“Allison did amazing! She was so great walking Fenway and with excellent communication. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone who needed some trustworthy pet care:)”

“Ignacio is a Great Dog Walker! Takes them really far and our dogs are problematic to say the least . Many dog walkers house sitters have refused to walk them but Ignacio can handle them really well and is now friends with them! Five stars!”

“Josh is honestly the best. Thank you for taking last minute request since my schedule can be unpredictable. I appreciate him also doing small things for my dog like filling up his water bowl and giving him a treat after the end of their walk.”

About: Looking for an animal lover to walk, spoil, or play fun games with your pet? Want some cute check-in pictures or a pet report card while you’re away? Stop your search - I got you! For YEARS I have pet-sat for friends and family, simply because I’m always happy to make a new furry friend. As I start a new chapter in my life, I decided to take a break from my 9-5. The good news for you? That means I can offer a very flexible schedule throughout the work day to give you peace of mind when away from your pup. I currently offer walking or drop-in services, but may extend my services a bit more in the future. I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes - from weeks old to senior animals and from teeny teacup chihuahuas to 100 pounds tanks. I am happy to accommodate special requests (trust me I’ve heard some interesting ones) - from tucking your pup in with a blanket before I leave to pretending to “cook” their kibble before being served. My dog has her own weird quirks and nothing makes me feel better than knowing when I’m out of town, her sitter is doing their best to keep her routine as normal as possible. I would love to offer that same relief to you :) I have quite a bit of experience administering medication orally, just let me know the tips and tricks for your specific pet. I am happy to work on some basic training with your pup while you are away. We can even play hide-and-seek with treats to keep those noses sharp! I am currently working part time with an extremely flexible schedule. I typically like to keep my Saturdays free but am open to any other day of the week! Please let me know what your pet is used to and I will do my best to accommodate. I offer neighborhood walks if you are in a walkable area or can drop in to your home.
“It was our first time using Rover, and we were a bit nervous. Sara calmed all our nerves and did a wonderful job! She followed all our instructions about our pup, was extremely communicative, and sent cute pictures! Greatly appreciate her and we will be using her services again in the future!”

“Mel was amazing!! Taking care of my pup when I had very little time to do so. I got all the pictures and updates, he kept me well informed with everything Sunny did and did everything I asked to help keep my pup calm.”

About: Ive worked as a vet tech at a veterinary clinic and have groomed and babysat dogs for 3 years. Im very patient and empathetic towards animals Every other week i clip all my animals nails and groom them it’s hard work but all worth it in the end for their health and happiness In my home I just keep them playing, regular potty breaks and i will take account all the owners say about their babies. In their home i do as instructed and maybe take them for night walks and such or give them an extra feeding all with permission first

I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles, fishes, and rabbits. Me and my family are very caring and loving with every animal that comes into our home. I have experience giving medication and administration of shots. I'm a stay at home mom who has reliable transportation so I'm available to match your schedule. I'm flexible for drop off and pick up times. I'm very open to changing anything to accommodate to your pets needs. My home has a fenced yard front/back for playing and potty breaks. When I'm in clients homes I am very respectful of the home and treat it with care

