She sent photos and gave updates and even left lights on for us because it was after dark when we returned. I highly recommend her and will use definitely her for upcoming trips.”

“We are SO impressed with Emily! We met prior to her dog/ house sitting for us, and I immediately knew she was going to be great! She is so down to earth and has a great personality. During her stay with our dogs, she communicated with us immediately, to let us know that she had arrived and was settled in. She would send us cute pictures of our dogs cuddling her and just funny moments she was having with our dogs! She also took care of our home, like it was her own! She left everything neat and clean. You couldn't even tell she was here!!! She left no trash behind, bed was made, no messes at all. She was the perfect house guest and dog sitter! We will absolutely have her watch our dogs again! With her remote work and ability to stay with the dogs all day, she is a true gem of a find!! We are so thankful to have her!!”

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, but when I was about 10 my family got a dog, and every summer and some holidays when the rest of the family would go out of town I was responsible for taking care of the dog. As I got older I started watching the pets for even more family members, up to six at a time, and for as long as over a week. In college my family got a puppy and I was able to dog sit him during the days and was even able to foster a puppy for about six months in 2023. When I was in high school and training for cross country I always brought the dogs with me running. More recently, as a stay at home mom, I’ve been able to care for close friends and family members pets while taking care of my son. I am currently a stay at home mom with the occasional baby sitting job, we love getting out of the house and could check in on a pet or stay over if necessary Though we are not able to have pets in our apartment, I love caring for pets in their own home. I understand it’s important to stick to an animals routine, especially with someone new in their home and their family gone.

“Michelle is an absolute gem and is a wonderful pet sitter. We had never used Rover before but found ourselves in a tough spot when we were a week out from our vacation. Usually my parents watch our senior dog but she had just gone through radiation treatment and needed a bit more time dedicated to her for the holiday weekend. After asking a few friends and realizing quickly it wouldn’t be possible to find what we were looking for over a holiday weekend I decided to open a Rover account and see if any profiles stood out. Michelle’s profile jumped out immediately as she has previous experience with senior dogs and sick dogs who needed medication. We met with her and I knew right away this would be a great fit for our dog Daizy. Michelle stayed at our house and cared for Daizy like she was her own. She spent time with her outside laying in the sunshine, administered her twice daily eye meds and her evening pill medication. She even took Daizy potty in the middle of the night (Daizy’s medication is a diuretic and she pees often). It made us feel immensely better going out of town and that peace of mind is something you cannot put a price on. Thank you a million times over, Michelle!”

“Katie is amazing, we have 18 year old dog on lots of meds and a 8 year car with Hypertrophic Myocardiopathy. Katie easily gave our cat Fletcher meds twice a day and Lenny our dog his meds with special prescription food. It was so nice to leave our pets in the care of Katie, we had a great vacation and did not worry once. She kept us updated and sent lots of pictures. So grateful to have Katie as our pet sitter!”

“Sheldin is an amazing cat sitter! I had a last minute cancellation and was super nervous about leaving my baby alone since she recently got diagnosed with a heart disease. Sheldin agreed to watch her and even came earlier to chat about her habits, routine and things to watch out for. My cat is very shy around new people but she liked Sheldin so much she gave her a morning cuddle. I would definitely have her watch my baby again. If you’re in doubt about having Sheldin pet sit for you, don’t be, she’s very caring and I came home to a happy and alert kitty!”
