Availability
My hours for my clients to pick up and drop off their dogs is 8am to 8pm. Taking care of your pet is my only job so I am home most of the time to play and hang out with your dog (s) Dogs from different families do not play together while staying at my house, they can see each other through secure baby gates. This is to keep everyone safe while enjoying their vacation.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pets comfort and safety are my priority. I use baby gates to block off doorways to prevent your pet from accidentally escaping. I go out into the fenced yard with your dog to play and supervise exercise. Crates are utilized for mealtimes, sleeping or if your dog can’t be supervised, like when I have to run an errand
Home
Information Patty C. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog comfortable in a crate? Dogs are crated to eat, sleep and for brief periods as needed. Does your dog have separation anxiety, if so what does he/she do if left alone? Any special needs? Afraid of thunderstorms or fireworks?
A typical day
I have a secure fenced in yard to play with your dog(s). I let them out and play with them frequently throughout the day. I also play and hang out with them inside

Pet care experience
I owned a dog/cat boarding kennel for 17 years and worked as a Veterinary Technician prior to that. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have taken care of very very old dogs giving them the special care they need and deserve, as well as feisty puppies. I can give oral, ear and eye medications and insulin or allergy injections. I have experience with deaf and blind dogs and have been owned by both. I have worked and played with my dogs in agility, flyball, obedience and trick training as well as nosework. I always keep safety in mind when walking and caring for my clients fur-kids Mostly I just enjoy working and playing with my dogs and my clients pets too! I work from home taking care of people's pets for them when they have to be away from them, while at work or on vacation. I have a fenced in yard and supervise your dog while they are outside. DOGS ARE CRATED FOR SLEEPING, EATING, OR FOR BRIEF PERIODS if I need to run a quick errand. DOGS MUST BE COMFORTABLE and CONTENT IN A CRATE. This is for your dog’s safety. I do not board huskies, pit/bully breeds or mixes of these breeds do to insurance restrictions
Reviews

Our pup enjoyed his long stay with Patty! She was very easy to schedule with, sent picture updates daily and made sure Bodhi was comfortable. Would recommend!
For pet care, there’s nobody better than Patty. She is the best dog caregiver and our dog loves visiting her. We think she’s pretty awesome, too!!

Prompt with a meet and greet set up, great at communication, and took good care of my dog. Sent pictures and updates throughout the stay. Will use again.

Patty was quick to respond, and “meet-n-greet” accomplished quickly! I received updated pictures of my pups and they were well taken care of! It was a short stay for unplanned work trip, but I will happily use Patty again in the future as life unexpectedly happens!!
