“We learned about Rover though a relative and are very glad we did. We have used various other boarding services over the past few years for Sophie. They all have their particular strengths and weaknesses but the personal service provided through Rover is the best option right now. This is Sophie's second stay with Patty and we are very happy with her service. Sophie gets along and plays well with Patty's two dogs. This takes care of two things: Sophie gets a playmate and burns off some energy. Another advantage is that it is much more relaxing and less stressful for her to be in a home environment. Patty sends out photos and updates as well which not only show that Sophie is enjoying herself, but making herself right at home. So all around a good fit for us which we will be using again. Sophie is in good hands when she stays with Patty.”

About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: a 5yo female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are fixed/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.

About: I don’t have “professional” pet sitting experience but I do have personal experiences. My grandmother had puppies that I helped caring for them. She had two shih Tzu puppies that I loved like they were my own. Sadly, they both passed away around the same time. I know how important it is to take care of your pets because pets are more like family than animals. So, I hope that you will trust me enough to take care of your family. I will listen to what you need to me to do. I can be flexible and go beyond the call of duty if necessary. I am open to learning whatever is necessary to be a great caretaker. I hope you choose me. About: Can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I’ve had all types of animals while growing up from hose pets to reptiles to farm animals ! I work 3rd shifts at Pinerest in Grand Rapids, I work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and every other weekend. My boyfriend is home every Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I have a kitty of my own! So we have extra litter boxes and a dog park outside our complex! Lots of toys for all animals as well!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I’ve had many breeds throughout the years. My most favorite is dachshund. I currently have a 1 year old long haired dachshund. I am also and mother, teacher, and animal lover. I’m currently working full time so I’d be available to walk dogs after 4:00 pm and pretty open availability on the weekends. I enjoy walking and being outdoors and I love meeting new animals. We treat our pets in our home just like family. We have a fenced in portion of our yard for small dogs . We also allow our animals to sit on the furniture and in the bed.
