed!
