About: Hi my name is Carole. I had a petsitting business many years ago when I realized how difficult it was asking friends to take care of my menagerie all the time. Loved loved loved petsitting and all the interesting pets (and their owners) I met over the years. I recently retired and thought PERFECT this is what I want to do again! I currently have three dogs and a cat. But in the past I’ve had every animal you could think of…Potbelly pigs, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, Caiman gator, chameleons, goats, turkeys, ducks… I love animals! I have been involved with dog shows over the past 40 years ( do not currently show at all). Did mostly obedience and agility. And was very involved with our breed rescue group. Let your pet stay home with loving and compassionate care for your pet in the comfort of a familiar and safe environment. I am available anytime, as I said I am retired 😊 and home all the time. And able to travel… have a place out of state you need pets and home looked after? For boarding in my home…I have two separate fenced yard’s. A total of about a half an acre. Very secure and landscaped. The big yard has gardens and a ditch that dogs love to sniff around. And a small yard in case your dog doesn’t want to be around my dogs 😊. I also have a doggie door that goes out to a fenced in small area. I have three medium size dogs that are extremely mellow couch potatoes and get along with all dogs! For overnight stays or drop in visits in your home… Again I will try to keep them on their regular schedule and work with you for whatever you need for your pet!

I've cared for dogs ranging from a three-legged Chihuahua to an Irish Wolfhound and am comfortable administering medications, following special feeding instructions, and managing prescription diets. Potty time is out on the property, so if you are worried about your baby running off, please include a leash and I will gladly go out and walk them. I live in a wonderful area of Hudson farmland that is private and semi-secluded. Walks will be a must as I do not have a fenced in back yard. Your baby will have plenty of room to run around and furniture to jump and sleep on!

About: Coming from an Italian family, I have lived both overseas and in the US. I have experience dog sitting, walking, obedience training, puppy training, and have done extensive dog rehabilitation. Every job I've done so far he has been with me with no issues. Meeting Bucky will undoubtedly answer some more difficult questions you might have about the quality of my pet care. Dogs are social animals and as humans we tend to spend so much time training them to be good we can forget we are the architects of their entire reality and to take time to just let them just be dogs. They're loud messy and impulsive. When we choose patience over frustration and offer comfort to a creature that cannot speak our language I feel that is engaging in the highest form of stewardship. A true non transactional act of service. I am currently living nomadically as a way to take my dog Bucky on his retirement journey of sorts. He DOES NOT have to participate in any tasks you hire me for but you can always opt in to that for free. **Please note that I cannot exclude my dog for over night stays at your location. Only walks and check-ins ect. My nomadic lifestyle is very much to your benefit, as it gives me a flexible schedule and the time and ability to focus on what you and your pets need. If you need a pet sitter for overnight or long-term care but aren't sure about having someone live in your home, that's fine! I just find a place to park. About: I’ve had the pleasure to grow up with dogs and started learning the responsibility at a young age. I began watching pets outside of my family at the age of 13, doing both over nights and drop in visits. One of the dogs I grew up with is extremely anxious and emotionally in-tune. Growing up alongside her gifted me the skills of compassion and the recognition of the importance of comfort and trust. I am completing my teaching residency, meaning I work a typical school schedule 8-2:30 4 days a week, as I am in residency I also have the availability to be flexible, meaning your fur babies will not be alone that full 8 hours, as I come home on lunch breaks and can walk the pups on free periods.
