“I honestly was worried about leaving Lilly for the first time with anyone other than a family member that she knew, never having done it before. Patty invited us over for a meet and greet before Lilly stayed there so we could get her familiar with everything. Then Patty did a great job making her feel at home during her stay so that Lilly acted totally normal when I picked her up just like she was hanging out with old friends while I was gone. I would definitely ask Patty again.”

“Kiana was amazing She make sure she sent lot of updates along with pictures! Kiana understood how hard is was for me to leave my baby for the first time and keep me at ease! She is definitely part of the family now! Anytime I have to travel I know he'll be okay with his now "Auntie" ...lol”

“My friend and I were traveling through Michigan and I hadn't planned to bring my 15 year old baby because he's never stayed over at a stranger's house, but all of the wonderful reviews of Darla convinced me! We got daily videos and updates of our pups and I felt so safe leaving him there and seeing him cuddled up on the couch and wagging his tail with the other dogs. He obviously loved the big beautiful backyard and even though he's deaf and a bit of an escape artist neither was ever an issue. Would absolutely bring him back if we're in the area again!”

“Dan was amazing with our dog Mayfield, he was flexible and accommodating with our changing schedule. We asked him to bring our dog to the beach for wedding photos and he helped make our special day complete. Dan sent regular updates and lots of photos. We could tell Mayfield really loved being with Dan and would love to stay with him again.”

“I can’t say enough about Melissa. She’s totally amazing. My 8 month old Frenchie had a blast during his stay and Melissa kept me updated with pictures on how things were going. Melissa is amazing and will definitely pick her again !!!”

“Chris has consistently been reliable with communication and updates on our pup while in his care! We feel confident having him as a sitter, and will always consider him first when it comes to booking through Rover :-)”

About: Hi, I’m Jessica! I was born and raised in Montague, MI and love everything about it. I have four crazy dogs, four wonderful cats, two guinea pigs, and a 7 year old son. I have 10 years of animal experience, working at two Muskegon County animal shelters and as a vet assistant. I am licensed and insured through my personal business, Muskegon's Poopin Scoopin LLC. With my knowledge, experience, and above all passion; I guarantee the best service possible. I'm currently working part time during the week, so I have extra time to love on your furry friend! I do most of my pet sitting without my son but if you have a pet that loves children, my son would love to join. Your home is my home and I will take care of your home as so. In my home, your pet can have free access to outside with the doggy door. All cats are kept separate from the dogs. All dogs are fed separately. Detailed lists of your pets routine are helpful to ensure each pet is cared for to your expectations.
“My dog Bruno seemed to enjoy his stay. He loves other dogs and people. Gentry was very welcoming and very much a dog lover. She sent pictures for reassurance, which I really appreciated.”

About: I come from a family that has always sheltered, rescued, and spoiled all the fur babies that come into our lives. Patience and affection are our gifts. I work from home part time. That leaves my schedule open to caring for others pets in my home or for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard and a large home with plenty of room. If your pupper is unfamiliar with cats I can ensure safe space kept between them. Walks, couch potato time, and kiddos in and out make for plenty of love and activity. My children are old enough to provide respectful space to pets that need it.
About: Hello! My husband & I live in Grand Haven and I work from home. Looking to provide doggy day care or board overnight as needed. Hope you choose us! We are available at any time of day, I work from home most of the time. We can schedule as needed for pick up or drop off. We always follow all instructions from pet owners to ensure safety of pets. “Michelle was awesome!! She had my dog for 10 days and consistently kept me updated with texts and pictures. I could tell that he was very comfortable and happy throughout and upon pickup. I’ll definitely work with Michelle again very soon!!”

“Jamie is a 5 star dog sitter. Her and her family brought our dog, Brodie, in and made him part of their family. She sent pictures and communicated with us daily. Definitely will hire her again.”

About: Experienced with all kinds of dogs. I grew up with an 8lb maltese and went to boarding school where I frequently took care of a golden doodle and a pitbull/boxer puppy. Spent a summer with my brothers dog (pitbull mix), dogsat 2 older dogs for a summer (golden and mini doodle) and also have some experience taking care of cats. I’ve had experience with over hyper dogs and anxious dogs so I know how to adjust their environment to make them most comfortable. I live in a small apartment but I am right next to a park and enjoy exercising/being outside. I am currently working Monday through Friday from 7-4:30 so I am not generally available till 5:30 on a weekday. I’m available on the weekends! I have no pets of my own so your pet will be getting my full attention. I live down the road from a large park and there are many walking paths nearby. For overnights, I do have a smaller apartment so I wouldn’t want to take any dogs larger than ~40lbs as it likely would not be enough room for them.
About: I don’t have “professional” pet sitting experience but I do have personal experiences. My grandmother had puppies that I helped caring for them. She had two shih Tzu puppies that I loved like they were my own. Sadly, they both passed away around the same time. I know how important it is to take care of your pets because pets are more like family than animals. So, I hope that you will trust me enough to take care of your family. I will listen to what you need to me to do. I can be flexible and go beyond the call of duty if necessary. I am open to learning whatever is necessary to be a great caretaker. I hope you choose me. Thank you very much❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾. I work in the evenings. So, I’m free every morning. I can take your pet out for walks or dog sit overnight. My schedule can be flexible I can take your pet out for walks or I can dog sit at night. If your pet needs a companion, I can do that also
“Christopher did an incredible job caring for Hachi. He kept me updated with messages and photos, and it was so reassuring to see Hachi happy, bonding with Jasi and the rest of his family. I would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to others looking for a reliable sitter!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
