“We learned about Rover though a relative and are very glad we did. We have used various other boarding services over the past few years for Sophie. They all have their particular strengths and weaknesses but the personal service provided through Rover is the best option right now. This is Sophie's second stay with Patty and we are very happy with her service. Sophie gets along and plays well with Patty's two dogs. This takes care of two things: Sophie gets a playmate and burns off some energy. Another advantage is that it is much more relaxing and less stressful for her to be in a home environment. Patty sends out photos and updates as well which not only show that Sophie is enjoying herself, but making herself right at home. So all around a good fit for us which we will be using again. Sophie is in good hands when she stays with Patty.”

About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: a 5yo female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are fixed/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.

About: I worked at a doggy daycare for 7 months, that included playtime, grooming, and training. About: I don’t have “professional” pet sitting experience but I do have personal experiences. My grandmother had puppies that I helped caring for them. She had two shih Tzu puppies that I loved like they were my own. Sadly, they both passed away around the same time. About: Experienced with all kinds of dogs. I grew up with an 8lb maltese and went to boarding school where I frequently took care of a golden doodle and a pitbull/boxer puppy. Spent a summer with my brothers dog (pitbull mix), dogsat 2 older dogs for a summer (golden and mini doodle) and also have some experience taking care of cats. I’ve had experience with over hyper dogs and anxious dogs so I know how to adjust their environment to make them most comfortable. I live in a small apartment but I am right next to a park and enjoy exercising/being outside. I am currently working Monday through Friday from 7-4:30 so I am not generally available till 5:30 on a weekday. I’m available on the weekends! I have no pets of my own so your pet will be getting my full attention. I live down the road from a large park and there are many walking paths nearby. For overnights, I do have a smaller apartment so I wouldn’t want to take any dogs larger than ~40lbs as it likely would not be enough room for them.

I can trim nails (even if feisty) i have had a polydactyl cat before so i understand needing to look for hidden nails. About: I am very well adapted to dogs of all ages, puppies and senior "puppies". Taking care of them since the age 12. Even all breeds. I run my own business so I have much flexibility for play time, potty breaks walks social time and much cuddling. Even training if needed. If dog sitting in my home the crate is available or they would have free roam of my home, outdoors would be on a leash as I do not have a fenced in yard.

About: I’ve been obsessed and very passionate about animals ever since I was very young. I have experience in owning many animals from fish, birds and reptiles to dogs and cats and loved all of them the same. I’m very good at leash training and teaching simple tricks such as sit, shake, lay and roll over! I go for long hikes daily with my dog who is beyond nice and has never had a problem with the 10+ dogs he’s been around in his life, if anything he enjoys any company and is very gentle. I’m open everyday for a few hours maybe more depending on the day and there’s usually a few days out of the week that I’m completely free. I try to respect whatever the owner of the animal would like. Whether that’s not taking their dog for too long of walks, not letting them on furniture, etc.. I try to stick to their natural regimen so that way they act accordingly for their owners. I work from home so pet sitting is something that helps me financially and mentally! I’ve always enjoyed working with animals since I can remember. I treat my client’s dog as if it is my own in every way. Unless any special directions are given, for example not sitting on furniture, no jumping on people, etc…

About: My experience comes from my own dogs I've had over my 46 years. I've had a dog my whole life, except for about 2 years after one dog passed before I got my first basset hound in 2010. My most recent dogs were 2 basset hounds. One was a rescue, Elmer, and one I had from 8 weeks old, Mel. They've both since passed of old age. Elmer passed in 2024, he was nearly 13 and Mel this year, he was 15. I miss them terribly, both my boys but my Mel the most, he was my baby. But because my husband and I decided we needed a break from having a pet full-time, I thought providing pet care for others would give me the best of both worlds. Being able to help others take care of their pets without worry, but also for me to get some fur baby love without having a pet full-time. So, you can rest assured that with me, your fur baby will be taken care of with lots of love! I am working part-time from home and no longer have a pet in the home, so my schedule allows me to take time for pet care during the week. I have a fenced-in backyard that is accessed from a deck that is accessed from a slider in our dining room. And because there are no pets in the home currently, your fur baby would get 100% of my attention.

About: I have an older pup with health issues so i understand the need to have the times and certain circumstances prioritized! For kitties i understand it’s hard for them to warm up and i am very patient and want them to feel comfortable regardless of where they are! I work 12am-12:30pm saturday through monday so during the week i have some down time and what better way to fill it than watch some cuties! For Dogs: I take the pups out on leashes but if you have a fenced yard i can obviously watch them and play with them outside that way! With owner permission i can take them to the dog parks and get more energy out that way! i do not mind dogs getting dirty and then getting in my car. For Cats: I can bring some toys, cat nip, and treats if allowed! I want them to feel comfortable in either their own environment with me there or in my home. Change can be a lot of them but i want all kitties to feel welcomed and calm with me!

“This guy is phenomenal and I can't recommend him enough. A gentleman and a scholar. Justin has done an amazing job with my dad's dog. Dad is aging and recently injured his back, so Buddy hasn't gotten the training or exercise he needs. Within 3 walks, Buddy, who is petrified of everything, had warmed up to him. Justin went the extra mile, teaching Buddy how to leash walk properly and starting him on commands. The exercise for buddy has given my dad a chance to start actually resting his back and recover. Justin has been patient with Dad and incredibly accommodating with our situation of me being far away while doing this and helping us meet Buddy's goals. I'll definitely book his services again. He's given me great feedback on Buddy's progress, seems to genuinely care about him and empathize with us, and has even given me reassurance while I'm frantically try to care for my dad from a distance. Just a side note that we are trying to get dad into an assisted living community and prepare Buddy to go with him because my dad is so lonely otherwise. (It's good for Buddy too, who adores dad and will mellow out as he matures.) Justin's work has given me the hope that we can reach that goal.”

They all have their particular strengths and weaknesses but the personal service provided through Rover is the best option right now. This is Sophie's second stay with Patty and we are very happy with her service. Sophie gets along and plays well with Patty's two dogs. This takes care of two things: Sophie gets a playmate and burns off some energy. Another advantage is that it is much more relaxing and less stressful for her to be in a home environment. About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: a 5yo female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are fixed/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.

About: I worked at a doggy daycare for 7 months, that included playtime, grooming, and training. I have always had a dog and a cat in my home growing up, and I strive to continue my future with caretaking animals. I will always try my best to make your animal as comfortable and happy as possible! I have no job currently, this would be my main priority, I am counting this as my job at the moment so my full attention is on pet sitting. About: I don’t have “professional” pet sitting experience but I do have personal experiences. My grandmother had puppies that I helped caring for them. She had two shih Tzu puppies that I loved like they were my own. Sadly, they both passed away around the same time. I know how important it is to take care of your pets because pets are more like family than animals. So, I hope that you will trust me enough to take care of your family.
