“Millie has been walking Otis, 3x a week for a few months now and she makes life so much easier! Yesterday, he had a bit of medical emergency and she notified me immediately and stayed with him until I was able to make it home from work. She always offers to do little helpful things that might forget and brings in any packages that might be left on the porch. She’s always pleasant and always flexible with my ever changing schedule. Definitely one of the top Rover professionals in San Antonio. She treats Otis like he’s hers and he’s always super excited to see her❤️”

About: I've taken care of dogs, from 20lbs to 60lbs and from mixed breeds to purebreds, for over a decade. I have experience in dog-sitting, both in others' homes and in my own and absolutely love the opportunity to hangout with another dog, even if just for a night! I am currently working part time so I have a lot of free time to spend with your dog! Walks, bathroom breaks, and stimulating play will be readily available. I have a back patio area for sun-loving pets plus my apartment complex has a dog park with fun obstacles. My dog Rio is super friendly and would love to keep your pup company. Our home is definitely best for energetic dogs who enjoy play! I know how important my dog is to me, and peace of mind is crucial when I leave him with another person, so I strive to provide that for anyone who entrusts their dog with me! I'm happy to provide video and photo updates throughout their stay.

About: I've cared for pets off and on throughout my life, both through paid work and volunteer opportunities. In this time, I’ve had the joy of looking after animals with a variety of needs and personalities. As a lifelong animal lover and a teacher currently on summer break, I have the time, patience, and attention to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I am very flexible this summer while on break from teaching and am happy to find a schedule that works best for you, be it weekdays or weekends! Listen, I get it. Nothing is worse than being at work or on vacation wondering if your fur babies are happy and healthy while you’re away. Are they looking out a window thinking of you? Are they eating and having fun? Worry no longer, because I will provide the same love to your pets as I would want when I have to leave my pets behind. This entails doing my best to maintain their regular routine so they feel comfortable and secure, following all feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully, and ensuring they get the attention, playtime, and affection they need and deserve! I also keep the home tidy, bring in mail or packages if needed, and provide regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. :)

About: Having recently nurtured my grandmother's cat for three months while they journeyed through Europe, I understand the profound bond between pets and their caregivers. This experience deepened my commitment to providing exceptional care, ensuring every pet entrusted to me receives the same love and attention I gave to my grandmother's cat. Furthermore, I have a proven track record of watching over my friends' dogs with the same level of dedication, ensuring their happiness and well-being while in my care. Your furry companions are in caring hands with me. Given my remote work schedule, your pet will have constant company and attention, ensuring they never feel lonely or neglected. Their well-being and happiness will be my top priority throughout the day. In my approach to pet care, safety, trust, and creating a nurturing environment are fundamental principles. I prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of each pet by ensuring they have a secure and hazard-free space to roam and play. Additionally, I establish a bond of trust through consistent care and attention, tailored to their individual needs. Whether it's regular walks, playtime, or simply cuddles on the couch, I create a comfortable and loving atmosphere where pets feel cherished and secure.

About: I have always had multiples dogs as pets at once since I was young and have developed a deep passion for animals since. I have learned animal body language, training, and grooming! I have even helped raised a few newborn litters of puppies/kittens! If I wasn’t planning on medical school I think I would definitely be planning on veterinary school. I am a college student taking a light load this year! Aside from my classes (4 hrs/day) , I only have a commitment from 8PM-10PM MTH. I have a super active lifestyle and love bouldering and hiking. I live in an apartment currently but will be able to travel anywhere in Austin to care for your pet! I have a flexible schedule and will be willing to work with you! I am available for drop in visits, walks, and house sitting and boarding!

“Ignacio has been my go-to sitter and walker ever since I moved downtown. He is so helpful and cares for my pups like they’re his own. I know when I book with him, my babies will be in good hands and I don’t have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend him to any pet parents, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Albert was great and did an amazing job taking care of my pup!”

