About: I adore animals of all kind. I have raised dogs and trained them myself. I am able to care for puppies and senior dogs. I am able to walk larger dogs and can give medication if needed. I have return clients and they are like family. Your animal baby is safe with me. I am a stay at home mom but I walk dogs and take care of cats during my day while my kids are at school. It’s so rewarding to be able to spend my days with dogs and cats. I am aware of my surroundings and keep all animals as safe as I can while walking. I am aware of animal behavior and can understand their social cues.
“Aj is absolutely wonderful with our two kitties and our home! Communication is quick, home visits are reliable, photos and thorough descriptions of the drop-ins are always provided, and most of all... both our cats (even our shy guy) are comfortable around Aj and get enough love/play that we get to come home to a happy house each time.”

“We had Mickayla check in on our cat Gumbo several times while we were out of the country for two weeks. She was easy to work with in setting up both a meet and greet, and regular visits, flexible with our schedule, and happy to give him affection in addition to cleaning out his box and refilling his food and water. She did a great job taking care of Gumbo while we were out (and even kept a couple of tropical plants in our house alive)! We would definitely use her again to watch Gumbo.”

“Coral was an amazing pet sitter for our anxious kitty. It can be difficult to find a sitter that our cat is comfortable with. During the meet and greet, our cat was already rubbing up against her legs and wanting to smell her! During drop-in visits, she made sure to take lots of pictures and send detailed notes, which I really appreciated. Coral also cleaned up the house a bit (took trash out, started dishwasher, etc.) before she left, which was such a thoughtful touch. We (and our kitty) would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Coral for your great work!”

About: I have a flexible schedule and am available seven days a week, including weekends and most holidays. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I plan my schedule around each pet’s needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, or simply providing companionship, I make sure every pet receives reliable, loving, and personalized care. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so pet parents can feel confident while they’re away. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly. I currently share my home with two well-cared-for indoor cats. I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and a low-stress environment for animals. If I expand my services in the future, I will ensure every pet is cared for in a safe and comfortable space.
About: I work for a mobile company that provides non anesthetic dentals to dogs and cats who qualify! I am very experienced with animal behavior and many breed specific concerns. I love working with animals. I’m a college student on top of working a full time job! My main goal is to start to make more money for school to eventually receive my doctorate in psychology. I love animals more than anything and I’d love to believe they can sense that! I’m very big on positive reinforcement! And on top of it, I’m a huge sucker for animal snuggles!
“Declan was great! Very responsive and a delight to work with. My wife and I just moved to SLC and immediately went on a trip after, so we were nervous about leaving our babies in a new place, but he was very reassuring and took excellent care of them. As an added bonus he’s a master pet photographer and captured great shots of our little monsters. We will absolutely be reaching out to him for all our future trips!”

About: I’ve had the joy of caring for pets since I was a preteen growing up on CO’s Western Slope! I’ve worked with a wide variety of pets: from 100lb+ Bernese Mountain Dogs to 5lb Chihuahuas, from puppies/kittens to seniors, from active runners to couch potatoes! I have worked with multi-pet and multi-species households including, dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. I have experience administering specialty diets, complex medication regimes and accommodating disabled pets. I work remotely and on a flexible contract basis which means I am able to fit my schedule to accommodate you and your pet’s needs. My pet care philosophy is to prioritize safety, health/wellness and engaging fun. I want pet owners to have peace of mind that their beloved companions are thriving in my care.
About: I am a friendly face more than happy to help with any paw services, spanning from walks to sittings and more. All ages animals welcomed! I have a very flexible schedule, as long as walks or sittings are requested in advance. As long as parents communicate needs, I can accommodate them. I will follow all directions given from parents, and make sure the animal’s needs are met. Typically would prefer sitting at the animal’s house, I feel it makes them more comfortable.
“Kamilla stayed at our house and took care of our two young cats for a little over a week. She was very communicative, took great care of the cats and was very respectful of our home. We have already booked her for two more upcoming trips and we would highly recommend her to anyone else!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
