About: Hello! My name is Josie and I've had dogs (and cats!) my entire life. I raised my border collie/lab mix from 6 weeks until 10 years. I lost him at the end of 2023 to cancer and was devastated. But throughout his life, I learned how to care for a high energy dog to give him a fulfilling life. We did obstacle courses, sniff training, and he gave me a love of running and hiking that’s carried on after he’s gone. My 3 year old very mixed pupper (with us for 1.5 years) could not be more different. 😂 He loves to play and training has been more of a challenge, but he’s settled in, calmed down, and has turned into the sweetest dog. From puppies to older dogs who need special care, I have experience in it all. I am currently full time, but have full control over my schedule and it’s a combination of remote and on site, so there is plenty of flexibility for me to spend whatever time I need with your fur baby. I’ve lived and owned pets in every type of environment. From apartments with no good outdoor area to houses with huge backyards, each environment provides unique challenges that I’m equipped to adapt to.

“Shayna was super sweet with our pup and she was prompt and really professional. Shayna listened to the things we mentioned about how our puppy is learning to walk on a leash and she did great with him! We will definitely be booking with Shayna in the future!”

About: My family has owned large dogs for many years and I have loved getting to know them, train them, and take care of them! I have experience with feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, bathing, walks, and play time! I am currently in college, but am free from class for the summer! I look forward to spending time with and loving your pets in all of my available time. I am familiar with beds/crates and can adhere to given house rules regarding training and food. I have experience taking care of dogs and keeping them safe from any environmental hazards (such as insects or other animals). I will ensure they are well loved and have everything they need.

About: $20 off my first visit with your fur baby https://www.rover.com/sit/kristg21142 I am so excited to meet your fur babies!!! I had a large Rover clientele in NC because I treat every pet as they are my own. I worked hard to gain knowledge about animals so I could give the best possible care to my clients. I started my work with dogs at a doggy daycare in North Carolina as a kennel tech and worked my way up to assistant manager. There, I prepared the food and medication for the dogs that were staying at the facility. I also was out by myself in the big dog yard with 20+ dogs at a time. That thought me crowd control and how to watch for behavior issues in order to keep the yard playful, happy, and safe. Always followed safety procedures for the safety of the employees and the dogs. I then went to Jackson Springs, North Carolina, where I worked at K2 solutions as a kennel tech and quickly worked my way up to the USM team with my previous knowledge of dog handling and behavior skills. There I handled all dog personality types, and had to be aware at all times for safety of the dogs and team members due to the dogs previous situations. I handled personalities from friendly to dog and/or people aggressive. I will always try to make myself available to care for your Pets when you need it. Right now I’m going to do Monday-Friday and as needed on weekends I will always leave your home the way it was when I walked in. I never mind cleaning messes as directed by pet parents. I come with a positive kind attitude to ensure no stress is transferred to your pet while you’re away.

“Apple is so reliable and consistent when taking my dog out. It is one less thing I have to worry about for when I am working. I love the pictures and updates she sends each day!”

I would need a couple of days notice but I’m sure we could work something out. I would need to watch your pets at your home and am available to walk your dogs also. I cold come over to let them out and feed them

“Jenna was very responsive and had great communication. Shelley enjoyed her walks!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs from pitbulls and golden retrievers to great Pyrenees and Maremma sheep dogs.
