About: $20 off my first visit with your fur baby https://www.rover.com/sit/kristg21142 I am so excited to meet your fur babies!!! I had a large Rover clientele in NC because I treat every pet as they are my own. I worked hard to gain knowledge about animals so I could give the best possible care to my clients. I started my work with dogs at a doggy daycare in North Carolina as a kennel tech and worked my way up to assistant manager. There, I prepared the food and medication for the dogs that were staying at the facility. I also was out by myself in the big dog yard with 20+ dogs at a time. That thought me crowd control and how to watch for behavior issues in order to keep the yard playful, happy, and safe. Always followed safety procedures for the safety of the employees and the dogs. I then went to Jackson Springs, North Carolina, where I worked at K2 solutions as a kennel tech and quickly worked my way up to the USM team with my previous knowledge of dog handling and behavior skills. There I handled all dog personality types, and had to be aware at all times for safety of the dogs and team members due to the dogs previous situations. I handled personalities from friendly to dog and/or people aggressive. I will always try to make myself available to care for your Pets when you need it. Right now I’m going to do Monday-Friday and as needed on weekends I will always leave your home the way it was when I walked in. I never mind cleaning messes as directed by pet parents. I come with a positive kind attitude to ensure no stress is transferred to your pet while you’re away.

5. Josie T.
“We live far apart now, but whenever I would leave for any amount of time, Josie was my go-to sitter! I have 2 horses, 2 dogs, 4 cats and 20 chickens, so this was not a small feat that I would trust with just anyone. She always did a fantastic job and could even work my horses for me when they were getting fiery. I always knew my animals were in good hands!!”

6. Caroline L.
“Caroline is attentive and caring. She loves to cuddle with the dogs. Dogs love to play fetch with her. She follows instructions well. She doesn't mind following your training expectations like asking them to sit to get a treat. The dogs love her company and are happy after their time with her. Your pets are in good care with Caroline.”

7. Morgan B.
About: I've had pets of all kinds for my whole life. I've been walking dogs on and off for a few years and feel comfortable around all sizes and personalities! I have a nervous, reactive dog of my own as well as a dog with epilepsy. I'm experienced in administering medications and caring for special needs pups. I will love your furry friends like they're my own! I'm currently self-employed and work from home. I have very open availability for drop ins and can stay for more than an hour at a time if you'd like! I'll care for your pets like my own and treat them with kindness and respect. I prefer to supervise my dogs while they're outside in the yard and I'd be happy to spend some time hanging out with them, playing fetch or tug, or working on new tricks! I'm comfortable getting your pets into crates if need be.

8. Apple R.

“Apple is so reliable and consistent when taking my dog out. It is one less thing I have to worry about for when I am working. I love the pictures and updates she sends each day!”

9. Hoda I.
“Hoda is a compassionate and loving individual who puts her all in everything she does. She is incredibly patient with my puppy who has multiple triggers that cause simple tasks to be prolonged. She is quick to respond and respectful of my home/time. I couldn’t recommend Hoda more!”

10. Izibella M.
About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs from pitbulls and golden retrievers to great Pyrenees and Maremma sheep dogs. I have experience bathing, grooming, and overall care of dogs like walking, playing, and giving them the love they need starting from when I was little taking care of my own dogs, family dogs, and friend's dogs. I provide daily for my own dog and as a great Pyrenees mix he's got a lot to do. I take him for walks when he feels like and I bathe him the best I can even though he doesn't quite fit in the bathtub. I brush his teeth and comb his hair as well as cut his nails. I can provide the necessary food and water as well as potty breaks and am more than happy to provide the love and attention they need whether it be walks or visits to play to burn some energy. I'm pretty active and am willing to walk as far as they are to give them the time they need to enjoy the outdoors and get a good workout.

11. Consola M.
About: Hii! I have been around animals all my life, my family has owned dogs and cats to geckos and turtles and many in between! I have volunteered at a dog rescue for the past two years giving me experience with anxious dogs, and I also worked in boarding at an animal hospital, so I have experience with pets who have many different types of medical conditions and I can confidently care for them! I am also going to college for a degree in wildlife so I definitely know about animals and what they need to thrive! I am a college student but I have plenty of breaks in between classes where I can drop by and let a pet out as well as walk it. I am also available for in house sitting on the weekends and on certain week days. I have experience with crating and free range, whichever you prefer. I can also take care of seniors and others with certain health issues to make it a comfortable environment for all.

About: Hello! I’m Rosie – a lifelong dog lover with a passion for positive, loving care! I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have cared for a wide range of breeds—from mini dachshunds to Bernese Mountain Dogs. I currently share life with my silly, spunky 4-year-old Bernedoodle who loves to play and keeps me smiling every day. I’m AKC certified in both Canine Good Citizen and Urban CGC, and I love incorporating fun, gentle training into daily routines. Whether your dog is a playful pup or a sweet senior, I tailor my care to meet their needs with kindness, consistency, and joy. I’m a doctoral student in Choral Conducting at UNC and live with my partner, who’s also a music teacher. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy walking around Glenmere Park or exploring campus with canine company. What sets me apart? Deep experience, genuine care, and a calm, confident presence. I’m here to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at home. Right now, I’m on summer break, so my schedule is wide open and super flexible! During the school year, I’m a doctoral student in Choral Conducting at UNC, and I live less than two miles from campus. My class and rehearsal schedule still gives me plenty of time to come home for walks, check-ins, and quality time with your pup throughout the day. Whether it’s early morning cuddles, midday walks, or evening playtime, I make sure your pet gets consistent, loving care built into my daily routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. At my home, your dog will have plenty of space to play and relax with access to a large, fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time. Inside, they’ll be treated like family—with lots of love, attention, and a calm, positive environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and routines, whether it’s quiet time, playtime, or special care instructions. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and focused on keeping your dog comfortable in their familiar space. You can count on me to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment—no matter where your pet is staying!

15. Khloe T.
“Khloe is caring and attentive to our fur babies. She gives them frequent walks which they love almost as much as her belly rubs. Our fur babies are family to us and to leave them in Khloe's care gives us one less thing to be anxious about and we can enjoy our away time.”

16. David F.
“David recently just watched my dog Lue, and I was really nervous to leave my baby with him but David did an amazing job! Kept me informed while I was away and took so many adorable pictures of my fur baby!! I am definitely booking with him again! 5⭐️”

17. Connie D.
“I have known Connie for many years. Even when she was homeless, and she was taking care of her pets. They were her number one priority over her. Homeless was not easy for her, but her pets were number one. She will help any animal that needs help specially, wild animals that need water or food. Instead of her throwing the food away, she gives it to all the animals in the area that she may be near”

18. Amber P.
“Amber comes more than once a day and includes play time when she comes. She is not afraid to give my dogs meds when they need them either.”
