About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits and even reptiles since I was a little kid growing up in Madison, Wisconsin--we had cats, dogs, rodents and reptiles, often all at once. As an adult, I've kept and cared for cats of all kinds, including ones needing medical care / injections. I truly am a cat person but love all animals. I'm currently a consultant-based worker, so my free time is kinda plentiful. I like playing with and caring for animals, and as a home owner myself, I am very capable of watching and caring for a home while someone is away. I use gentleness and love and the owner's instructions to care for animals in their homes. Currently I don't offer pet boarding, but am great at drop ins for feeding / treats and potty breaks / litter box clean 'n refresh.
About: I currently have two small dogs who I take care of full time. I’ve had them for 2 years now. I love playing with dogs, rubbing their tummy, or just hanging out with them. If your dog has separation anxiety that will not be a problem. One of my dogs is the same way and I wouldn’t mind being there full time for your dog. Pet care fits into my schedule perfectly because most of my days consist of being home taking care of my two small dogs. I’m also a nursing student so it helps that I have a lot of time after studying to play with the dogs/puppies. I have a fenced yard. It is pretty big. In order to keep my dogs safe I always make sure doors are closed before letting them out and as a special precaution I like to add an AirTag to their collars in case anything happens (has not happened yet but it’s better to be safe than sorry).

I've walked dogs of all sizes, big, small, etc. I've been doing pet care since I was about 14 years old, and use to house sit for a close friend of mine for years where I would feed the dogs, let them out to use the restroom, and stay to play with them. I can let animals out for potty breaks and food bowl checks after 6pm CST on the weekdays, or even late evening walks. Otherwise, weekends are completely open for walks, housesitting, and even overnights. I always make sure that your pet is safe, whether you have a fence, crate, or leash to keep them on. Before leaving, I'll make sure that the house is locked up, and that the pet is safe in their crate if needed.