About: A new chapter has me working from home full-time — and I’m so excited to open my home again! I’d love to care for your pup while you’re away, offering cuddles, calm vibes, and a cozy space shared with my two small resident dogs. 🐾 Meet the Crew: Iggy is my 14-year-old tripod and self-appointed commander-in-chief. He mostly keeps to his cozy corner, supervising the house and making sure playtime doesn’t get out of hand. Dolly is my 4-year-old shadow. She’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly. If your pup wants to play, she’s in — but she’s just as happy to nap nearby and match their energy. 💛 My Experience: I fostered dogs for over seven years — from tiny puppies to more sensitive or reactive rescues. That variety helped me get really good at reading dog dynamics, adjusting space, and creating a low-stress, respectful environment for everyone involved. 🏡 My Setup: Pups have free roam of the living room and kitchen (with lots of nap spots — doggy couch included!) I use baby gates and barriers to create calm zones or give dogs space when needed If I step out briefly, I can crate your pup if you prefer — or I can safely separate mine in the bedroom and give yours the run of the main space which I prefer. I rotate rest time so every pup gets solo downtime when needed — it’s always about keeping things calm and dog-centered We have a medium-large backyard (fully fenced, ), no cats or kids, and lots of cozy options for sleep and chill time. Whether your pup is a cuddlebug, a watcher, or a play-in-the-yard type, I’ll follow their lead and make sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for. The house is petite but between the yard and snuggle time it is perfect. It is the second floor unit of a duplex and I short term rent the bottom out so mostly have exclusive use to the yard. I am okay carrying any pups up the stairs up to 30 lbs to help their knees if they need a boast. I currently work fully remote and am home all day — your dog will never be alone for long stretches. My own pups are a huge part of my life (they probably eat better than I do), and I deeply believe dogs rely on us for reassurance, love, and care. I do everything I can to live up to that, every single day. During my break from Rover, I continued fostering — over 100 puppies in the last few years. At the time, I was still going into the office, which wasn’t ideal, but it was still better than them staying at risk in the shelter. That chapter taught me so much about different temperaments, special needs, and how to create an environment where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for — even when it’s not their usual home. Safety and trust are everything in my home. I don’t take guest pups on walks — my neighborhood occasionally has loose dogs, and I’d rather eliminate that risk altogether. Instead, all outdoor time happens in my fully fenced backyard, and I’m always outside supervising. Two sides of the house are historic cemetery. The other side has three small old dogs. The one is 14 and they are cute just vocal but no threat. There is a full 6’ wooden fence between. Indoors, I keep the environment clean, calm, and free of hazards to help everyone feel safe and settled. I also regularly review the Red Cross Pet First Aid app to stay up to date on emergency protocols like choking or injury. Your pup’s comfort and safety are never left to chance — they’re at the center of everything I do.
About: I've had dogs all my life and usually was the one who has to take care of them. I have a furry friend of my own who is 5 years old. He is a rescue who was very skiddish and nervous however, now is thriving because of the love and affection he has gotten from his owner. I am fit and can take your little furry babies for long walks and play time. I work well with dogs and recognize what they need and when they need it. I am available during the days on weekdays and can do some weekends and holidays. I can work with your schedule and am flexible. I treat all dogs as if they were my own. Look no further for a friendly dog sitter. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to adjust my availability to fit your pet’s specific needs—whether that’s early mornings, midday visits, evenings, or last-minute care. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. In my home or a client’s home, I provide attentive supervision, regular feeding, fresh water, walks or playtime, and plenty of affection. I’m mindful of each pet’s personality, energy level, and any special needs, including medications or dietary requirements. I keep spaces clean and pet-safe, send regular updates and photos, and always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being.
About: I have a genuine connection to animals and care deeply for them. In my own home I care for a senior dog and two bunnies. I always give my animals my first and my best. My schedule is flexible as I prepare for graduate school. My goal is to make some connections with families that need additional pet care that I can work my schedule around to accommodate theirs. In my client's home I will be sure to understand and fulfill all of the specific expectations they have for their pets. I will provide love, comfort and a safe environment for any and all pets. While you are away, at work or just need a little extra support I will make sure your sweet pet feels all the love they are missing.
About: I enjoy meeting new pets! I have a cat of my own that I took in from the street when she was orphaned as a kitten. I still love dogs and going on walks big and small. Previously a SAPetsAlive foster parent volunteer, now I occasionally help with boarding pets but I only provide in house sitting with Rover plus other services posted. When meeting a new pet I try to be calm and let them come up to me first but I am very happy to meet new friends. What I do is daily check in’s for pets and make sure food and water is stocked and all poops are disposed of properly. I don’t train pets or play with them unless I’m specified to do so. I also prefer not to give medicine to pets unless they have become familiar with me. I know most cats just wanna be left alone especially by strangers. Hope we can connect! I am currently doing this full time, my availability is flexible please let me know how I can best accommodate yours and your pets needs. Putting pet owners at ease and placing trust in me is priority. I know it can be stressful to be away but knowing that I will respect your home and take care of your pet with love and attentiveness is what’s important.

“Millie walks Otis three times a week while I’m at work. She’s super careful and respectful of my home and treats Otis very well. The walks are 30 minutes long and almost a mile each time. She even offered to return my trash can from the curb on trash day. She’s very detailed with Rover cards so you’ll know exactly how many times your pet has used the bathroom. She’s been a life saver and helps ensure Otis is getting proper exercise. I will continue using Millie’s services as long as she’s available 🥰🐾”