About: Hey y'all, my name is Sam. I'm a Navy Veteran of 9 years and have made a personal mission to serve my community as a Dog Walker. My love for dogs started at a young age, and progressed into having a home full of paws. My husband and I have 4 dogs and a cat of our own, and often bring pups in and attempt to find them homes too, I also run my own dog walking business called Tails on Trails. I am a versatile in puppies through seniors, small to large, and yes- I can handle your feline friend as well!! I look forward to meeting you and your fur- babies! I am a part-time student at Palo Alto College, and run my own dog walking business called Tails on Trails, my time is devoted to assisting others, time management is a strong suit. Watching pets in their home means it is their space and I am a guest. I care for dogs and give them the most love and respect while the parents are away.

About: A new chapter has me working from home full-time — and I’m so excited to open my home again! I’d love to care for your pup while you’re away, offering cuddles, calm vibes, and a cozy space shared with my two small resident dogs. 🐾 Meet the Crew: Iggy is my 13-year-old tripod and self-appointed commander-in-chief. He mostly keeps to his cozy corner, supervising the house and making sure playtime doesn’t get out of hand. Dolly is my 4-year-old shadow. She’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly. If your pup wants to play, she’s in — but she’s just as happy to nap nearby and match their energy. 💛 My Experience: I fostered dogs for over seven years — from tiny puppies to more sensitive or reactive rescues. That variety helped me get really good at reading dog dynamics, adjusting space, and creating a low-stress, respectful environment for everyone involved. 🏡 My Setup: Pups have free roam of the living room and kitchen (with lots of nap spots — doggy couch included!) I use baby gates and barriers to create calm zones or give dogs space when needed If I step out briefly, I can crate your pup if you prefer — or I can safely separate mine in the bedroom and give yours the run of the main space I rotate rest time so every pup gets solo downtime when needed — it’s always about keeping things calm and dog-centered We also have a medium-large backyard (fully fenced, about 20 yards long), no cats or kids, and lots of cozy options for sleep and chill time. Whether your pup is a cuddlebug, a watcher, or a play-in-the-yard type, I’ll follow their lead and make sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for. I currently work fully remote and am home all day — your dog will never be alone for long stretches. My own pups are a huge part of my life (they probably eat better than I do), and I deeply believe dogs rely on us for reassurance, love, and care. I do everything I can to live up to that, every single day. During my break from Rover, I continued fostering — over 100 puppies in the last few years. At the time, I was still going into the office, which wasn’t ideal, but it was still better than them staying at risk in the shelter. That chapter taught me so much about different temperaments, special needs, and how to create an environment where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — even when it’s not their usual home. Safety and trust are everything in my home. I don’t take guest pups on walks — my neighborhood occasionally has loose dogs, and I’d rather eliminate that risk altogether. Instead, all outdoor time happens in my fully fenced backyard, and I’m always outside supervising. My immediate neighbors don’t have dogs, so there’s no fence-line tension — just the occasional curious cat that might cause a short ruckus. Indoors, I keep the environment clean, calm, and free of hazards, with soft barriers and rest zones to help everyone feel safe and settled. I also regularly review the Red Cross Pet First Aid app to stay up to date on emergency protocols like choking or injury. Your pup’s comfort and safety are never left to chance — they’re at the center of everything I do.

About: I have a genuine connection to animals and care deeply for them. In my own home I care for a senior dog and two bunnies. I always give my animals my first and my best. My schedule is flexible as I prepare for graduate school. My goal is to make some connections with families that need additional pet care that I can work my schedule around to accommodate theirs. In my client's home I will be sure to understand and fulfill all of the specific expectations they have for their pets. I will provide love, comfort and a safe environment for any and all pets. While you are away, at work or just need a little extra support I will make sure your sweet pet feels all the love they are missing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I’m currently working part-time , so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets/fur babies! I’m available any day except Mondays and Thursdays I have a fenced yard and one friendly black dog he is a small corgi and he’ll stay home while I care for your pets

About: Friends and family have always trusted me to walk their dogs and as well as bathe them. I grew up with big dogs so I am very comfortable around them. I have three dogs of my own at the moment! Two retrievers and one yorkie/pug mix I am a college student home for the summer focusing on my studies this summer, so I will have plenty of time to walk animals. My house is fenced all around with a fairly big backyard. It is home to two dogs and a cat who get along very well.
