“We learned about Rover though a relative and are very glad we did. We have used various other boarding services over the past few years for Sophie. They all have their particular strengths and weaknesses but the personal service provided through Rover is the best option right now. This is Sophie's second stay with Patty and we are very happy with her service. Sophie gets along and plays well with Patty's two dogs. This takes care of two things: Sophie gets a playmate and burns off some energy. Another advantage is that it is much more relaxing and less stressful for her to be in a home environment. Patty sends out photos and updates as well which not only show that Sophie is enjoying herself, but making herself right at home. So all around a good fit for us which we will be using again. Sophie is in good hands when she stays with Patty.”

I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). About: Dogs are my one of my passions and I think they greatly enrich our lives. I grew up having a dog and now as an adult working full time, I don’t have the time to commit to having my own dog. I thought this would be a great opportunity to be able to have a way to still spend time with my favorite animal. My own personal dogs were retrievers but I’ve had experience with a variety of other breeds. I enjoy being active and being outdoors (including short/moderate distance running) so I thought dog walking is the perfect solution. Making sure the dog enjoys himself is important to me too and I just love being out in nature with them. I would love to get to know your dog! My work schedule fluctuates so my available hours for dog walking fluctuate as well. It’s something I’d love to do in my spare time when I am able to! For dog walking, I love to make the dogs feel like they can get out their energy and get tired out but in a good way. My speed adjusts based on the dog’s speed and energy levels. I love to feel like I’m forming a bond with the dog while we spend time together.

This includes feeding schedules, fresh water, walks or litter care, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely while giving pets companionship and reassurance while their family is away. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with supervision and structured routines so pets feel secure. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is always to treat every pet like family and give them the same love and care I give my own!

“We learned about Rover though a relative and are very glad we did. We have used various other boarding services over the past few years for Sophie. They all have their particular strengths and weaknesses but the personal service provided through Rover is the best option right now. This is Sophie's second stay with Patty and we are very happy with her service. Sophie gets along and plays well with Patty's two dogs. This takes care of two things: Sophie gets a playmate and burns off some energy. Another advantage is that it is much more relaxing and less stressful for her to be in a home environment. Patty sends out photos and updates as well which not only show that Sophie is enjoying herself, but making herself right at home. So all around a good fit for us which we will be using again. Sophie is in good hands when she stays with Patty.”

About: I have been a Equine Veterinarian Technician for just over two years now and previously worked 2 years at a small animal clinic. I love getting to meet, care for, and play with all different types of animals. I spend majority of my time outside. I love hiking and going on walks with our dogs. I have multiple years experience working with all different types of animals from farm to house pets. I currently have two box turtles and two pups Duke, a yellow lab retriever and Rocky, a terrier dachshund. I have plenty of time throughout my day and week to spend with your pets. If something is conflicting my availability I will make sure to be upfront and transparent before accepting the job. My number one goal is to do what’s best for your pet. Working at vet clinics you get to know all the tips and tricks to keeping your pet safe. When out on walks I always have a leash on your pet and never let them off.

About: I come from a family that has always sheltered, rescued, and spoiled all the fur babies that come into our lives. Patience and affection are our gifts. I work from home part time. That leaves my schedule open to caring for others pets in my home or for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard and a large home with plenty of room. If your pupper is unfamiliar with cats I can ensure safe space kept between them. Walks, couch potato time, and kiddos in and out make for plenty of love and activity. My children are old enough to provide respectful space to pets that need it.
